Very well maintained spot with lots going on on the side too -- fun and large gift shop, clean laundry and restrooms, rentable sheepherders' wagons and a teepee too. Spaces are wide, well spaced. We pulled in in the early evening as a walk-in. Young woman who answered the phone also greeted and checked us in; great service from her (Serina? Selena?).

Beautiful sunset / evening views!

Tent-camped here for two nights, while we visited Bryce Canyon. The showers in this place are amazing!!! Restrooms are clean. They have ample laundry facilities, if that is what you need. We deeply enjoyed tent-camping here, because we felt as if we were camping on a vast open range! However, that said, keep in mind there is no shade for the tent sites; and wind can be surprisingly strong (the area is basically a vast open bowl, for miles around). Only the strongest wind-rated tents stand a chance, and then only if you stake them down like crazy. Ours did fine, no damage. If we had not staked them down, though; I feel they would have ended up on the other side of the range, rolling up the distant mountainsides under the robust wind gusts, lol. Nevertheless, this establishment deserves much credit: they have put much conscientious thought, time, money, and planning into what they are attempting here. It shows, when you start looking closely at what they have built. I am speaking strictly from a tent-camper's perspective--but think anyone else would be even more pleased with their experience here. I just hope that nice spots like this do not become so popular, that they are no longer available for the average first-come, first-serve tent-camper coming through, in times to come.

Review is for convenience store only... Did not use their campground but twice we stopped here, one time was in an afternoon to get gas (heading towards Capitol Reef N.P.) and again the next morning for coffee and snack from their convenience store (heading back to Vegas). They have a 24-hour Sinclair Gasoline and all major credit cards are accepted. The store is pretty well stocked with sundries and a wide variety of snacks and drinks. One side of the store looks like a game room? and a gift shop? plenty of Bear Valley souvenirs and beef jerkies sold here (including elk and buffalo jerky). There's also some video game machines as well as a pool table but not sure if it's available for use (there were merchandise on top of it). Loved the outdoor decor and old Wells Fargo stagecoach in front of the store. Fun signs "Warning: do not feed the Sasquatch" (sign available for purchase also) and props (a life-size stuffed elk) and a bear trap that has a sign over it "any problems step into our complaint department" LoL! Aaaaand! They also sold Unicorn Poop here... and it's gluten-free! Looking for an ATM machine? There's one inside the store. This establishment is located at the corner of Highway 89 and SR-20 (approx. 10 miles North of Panguitch, UT). Friendly guy working here. Family-owned. Review #1332

On site game room. Kept really clean! Dog park too!

The place is a perfect stop for a few days. The staff is awesome. I would especially like to thank Kelly for his help with our little Oooppsssy I did with RV slide outs. Kelly saved the day! Awesome place with all the amenities .

Cute little spot to fill up the tank, literally! Whether you're looking for a snack or petro, this is your spot. Stopped here twice. First time was to fill up the gas tank. Store wasn't open at the time, so we decided to return after our hike. I am so glad we did. I love stickers, they're so much fun! This spot is a great place to purchase unique stickers for cheap. Service was great too, both cashiers were friendly and fun!

This RV Park is my go to place for fly fishing Southern Utah. The Park is clean, spacious and the staff is great! It's located amongst some of the best Blue Ribbon fly fishing streams and rivers in the Western US. The Sevier River runs parallel to Highway 89, and is fantastic! The store is well stocked and the restrooms are spotless. You won't be disappointed with your stay here!

