First time visiting and will definitely be returning. I didn't get the guys name (he told it to me but I never remember) but he was extremely personable and a great conversationalist. The guys here are absolutely the only ones to cut my boys hair they enjoy the barber shop and are the top priority when there. My four year old loves his barbers very much and they have a great relationship even at his young age.the haircuts are top notch and way better priced than a chain salon. Hands down the best real, old school type, barber shop in the valley. They have quality barber's that take pride in their job and have managed to maintain the old school feel when the rest have given in to present time. You won't find those shelves with fancy hair product's made by someone with a Latin name who you can barely pronounce, but you will find yourself involved in a conversation amongst friends about life. I am VERY meticulous about my hair, and finally found a great barber shop since the one my dad used to take me to, inside Smitty's Grocery store on Bell Rd. and I-17, back in the 80's. I picked this shop while I was in town for the holidays because it was close proximity to where we were staying, had mostly good reviews, decent prices, and offered full shaves. Well the latter left a lot to be desired. My haircut was great. The shave, not so much. I got a better shave the first time I ever shaved myself some 20 years ago. I expected a straight razor and found out halfway through that he was using a shavette. Which is a totally different animal. He used way too much pressure and I could feel the angle was off. Just a crappy shave. I got home and did some repair work and cleaned up what he missed, an entire swath on my jawline. Then tried my best to put some moisture back in my skin amongst all the weepers and nicks. Hard pass on the shave. read more

I have been going to my trusty hair stylist for the last 7 yrs. She has gotten completely slammed because of how good she is and sometimes I just cant wait. On top of this I decided to instead of shave my beard get it trimmed. So I decided to try out Beasleys... I haven't been to a barber shop since I was maybe 12, so I didn't know what to expect. I walked in and there was 3 guys sitting in their chairs just hanging out. The Older man looked at Rich, gave him a look and said "you can take him"... Rich was the guy to help me out this specific day. I kinda wondered what the look the old man gave rich was when he said "you can have him" was all about for a bit. After sitting down I looked into the "old mans" station and it was kinda hard to miss... He absolutely was infatuated with Trump, I mean Trump posters, articles, and even a Trump Pen with Trumps head on the top, I tried not to link the "look" and his "statement" to his love for Trump, but it was pretty hard not to... The old man had left and gone to a Closet/ office and I didn't see him again. Im all about expressing yourself, but when you are in the service industry, times like these are not the smartest time to choose a politician and then decide your work décor around that politician (again, everyone is free to like, and believe what they want. This is just my outlook on it). Aside from that Rich did a pretty good job, he was friendly and chatty, he missed a few spots on my beard, and my fade was a tad uneven. Needless to say, aside from feeling uncomfortable here the haircut and beard trim was mediocre... I learned my lesson. Next time I will wait for my trusted hair hair cutter. read more

I don't go to the barber often.Infact I havent been to a barber since I was 7, but I came here today with my brothers and these guys are Awesome, very friendly environment. Laid back and chilled out. Has a cowboy feel to it. They also do straight razor shaves. My brother got one and it looked great. It was a pretty far drive,but I don't care,this place is worth it. Stopped in to cut off my hair in bundles in order to donate it. The guys at the shop accommodated my request to bundle my hair and put each bundle in a bag to send to the donation center. My barber was easy to talk to during the process and very friendly. Thanks for the cut. read more

Came out here from LA for a sporting event and checked around for last minute cut. These guys are old school,, artisans of the hair. Clippers, straight edge, scissors. Not cut by the numbers. Good, fast and cheap, yup you can have all three. read more

I figured since the reviews were good that I would be happy. Quite the opposite. Is a simple high fade to much to ask? I guess so, since now I have to shave my head. I guess a high fade means a high and tight jar head style. I wanted to stay inside military regs is what I said. Well, the top is varying in length anywhere from 2 inches to .5 an inch. On top of it all they charge an extra 2 dollars to straight razor you....hmm I'm pretty sure everywhere else that's included. A waste of $18 How hard is it to find a decent barber in this town?! read more

I'm from out of town (SLC, UT) and went to Beasley's over the Thanksgiving Holiday, so I'd be ready for family pictures. I opted for a full shave of the head and asked my barber to trim the neckline and cheekline of my beard. He used an old school straight razor and did an AMAZING job! On top of that, I got stories of his childhood from when his father was a barber to legitimate cowboys! It was my first straight razor shave, but now that I'm back in Utah, I'm looking for a barber who does them near me! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting a more "old school" experience. read more

I am extremely serious about my hair and beard. I only go to a barber after researching several in a given area and reading yelp and google reviews. I found Beasley's after researching this old school barber shop. Two old dudes work here, the eldest having cut hair for forty years. For me, that equals someone who knows their trade and has earned mastery over their skills. I wear a taper/fade with side part and have several small requirements and details that are sometimes looked over by a lesser barber. The gentleman who cut my hair and also owns the place spoke with me at great length prior to me even having taken a seat. We reviewed pictures I brought in and he asked questions and listened when I instructed him as to this 30s revivalist style I've got going on up top. I'm growing my beard out but like it looking clean. He gave me a beard trim I had never thought about and now I'm going to always keep this style. An important component to a successful trip to the barber is for me to feel listened to and have dialogue with the person servicing me. Hey, it's my hair and I want to look good! This gentleman is exactly what I look for in a professional barber. Plus, the atmosphere is true old school barber shop with chairs from the turn of the century and the smells of a by-gone age. He even styled my hair using, of all things, castor oil pomade. Never seen that before but like it a bunch. He even told me how to style my handlebar mustache using wax. This will now be the ONLY place I frequent for my hirsute needs. read more

Just got back from Beasley's Barber Shop. What a cool, old-school Barber Shop. When I got there there wasn't a wait. Jumped in the chair and got a great haircut quickly. Friendly chat from the three barbers. Felt like it could have been a modern episode of Andy Griffith. Beasley's doesn't take appointments, so if there is a wait you draw a playing card from a shoe.
