Found this on Google randomly when we got stuck in the area during extremely high winds. We didn't want a second night of our tent almost collapsing on us, so we booked a last minute cabin. We would have been so grateful for just bare bones accommodations, but what we found was so much more awesome! Lynn was so welcoming and extremely helpful with places to eat, etc. The cabin had everything you could need and was clean and secure and also just a darling experience. The whole place is so gosh dang cute. Bed was comfy and clean. Fire pit outside is an awesome addition even though we couldn't use it due to fire restrictions. Free drip coffee in the morning was so good that I didn't even want a latte - though they do have a full service espresso bar available on site! You'll also find cute postcards, tumbled rocks, maps of the area, local geological facts and stuff. You can hang out in the reception/coffee area, which had seating and outlets. They have laundry downstairs (we didn't check it out though). And the whole property has free wifi! There are SO many amenities here for dogs as well!! I wish we had ours, but they hate going on the road, so we didn't get to take advantage of the dog park, wash station, or in-room pet blankets. On top of their cabins/casita, they also have tent sites and RV and van sites. One of the absolute best stops we've ever made on the road! Don't forget to hang out with Debbie (meow). read more

We stayed in a cabin here for a break in our van-cation and to do laundry. The location was good, close to town with views of the surrounding countryside. The young woman at the office was super friendly and helpful in getting us settled. Although they don't have a dedicated RV dump station, she said it was fine to use the water and sewer hookups from any of the unoccupied RV sites. An added bonus was having not one, but two food trucks on site, as well as a coffeehouse in the lobby. Our cabin was very comfortable too. Highly recommend! read more

This is one of the best locations to stay in all of the Grand Staircase. My wife and I have been living the RV lifestyle for about 3 years now. We've been all over the country, stayed at lots of places, and experienced things we've liked and not liked at all of them. We've explored this place and this town in all 4 seasons. Escalante Cabins & RV Park is inarguably one of the best. The sites are all big enough for big rigs and they're not all jammed together. There are incredible mountain views from the sites, and as soon as the sun goes down, you can step out side and see the whole of the milky way. Meteor showers, Eclipses, I even caught a picture of a bolide - a meteor exploding when it enters the atmosphere. As photographers, there's really no better place to be. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, they're familiar with the area hikes and the visitor center across the street is open year round to provide recommendations and road conditions for wherever you might want to explore. Dogs are welcome and the sites have reasonable sized lots for them to be outside. There's a little dog park and everyone we've met has been extremely dog friendly. That's important to us. It's hard to recommend a place more highly. They're here to make sure your stay is comfortable - but if you are comfortable, they stay out of the way! This location offers an actual working laundromat, showers, firewood, and propane for travelers, you don't have to be staying at the park to use those. There's a community room that can be rented for larger events at extremely reasonably prices. The internet speeds at this park are (at times) better than I've seen from ANY campground. I've seen 300Mb down and 100Mb up, which is completely insane. Better than starlink, better than wired cable we used to use as homeowners. That fluctuates at times pretty wildly, but most campgrounds in comparison are throttled to 5mb down 0.5mb up. That alone puts this park above others for me. It's very impressive. This area is very remote and has spotty cell coverage, but there are VZW and ATT towers and both work acceptably well within the "town" area and from the park. People come here to find themselves, explore the wilderness, write books, sing songs, push their physical limits hiking and climbing, and just get away. We've stayed here in the summer and in the winter and we would stay here again without question in the future. There's so much to see and so much to do that there is no limit on how long a vacation here could be fun and fulfilling. That's all up to you. read more

