I really enjoyed my stay at this motel! I am not sure how I found this place but I am glad I did! It is a really easy drive from the east entrance of Zion and right off the highway in Hatch, Utah. Close to Bryce Canyon as well. We checked in late and had no issues. We stayed in the Lone Ranger room which is perfect for two. There is a bathroom, shower, table and chairs, full sized mattress, fridge, microwave and coffee pot. No tv which I didn't mind because the view from the little porch outside is lovely and there is a dark sky at night. I live in an area with light pollution and it was wonderful to see the stars at night. I prefer firmer beds and this was fit the bill and I slept wonderfully. There is a 7:30 am continental breakfast so that was a nice touch too. There is a fire pit and grill available for use. I am really happy staying here! I would definitely recommend it if visiting the nearby National Parks! read more

we got there at 7:30pm. No one was there to greet us. we didn't see anyone for over 24 hours and when we did at 10:30pm Nicole, the camp manager, was trying all sorts of ways to charge us more money. age said we couldn't have eight people on a site and didn't back down till we showed her that we booked a site for eight online. then she said we had too many tents, even though there isn't a minimum on their website. then she pointed out that we were in the next site and made us move our tents or she would have charged us $30. There was almost no one there So she could have given us a break. if someone had greeted us when we got there we might not have made that mistake. Most camp managers are reasonable but she is a stickler for the rules. The TV in the doesn't work as well. For the rest of our lives we'll call her Empress Nicole in her ATV chariot. read more

This is a good ATV riding area and the camp has many riders in camp and for Years they have allowed for you to wash off your ATV in the grass at camp. This year they will not let you rinse off your ATV and recommended I take it to Panguitch to the car wash. (15.1 miles)? Most RV camps I have used in ride areas of Utah accommodate washing your ATV in camp unless water is a problem. Here we have a river go thru camp. The Rv sites are wide and easy to enter. A good campground that has two RV sections down the hill from the motel and further away from the highway. First there are two rows of 50AMP full hookup pull thrus that are wide with picnic tables on gravel. Further back are tent and 30AMP back-in water and electric sites on the river. Our pull-thru was not that level, so we had to put 4" blocks under the front levelers. Nice people and they warned us when it was going below freezing, so we could disconnect water. They have wifi and both Verizon and AT&T work. It was not far into Bryce Canyon National Park and just a bit further to Cedar Breaks National Monument, both worth visiting. Groceries are in Panguich, 14 miles north. read more

This was only our 2nd experience staying at an RV park, and we were pleasantly surprised. Mrs. Nicole was super helpful during the check-in process and both her and her husband offered lots of assistance during the 5 nights we stayed there. They even let us borrow a few items we needed until we could pick up our own the next day. The facilities are well maintained and everything was very clean including the laundry room area. Yes, you are fairly close to your neighbors, but we were not at the park to hang out. We simply needed a place to sleep after sightseeing each day. The area down by the river was beautiful and an easy walk from the upper section we were located in. read more

We found this place after another RV park in town gave away our reserved spot. That was fortuitous, as the Riverside Ranch Motel and RV Park had RV spots that backed right up to the Sevier River! Bill and his wife have taken over the operation of the resort from their kids and are making improvements to the place. We were present for the christening of their new fire pit. Pluses include: ability to fish right outside of your RV, great river views, fabulous sunsets reflecting off the pink cliffs to the east , fabulous moonrises over the east ridge, and lots of songbirds. The site amenities (fire pits, hookups, tables, etc) could use some improvement, but the location along the river more than compensates. The location near Hatch is great for visiting Bryce Canyon and is about an hour away from Zion. Overall we had a great experience here and will return if we get back this way. read more

Clean facilities, wide level sites, gorgeous setting and views looking toward the park, the lazy Seivier River ambling nearby, cute town of Panguich close. The evening sunsets reflecting off the mountains are incomparable. But the greatest treasure of Riverside Ranch is Nicole and her husband who make this simple campground 5 stars. Riverside's location puts you in driving distance to all the different attractions in the Grand Staircase including Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Bill and Barbara are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. Every morning when I went in the office to get my coffee, Bill asked me what I was doing that day and then gave me advice about it. I would disregard all reviews prior to 2014-2015, new owners have purchased it since early 2016 and have done a terrific job in upgrading this park. The staff are very courteous and go above and beyond to make sure guests are taken care of. The Riverside is located close to Bryce, Red Canyon and other attractions in this area, it works great for a central point to camp. We had the extreme pleasure of meeting the camp hosts Mike and Vicki, they have to be the hardest working camp hosts you will ever meet, they must work 10-12 hours a day and take true pride in the resort, they are definitely the foundation for the success of the Park. Neat RV and camp site. Nice and clean. We were about 40 minutes from Bryce Canyon NP. I accidentally booked the wrong days but Michael was able to get us in another RV site when we showed up. Nice restrooms and showers and a lot of room to play games and have fun. Awesome night sky too. Not as close as some sites to Bryce Canyon but I would highly recommend to anyone willing to take the extra time to make the beautiful drive into the park. read more

