This place has real chairs for people to sit in while getting a nice trim, unlike the so-called "barber shops" in Greenwood, that have terrible seating with half-back chairs and people cutting men's hair that do not know the first thing about how to use a set of clippers outside of turning them on(except maybe Lee's, but he has only 1 chair) Also, a nice straight edge clean-up to wrap it up, Tom's place gave me the best haircut I have had since I left the military years ago. I'd recommend Austin if you stop in, but I bet his father Tom or any of the other barbers in there would give you a quality haircut. The price is a smidge high, but when compared to what commercial barbers charge these days, it's about average ($15). It is well worth it to get a quality fade!

When I pulled up the page for this business, I was hesitant to write my review as it would be the…read moreonly review, and thus would create a solely negative reflection of the business. After careful consideration, I have determined that I am completely okay with that. After a poor estimation of time on my part, I found myself running an hour early this morning, and I decided I would have my nails redone. Since this salon is close to work I popped in. The two employees looked at me as if I walked in wearing a t-shirt bearing a middle finger made of phalluses. The male employee asked me very rudely what I needed and I told him that I was hoping to have acrylics done. He acted as though he didn't know what I was saying and shouted over his shoulder at the female in their native tongue. She yelled at me for not having an appointment and said she was too busy, despite the fact that 1.) nowhere on the door, window, or facade of the salon did it state "By Appointment Only" or anything of the sorts (I have never had an issue with walk-ins. Ever.), and 2.) the only two customers were literal children, no older than 8, and their mother. They need to either employ more technicians to allow more availability, or post on the window that their services are appointment only. They also need to learn some basic customer service and courtesy. This type of flagrant egregiousness is unacceptable for any business, and I would advise anyone to steer clear of these rude, unprofessional people.