This was my first time camping solo. I was coming down to Escalante for some hiking and I chose this RV park because it seemed like it was safe as a solo female camper. I was tent camping and one thing to be aware of, is the lack of shade. Escalante is very hot in the summer, and as a novice camper I underestimated how difficult it is to camp in the heat. I had a dog with me so we had to hang out away from camp because it was just too hot at the campground. The bathrooms are clean and are great to have, especially after a day of hiking. They have a nice laundry facility too. The owner sent me messages reminding me that cell coverage is spotty in this area. I appreciated knowing this in advance. There were other families staying here, and for my two night camp, I felt very safe. I will for sure come back here again to camp- when it's a little bit cooler. As a former employee, Jet Hospitality is anything but an ideal employer and their lack of good culture and poor business operation affect the campground business itself. I was hired on to co-manage with my husband. Jesse and Aaron had big ideas and dreams for the newly acquired property, but "lacked providing structure, not providing better leadership," per Aaron's words, and lack organization. I had multiple meetings with both owners during my short time working there, during each meeting both owners would change their mind on projects and were never on the same page. I spent most of my time trying to develop SOP's for the company, digitalize all the files, develop timelines for projects, etc., but was unable to fulfill any of the task due to Jesse and Aaron wanting me to stop those tasks to start a new one. I did express my frustrations with the constant changing of plans and not being able to finish one task, but saw no change. After a little over a month I did start putting in minimum efforts towards the job because I never received clear instructions on what both owners wanted. Owners each came out to the property separately one time when I was working for them and spent more time drinking (even showing up to the camp ground with alcohol), then focusing on improving their business. Due to their disorganization and lack of genuine care of their team, 3 of 6 employees quit at the same time (including myself), and 1 employee got fired who caused a huge rift in the company and was doing drugs on site, whom Jesse want to promote as a co-manager despite knowing all the issues they caused. Other issues that arose within the company was failure to follow proper steps with permitting/notifying the city to work on projects. I had suggested we submit the proper paperwork to proceed, I even called ahead of time to ask how long the process would take and shared that information with Jesse, but received the response of "we will do the projects now and ask for forgiveness later." Upon starting construction, a city worker came out and told them to stop all construction due to not having any permits. Although the paperwork has been correctly filed, to date, those project have not been completed or continued for many other reasons, one being to the company not wanting to hire experienced individuals to do the job. During the time of construction, there was an incident that resulted in my car being damaged in which Jesse said they would cover the cost to fix it, but that never happened. As far as bad culture and lack of care for their team members, my at the time husband, Scott, decided to continue with the company. Him and 1 other employee were running the entire campground operations together. Knowing they were underwater and needed help, neither Owners came out to help. They did send a manager to help for a few days, but the 2 employees were by themselves for weeks. Scott went on almost a month with no days off, working 16+ hours a day. Despite asking for help, the owners remained absentee owners and continued to pile more work on Scott. Scott is a dedicated, hardworking employee and is loyal to the company, wanting only what's best for the campground. Jesse and Aaron recognized that and did a lot of verbal praise, but was not supportive in the way owners should be, such as going to the campground and helping with coverage until help was found. As of about a week ago, I have fully moved off the property, including my trailer that my former husband was staying in. Scott committed to stay on site at least through the winter. Jet hospitality has not offered housing for him, which they do for other Innkeepers, and has left Scott to live in an unfinished "gathering room" with no bedroom, insulation, heat or permeant lighting. While Scott has been figuring out other sleeping arrangements outside of that unfinished room, the campground has an apartment, vacation home and 5 cabins that are all fully furnished, that Jet Hospitality would not offer despite there being complete vacancy and knowing Scotts housing situation. While I think Jet Hospitality has potential to grow into a better company, my current experience has been far from positive with them. read more

The owners of this site have put a lot of heart and soul into their business. Everything, and I mean everything is newly updated.The grounds are immaculate. The grounds are rustic, meaning rock, timber, desert-y! We stayed in a cabin and bedding, linens, towels are all new and fresh. Not a cobweb in site. They have swamp coolers in each cabin which do the job perfectly. They deliver a breakfast basket of goodies to the cabin each evening for the next morning. I think they might use a local bakery because the pastries in the basket were super delicious and fresh. One morning was apricot & cranberry scones... the next was chocolate chip ricotta muffin. They have a full showering area for tent campers equally clean. A play area for the littles... oh, and the stars at night are amazing! Lynette checked us in and was super helpful about eateries and the area too. Escalante Cabins and RV you have a wonderful place. Thank you for a great stay for the 2 nights.... read more