There are a few things that give me an indication of a well-run park. 1) Friendly caring staff 2) clean well-manicured RV sites and 3) The facilities are clean, well-ventilated, i.e. smell fresh and operational. Henries Hitch n Post excels on all 3! If these items are in order, you can pretty much expect the hook-ups are in order as well and they were. A note. As far as facilities are operational goes, if the park has a laundry facility my experience is there tends to be some "out of order" machines the majority of the time. Not here! The laundry room has over 10 machines and 10 dryers (didn't count) and everyone one is operational. Wow! First rate. As for the human touch, its amazing. Our short stay turned into an unanticipated longer stay due to a family emergency. Immediately the managers Ed and Beth were on top of things to assist in helping me. The emergency required some family help and Ed and Beth made sure they could stay on site so we could be close together. My instructions from them were take what time you need to address your situation and don't worry about other things we got you. This amazing hospitality and concern for us was such a big help. I told friends and family about this and a common comment is small town hospitality. Yes, probably some of that but it's mainly Ed and Beth. That's the type of people they are. Warm, caring and sincere with big hearts.

The majority of guests here were in RVs and campers. The campground is right off the highway so it could get noisy if your spot is by the road. We stayed the furthest away from the road so it didn't bother us very much at all. We opted to stay in a rustic cabin ($50/night + tax) which included a small mini fridge, microwave, and 2 beds - a queen and twin bed. This spot was perfect. We didn't have anyone staying next to us on either side and it gave a nice sense of privacy. The Red Canyon RV Park has a small dog park in the back corner by the main road. The bathrooms are dated and can use updates but are decently clean. 2 shower stalls and 2 toilet stalls on the property, gender-separated. WiFi is available (although it's pretty weak) and Verizon and AT&T worked well here. There is a general store, gas station, and restaurant/ice cream shop right next door. Laundry services are also available (coin-operated). Overall, it was a pleasant stay with minimal interruptions. Seemed like everyone here kept to themselves and it was great~

I have ruminated on whether to post a review, but am still disturbed by the unethical business…read moresituation that took place during my stay that I am unable to disregard. On February 22 I searched online for a 5-day stay with my desired amenities. Since my stay was to be in June, I knew it could be hot and I researched several parks in the area considering sites that were shaded from the south and the west, which is the hottest time of day in an RV. I do have AC, but choose not to use it, if site is properly shaded. I reviewed Google Earth and found Site #2 to accomodate my needs and paid an extra $20 to reserve that specific site. My confirmation clearly stated, "Site -2 Site # is guaranteed." When I arrived on June 16, I was met by friendly park owner, Glen. I advised him that I was in Site 2, which was occupied. He explained that the people in Site 1 had friends that he put in Site 2 to be next to them. He went on to explain that he had moved me to Site 3, which had more room. There was absolutely no prior communication provided for this change and no mention of a refund of the $20 site guarantee, as I would have likely not stayed here had I been informed. I inquired about shade and he advised that there was a good shade tree on Site 3. The tree provided shade in the morning, not in the afternoon. Now it was too late to book another campground, as it was hot and any campground with shade would certainly be booked. Further, the internet was mediocre. We stayed the 5 nights, but still are extremely disappointed with the business practices and lack of any communication regarding a site change at Circleville RV.

There's no water feature here but we had stunning mountain views all around us and lots of shade. It was in the upper 80s but the temperature here (at 6000 ft elevation) was not overwhelmingly hot. Sites are not close to each other and we scored on a corner spot complete with trees, a fire ring, picnic table and a doggie doo station. We had a ton of space! There's a dog run and two Kamp K9s; one is shaded and one is not. There's a short nature trail my dogs were enthusiastic about too. They were very happy here! The hardest thing for them was that even the driving paths were covered in rocks... they got sore paws trying to be nosy. My husband said this location has the absolute easiest and best wifi to connect to of all the KOAs we have visited. We enjoyed this one so much we stayed until checkout time just like we did at the Newton Iowa KOA. Pros: - a few miles off the highway; very quiet - lots of trees and beautiful views - very dog friendly; lots of poo stations - lots of amenities (game room, disc golf, pool, basketball, playground, volleyball court, etc) - lots of picnic tables - no codes for restrooms - huge shower stalls in the Women's Restroom (best showers so far!) - can do dishes in the laundry room or large sink outside - able to have two vehicles (only one at most locations, great for off-roading) Cons: - hard to navigate ourselves to our site (even the driving paths are covered in rocks) - not many trash cans around (but it's picturesque without em)
