We stayed at Bear Valley twice while traveling between Idaho and Arizona. The first stay was great. The facilities are clean and area is quiet. Our second stay was a disaster. Our dog, while on leash per the rules, was attacked by another camper's dog which was off leash and suffered bites. I reported the incident to the front desk. They gave us info on vets, but all were closed and none of the emergency numbers returned our calls. What was disappointing is that the front desk folks didn't seem the least bit concerned this happened and there were apparently no consequences for the camper whose dog attacked ours. I went out later that evening to take trash out and the camper had music going, was grilling, and his dog was outside off leash barking, like nothing even happened. Many campgrounds have zero tolerance pet policies. At Point of Rocks in Prescott, he would have been asked to pack up and leave. But not at Bear Valley. No accountability. No ownership. No consequences. So while we traveled over two hours out of our way, incurred as hefty pet bill and then traveled five plus hours home, this camper enjoyed his time at Bear Valley. So no thanks. I'll take my chances camping on the side of the road. read more

Pulled up and the RV lot was practically empty. Went inside to inquire about a weekly rate; no one at the campground counter so we asked the young girl at the convenience side of the building. She was pleasant enough; but couldn't answer our question about weekly rates (as reflected on their website). Brochure only listed monthly rates and she thought that information was old and incorrect. The convenience clerk went out back to get a male coworker to deal with us. This guy was clearly perturbed that he was being bothered by the question. He did say we could have the weekly rate listed on the website; but his demeanor was a complete turnoff. Very well maintained spot with lots going on on the side too -- fun and large gift shop, clean laundry and restrooms, rentable sheepherders' wagons and a teepee too. Spaces are wide, well spaced. My sister and I pulled in at 7:45pm with no reservation in May '25, and they were fantastic. Family run, and just were so pleasant to deal with. Showers/bathroom were being cleaned as we were there, and everything looked PERFECT. Tons of space on property, picnic table, small playground, and a wonderful convenient store and gas station. The best coffee set up I have seen at a roadside place, and hot breakfast food was good. We talked about how great this place was the rest of our Utah trip. They should update their pictures on their website, as they have done a lot of work to it. read more

Heated bathrooms and showers. Every thing was clean. We slept in covered wagon with a family of 5. 2 teens and a 10 1/2 yr old and slept comfortable. Tons of built in storage Sleeping pads and electrical outlets. Temps dropped into the 20's on our trip and the space heater kept us comfortable. read more

With a Sinclair gas station and store, Bear Valley RV, is a quick stop on the way to Panguitch or Bryce Canyon. The restrooms were reasonably clean. Our children appreciated the playground in the back. read more

I don't do a lot of reviews of gas stations, but this one was great. On the way to Bryce Canyon, it's a Sinclair station with reasonable prices for gas, and the exterior of the store attached has a bunch of hummingbird feeders outside. Quite the experience to be buzzed by about 15-20 hummingbirds as you leave to go back to your car. Don't worry, they're not going to run into you (hopefully). Nice place. read more

Tent-camped here for two nights, while we visited Bryce Canyon. The showers in this place are amazing!!! Restrooms are clean. They have ample laundry facilities, if that is what you need. We deeply enjoyed tent-camping here, because we felt as if we were camping on a vast open range! However, that said, keep in mind there is no shade for the tent sites; and wind can be surprisingly strong (the area is basically a vast open bowl, for miles around). Only the strongest wind-rated tents stand a chance, and then only if you stake them down like crazy. Ours did fine, no damage. If we had not staked them down, though; I feel they would have ended up on the other side of the range, rolling up the distant mountainsides under the robust wind gusts, lol. Nevertheless, this establishment deserves much credit: they have put much conscientious thought, time, money, and planning into what they are attempting here. It shows, when you start looking closely at what they have built. I am speaking strictly from a tent-camper's perspective--but think anyone else would be even more pleased with their experience here. I just hope that nice spots like this do not become so popular, that they are no longer available for the average first-come, first-serve tent-camper coming through, in times to come. read more

Review is for convenience store only... Did not use their campground but twice we stopped here, one time was in an afternoon to get gas (heading towards Capitol Reef N.P.) and again the next morning for coffee and snack from their convenience store (heading back to Vegas). They have a 24-hour Sinclair Gasoline and all major credit cards are accepted. The store is pretty well stocked with sundries and a wide variety of snacks and drinks. One side of the store looks like a game room? and a gift shop? plenty of Bear Valley souvenirs and beef jerkies sold here (including elk and buffalo jerky). There's also some video game machines as well as a pool table but not sure if it's available for use (there were merchandise on top of it). Loved the outdoor decor and old Wells Fargo stagecoach in front of the store. Fun signs "Warning: do not feed the Sasquatch" (sign available for purchase also) and props (a life-size stuffed elk) and a bear trap that has a sign over it "any problems step into our complaint department" LoL! Aaaaand! They also sold Unicorn Poop here... and it's gluten-free! Looking for an ATM machine? There's one inside the store. Wow what a hidden gem! Sites are big,full hook ups. Park is on gravel level. Laundry room on site,store with quite a bit of foods,essential and souvenirs, bathrooms are super clean, showers are super clean,handicap shower big enough to have an assistantif needed,tent on site as well as really cute covered wagon looking bunks. It doesn't look like much from the front facing the highway but this gas station offers great Knick knacks/souvenirs and friendly service. The lot is clean and very easy to get back on the highway. The restrooms are clean. Campsites in the back and include showers and even laundry services. read more