What a great spot for exploring Bryce and the surrounding area. We stayed in the hotel, not the RV Park. Our room was immaculate, good size, a microwave and frig and a great shower. The office has coffee and a self serve breakfast available from 8 to 10. But by far the best thing about Riverside are Mike and Jan. Jan guided us in from a late night at Bryce, making sure we had everything we needed for check up. Mike gave us a great plan for our "free day" outside the national parks, with ideas for hikes, lunch, off the grid adventures. All the inside scoops from someone local. I hope we get a chance to come back and explore more, we just bought a trailer and are hoping to camp here. read more

Riverside Ranch isn't all that noticeable from the road, but I'm so glad we stopped there for the night. We stayed in one of the rooms (not the RV park). We got two queens for $130, and we could not have been happier. The rooms were very clean and updated. The WiFi is possibly the best of any hotel we've ever stayed at (apparently they just had fiber optic installed). The owner was very nice and accommodating and had to-go breakfast bags and coffee prepared in the office (our stay was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I'm not sure how breakfast would be done otherwise). Also, there was a fire pit with a pile of firewood for residents' use. We were too tired to go out there, but on any other occasion, a fire would have been awesome! read more

I'm not going to say it's the nicest place but it was clean and the people are friendly. They have an RV park down by the stream. The lady at the counter offered me a fishing pole and bait if I wanted to go fishing. If you drive through Hatch, don't expect much, if you stop and talk to people I know you'll enjoy the place as much as I did. read more

I will definitely be back! This is a homey, comfortable place with exceptional customer service and from our motel room, a stunning view. I came to Hatch to run a trail race just outside Bryce Canyon so I called ahead to make sure there was a fridge and coffee maker in the room since I would be getting up at 3:00 in the morning for the 5:00am race start. There was a fridge but no coffee maker so Bill kindly offered to let me borrow an electric kettle for race day so I could make my coffee and oatmeal. We had a huge room, enough for 4 of us to fit comfortably without bumping into each other. Room was warm and clean, good water pressure in the shower. Bill's wife graciously allowed me to borrow trekking poles and offered advice on the town and the road to the race start. The day after the race I joined in for the included continental breakfast and lively conversation in the cozy "lobby". There is also an RV area and a spot for camping so all bases are covered whatever your mode of travel. I highly recommend this place as a jumping off point for Bryce or Zion or Thunder Mountain mountain biking trail. read more

Wanted to visit both the Zion and Bryce National Parks so stayed at the Riverside Ranch for six days as both parks are accessible from there. Could not have had a better experience! We set up in a site along a stream and the view from the door of our RV was the bubbling stream, empty fields, and distant mesas. We had a tire mishap and the park manager was more than helpful. He located the right size RV tire in a nearby town, helped to pull the tire off and then helped again to put the tire on. The grounds and facilities were well maintained and clean. While other parts of the camp had sewage hookups, we chose to be next to the stream where code prevented a drain. So used the camp showers to avoid filling the grey water tank and only had to pull to the main camp drain one time during the week. We loved the canyons, especially Zion, so we will return and we would gladly stay at Riverside again. read more

My bf and I spent one of our days fishing on the RV park's property- they had a stream running through it and we caught some pretty epic trout! Be aware that this place doesn't look as nice in person as it does on their website...There's definitely some photo shop going on there. It's pretty run down, and there is absolutely no privacy there. And it seemed quite a bit pricier than the other rv places that we drove past during our stay there. It's probably more like a 3.5 star rating, but I'm rounding up :) The pros were that the people running it were very nice and accommodating. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and I liked that the showers weren't coin operated. Our kids liked the basketball and swing area. The scenery is gorgeous and the location is nice. It's pretty close to bryce canyon, which is amazing. It's a pretty far drive to zion, but it's a beautiful drive. read more
