My wife has a level 9 pain and we were told to rush to the ER. They promised to get her some Tylenols while we waited and it's been over an hour and they seem bothered every time I ask for an update on the Tylenol. The employee who we are dealing with is Claire T. She refuses to give us updates or a Tylenol and seems annoyed every time I ask. She suspected I took a photo of her and within minutes a PA, an RN and multiple security personal were available to address this "pressing" issue. They couldn't find anyone to get my wife a pain killer for over an hour or see us for 5 hours but had no problem providing an RN for over 20 minutes to discuss their policies relating to photos. I do not recommend this place. Other ERs in the area don't have wait times and are much more helpful. Update: it's now 6 hours and we haven't seen a doctor yet. Update: it's now 7 hours and we have yet to see a doctor

God forbid you have Multiple Sclerosis, which causes urinary urgency for my husband, and you have to make one extra stop on the way to your appointment than you had already planned for... and than have to use the restroom one last time on the first floor before going up to the second floor with your walker causing you to arrive for your appointment late to see your neurologist for this exact condition. They showed no compassion for everything it took you to trek across town in dreary rainy conditions with all of our health challenges and simply have no problem telling us you have arrived late you will need to make another appointment we cannot see you today. I explained our situation to them and they did not have any empathy for our challenges. All we got from the neurologist (doctor) , medical assistant and the front desk attendant were sorry that's our policy. As many times as we patiently sat waiting beyond our appointment time to be called back to be seen by this same medical staff we never once saw a sign warning us of this policy. I am disgusted by these apparent health care professionals.

During my November…read more2025 surgery at Corewell Beaumont Hospital my personal property disappeared from the Surgical Care Waiting Room. I've been trying, in vain, to get reimbursed ever since. Had my sister not rushed over on the day of discharge and brought me a new set of clothes, shoes and coat, I was afraid I may have gone home in my hospital gown. Until February 17, 2026 I had not even received a response from Beaumont Hospital-- Beaumont Hospital was ignoring me. However, before I went in for my scheduled surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Corewell Health notified me of their Estimated Hospital Fees, $82,000. But after my surgery, while repeatedly requesting replacement value for missing personal items ($729) while under Beaumont Hospital's care, they gave no response. Subsequently, multiple billing notifications continued to come through from Corewell Health demanding payment of a $26 balance. My loss was reported immediately during my hospital stay to the nurses, doctor, and security. The Beaumont Security Department had personally assigned a case number and an email address stating they would reimburse me. As requested, I emailed them my list of missing personal items and respective values NOT once, but 4 times. Beaumont Security never responded. On January 9, 2026, I called the Beaumont Patient Relations Department to report my still missing items and lack of response from Beaumont Security. They said they would respond in no later than 7 business days. But as of February 16, 2026, there was still no response, no update, or resolution from Patient Relations. I am not seeking special treatment--only reimbursement for items that went missing while I was under the hospital's care, and basic responsiveness from an institution that serves the public.

I've never seen a staff so eager to usher in a patient's final stage of life. A staff of draculas. Nurse Practitioners Nikki and Manny have some of the worst bedside manner I've ever witnessed and experienced. These people are offended when you expect them to do their job with the utmost care and concern. They were rude and combative the entire time. My dad went an entire day without a feeding tube unbeknownst to me. They simply did not care. I'm really regretful that my father took his last breath here. Horrible staff. Only three ICU nurses provided proper care. The rest need to get into door dashing.

I was in Mod A and this place helped me get back on my feet on my right mind. I thank both the staff and the fellow patients for being the joy back into my life. It is very strict and regimented but it's for a reason. I would recommend this place to anyone going through a very hard time.

After experiencing a fall, and a brief stint at another hospital, my mother entered Oakland Regional Hospital on 4/10/18 for physical therapy. After about a week, she was able to stand and walk 20 to 40 feet. She was then relocated to another floor for continued therapy and that's when the downhill spiral began. The nurses were good but the aides were abysmal. The expression that you're only as good as your weakest link is so very true and Oakland Regional Hospital certainly proved that. Being tender and sore after her fall my mother said and I quote "They handled my like a rag doll". When I complained to administration, it seemed that her treatment just got worse. In summary, by the time my mother left on 5/22/18, she was unable to stand much less walk.