Cute little spot to fill up the tank, literally! Whether you're looking for a snack or petro, this is your spot. Stopped here twice. First time was to fill up the gas tank. Store wasn't open at the time, so we decided to return after our hike. I am so glad we did. I love stickers, they're so much fun! This spot is a great place to purchase unique stickers for cheap. I have never left a review for any RV park been here a little over a month The employees told me to let my water run so it will not freez its my fault I have no water. When you let your water run inside your RV and your discharge line freezes up first shower drain over flows then your toilet flows all in your trailer. I cleaned it up tried to explain this to the owner he called me a liar over the phone. I had to go several sites down to fill water container's had to go to ER because busted my knee and wrist because there is no ight to see where you are walking. I am not just a complainer that has nothing to do. They had electations out here all day into the night fixing the lights and fixed the water after I had to go t the Emergency Room. I am stil going to the bath room in a 5 gallon bucket because black tank frozen up because health problems cant make it across the parken lot to the RR because Im a iiar. I will post pictures of everything if in still a liar tomorrow and the other people in the park with NO water. I will follow up with this review. read more

This RV Park is my go to place for fly fishing Southern Utah. The Park is clean, spacious and the staff is great! It's located amongst some of the best Blue Ribbon fly fishing streams and rivers in the Western US. The Sevier River runs parallel to Highway 89, and is fantastic! Kelly and Jennifer are great hosts. Our Atv riding club had not selected a place for our July ride. After driving by a few times decided to call and we were set. Our club of 20 + camped here with our rvs and were impressed overall with reservations process, spacious sites, clean bathrooms, showers and conveniencestore/gas station. A few of us even returned this past weekend for Labor Day. Other than hotter than expected weather we had a great stay. Rode the nearby trails. Drove to Panguitch lake to catch a ton of fish. This is a great camping experience. We planned on spending one night here, while visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. It's clean Quiet Friendly Has full hook-ups Close to parks and cute little town of Panguitch Has a fully stocked store Clean bathroom and shower with great pressure We ended up staying 3 nights. Our pickup broke down. When my tow insurance wasn't responding quickly, the owner recommended a local towing company. Had a very pleasant experience our first day, campsite is spacious and a nice big grass area for our dog to use the restroom. The young girls working the store were very friendly and everything smelled nice and clean, as they were mopping and sanitizing the restrooms at the end of the day. This is one of the best RV parks in Southern Utah. It is about 10 minutes from Panguitch, They have a gas station with a snack store plus miscellaneous items, a game room, LOTS of washers and dryers and much more. If you are a person who hates crappy bathrooms, I have stayed here every summer for the past 3 years and I have not found not 1 bug or critter and they don't smell either. The lot sizes are HUGE! You can stream videos on low quality with the WiFi. There is a playground, and the Staff is the nicest I've ever met. Please stay here, they deserve it! read more

We found this RV spot after we discovered Bryce Canyon National Park was completely full. It's very friendly, very clean and very quiet. We were comfortable during our stay here and would recommend staying if you're taking 89 north from Bryce. Stay on 89 and about 15 mins north is the childhood home of Butch Cassidy. It's a free stop and worth the time. The entire canyon on 89 is gorgeous. read more

This park is a hidden gem. The RV sites are spacious and the view of the mountains spectacular. Owners are friendly, and Mike is great at helping you feel welcome and showing you the local ATV sights. We extended our stay because it was so centrally located to the national parks. Wow what a great Campgroung near Bryce Canyon I first met the owner as he was building his dream and he sure built it Right A must stay when in the area of Utah. I'm from Indiana and been here a few times and always his staff and family are so nice Bear Valley as a dog run fenced in, Corrals to keep your horses , a fantastic camp store and gas,diesel station,propane fill up , super clean located on Utah 89 and at the corner of 20 which comes off of I15 Bear valley Campgrounds has some cute Sheepwagons, Tepee,little western cabin with a loft for for those folks that love the outdoor experience and doesn't pull their own camper they rent and also has atvs you can rent and take off to the BLM land right from the camp. We only stopped here for gas, ice and the restrooms, but if we had known we would have planned to stay at the RV site. The whole place was spotless. There is a huge laundry area with multiple machines and a large folding counter. Sparkling clean restrooms and showers were available also. There is a great playground for kids to get out some wiggles and a pool table for indoor playing. The store is adorable and has tons of Bear Valley souvenirs. Best place to grab gas or a cold drink coming in or out of Panguitch Valley. Friendly service and lots of cool things to buy. Love that they have newly constructed gas pumps! Be sure to swing in, camp out, or fill up. They'll take really good care of you. read more

It smelled horrible and neither of the employees wore masks. Bathroom was unclean. They sold a few terrorist/fascist products. The employees also glared at us while we shopped -- not sure why because we didn't say anything. read more

We stayed 3 nights here going to Bryce Nat Park each day, which is only 30 min away. This park is new , the lots are large, all lots are pull through with full hook ups. It's a gravel lot so it's a little hard on our pups feet unless we walk him to where the gravel is more packed. Other than that this is an awesome place to stay and the price is right!