What a great place! I feel like we ended up here sort of by luck. We were planning to camp at Barkers, and I was googling the area and saw these available cabins... for such a reasonable price! So we invited my mother-in-law along and had a weekend trip. The reservation went off without a hitch. The place is easy to find and the accommodations are perfect. I felt like they rivaled the other cabins in the area and came out in the top spot. They seemed very new, well kept, and extremely clean. We had a great time and definitely plan to stay here again. read more

The campground was well taken care of and the bathrooms, showers, and laundry were very clean and well kept. The park is convenient to downtown and quiet during the evening in spite of it being close to the highway. We would gladly stay again! read more

We Could not have Picked A Better place our Cabin was spotless they have just about everything you need! We Spent some time Scouting and ended up Not Getting Back until very Late Upon arriving to our Cabin we Noticed a Breakfast Basket Blueberry Muffins , Coffee & Fruit along with what you would Need To Accent you Morning. This is my first time getting a cabin experience, and it is quite delightful. Located right outside the park at the edge of the village, you get the benefit of being close to some convenience, with the charm of seeing the stars at night. The cabins are clean and come with basic amenities. The TV is updated and you can log into netflix or whatever streaming service you use. Definitely remember to bring your own conditioner, if you use that. They even have a pleasant chocolate croissant for your breakfast in the morning! Escalante Cabins and RV Park were GREAT! We really enjoyed our 3 night camping stay here. The campsites were very nice, plenty of space for our huge tent. The bathroom facilities were amazing... definitely a step up from the camping pit toilets I'm used to... so that was really nice. The main building has great showers, laundry facilities and a place to wash dishes. Janae was a great host, very accommodating and made sure we had a great stay. We absolutely loved staying here in our camper van! We stayed here for three nights but would have loved to stay longer if we could. The location is on the western edge of Escalante, yet within walking distance to everything. The visitor center is right across the street so it was convenient to swing by and check for weather/hiking conditions, etc. The RV park is very well maintained with clean bathrooms and showers. We stayed in one of their hilltop cabins. When I checked in I fell in love after they handed me a basket with breakfast and coffee. The local handmade scones are some of the best I've tasted. Unfortunately they don't sell them, but fortunately we stayed two nights so I got more the second day. The cabin had a fire ring out back so we were able to still get a taste of camping. The cabin itself was the best part. Super clean and stocked with any cooking utensil or small appliance that you might need. We stayed in a little cabin at Escalante Cabins & RV Park and loved it. The cabin was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed. The cabin had a bathroom in it which was so awesome. Also came equipped with a small fridge and 3 camping chairs. The fire pit had a lot of room around it and there were great tables to eat at. Totally recommend this place! read more

Stayed for four nights in April 2019 in a pull-through spot. The park is on the west side of Escalante, a bit away from the main part of town (that's partly a joke, you can walk from one end of Escalante to the other in less than 15 minutes) so it feels quieter and more spacious. Park is across from the Escalante visitor center which is nice for getting information for your hikes. Hook-ups were all in excellent condition, great water pressure, and we had a nice big clean picnic table in our spot with grass. The park attracts other friendly and courteous rig owners. We met our neighbors before we could even hook up our water, and went to dinner with another neighbor one night. There's a few paths around the park for walking your pup as well. I loved my time in Escalante. If I return I'll definitely think of staying here again. read more

We stopped here on a whim during our first RV trip through GSENM (driving a compact 19-foot), and ended up returning a few days later because the facilities (bathrooms, showers, laundry) were so nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at EC&RVP. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners are obviously in the process of upgrading the park and it's facilities but what's there shows they're headed in the right direction. First of all, their customer service is top notch. They really went out of their way to accommodate us. They were very flexible on site selection and helped us with propane and guidance to local trails and points of interest. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were spotless and in excellent working order. My only suggestion would be to work on leveling some of the sites a bit more. Al-in-all this is a great park, and I would stay here again when in the area. read more

Very nice clean RV park. Located in Escalante near all the trails and amenities, and right across the street from the visitor center. The Park was Quiet and well laid out (all RV spots are pull through). They have 20/30/50 amp connections that are mid-site to allow easy use for any RV. You can tell the park is new and more improvements and expansions are underway. Unlike most RV parks the WiFi worked very well, we were even able to stream video. They have tent spots, cabins and RV spots to support a variety of campers. They have laundry facilities and showers on site. Making reservations online is easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. They do want you to register any pets (RV and tents only, pets not allowed in the cabins) but it was simple and we appreciated the effort. read more

I am not a camper, so chose to stay at the cabins here. What a great little cabin. It was clean, quaint and nice. Some of our group used the tent sites and the RV sites. The restrooms for tents and rv was super clean - shower clean and overall very nice. I would highly recommend this place to travelers who are campers, rv-ers or cabin folks! Also, in the cabin they left us baked goods from a local bakery - Mimi's every day - and I am HOOKED! So good! read more

While I didn't stay here at the park, my wife and I used the folks for laundry services and showers. Both reasonably priced and very clean! During our trip through Utah we came across many a dirty shower, but was impressed with the setup this park had. For laundry, I caution folks that they sell soap but they don't have dryer sheets. You can easily pick those up at the store down the street though. Would definitely recommend these folks for showers and laundry, and I assume a stay at the park as well! read more

We made a last minute change to our plans to visit Grand Staircase Escalante NM and Capitol Reef NP in June. Luckily Escalante Cabins had an open cabin that slept 5 at a reasonable price. We drove from Las Vegas and left later then we wanted, but luckily we got a call from Nancy (I think) at 7:30 and a txt when she didn't think we'd be there by 8 (we knew about the time change, but we drove through Bryce Canyon so stopped more than we should have....). She explained how we could get our paperwork for the room and how to find and get into the cabin. I thanked her and told her we probably wouldn't get there until 8:15. When we showed up, luckily she was still there so we sorted out the bill and got to our cabin. She also told us that restaurants close at 9 so we should leave now if we wanted food. THANK YOU Nancy! We chose Circle D and it was great. When we got back to the cabin and had a nice, quiet night in the cabin. There's plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids and plenty of plugs to recharge everything after the long drive. The cabin was very clean and we'd definitely return if/when we come back to explore Grand Staircase more. Thanks for all your help, advice and a great place to stay at a reasonable price. read more

So they created a spot for our trailer which was super nice of them. Even brought up a fire ring for us. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Great location. This was a GREAT place to stay with our 40-foot RV. The owners are extremely nice and took the time to answer questions we had about the area and nearby roads, etc. On our way to Escalante, we realized we'd be early- called the office, it was a Sunday morning so they were closed but Jenae texted me and was SO nice about letting us arrive early. They have been open for about a year, and all of the bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are brand new and VERY nice- the nicest I have seen at any RV park. They are still working to complete the park, but the sites are big, have all the hookups, and nice grass. Our dogs liked the fenced in, grassed dog park as well. They are building more cabins and have many tent sites. It was very quiet at night too! Thank you for a wonderful stay! read more

We stayed in the big cabin #28 on top of the hill! It was amazing!! Hardly a cabin, more like a small home! The decor was nice, up to date and seemed brand new. The views were amazing. Check in process was a breeze and they gave us two baskets with food goodies for us. Our family staying at other places in escalante also were amazed at what a great cabin we had! What an awesome cabin in the heart of the beautiful Utah mountains! Everything was new (stainless sink and appliances, island in the kitchen, wood stove, TV, Keurig coffee maker, glass-door shower, gliders on both outside porches, bedroom bench for suitcases, etc.). We felt like we had entered a "tiny house," and it was so well done--lots of windows to enjoy the gorgeous view! The owner handed us a breakfast basket of K-Kups, breakfast bars, make-in-a-mug coffee cakes, and fruit cups. This was our favorite place to stay while on our Utah trip. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. The town was very small--few choices to eat, and our service was very slow--but not the fault of this RV Park at all. We cooked in the cabin one night, and it was great--everything we needed was there. read more

What a fun stay! Easy late check in, perfect location for exploring. Loved Cabin #8--clean, cozy & comfortable for one night w/our family of 5, especially with the nice size fridge, comfy beds & a/c, and the snacks were a welcome & tasty surprise.
