If you are looking for a great pediatric dentist, look no further. Dr. Steckler and his staff are…read moreso kind and gentle. While my children were getting their teeth cleaned, another family arrived. The littler boy was very shy and the dental hygienist went out of her way to make him comfortable. Safety measures are in place at this office. You must call when you arrive to limit capacity and for COVID-19 screening questions. When the staff is ready for you, you walk inside and get your temperature checked. Everyone is spaced apart and dividers are in place to ensure patients are separated from one another. While there is usually a play room and lots of old and new video games, they have all been removed due to COVID-19. I look forward to their return one day. Nonetheless, this is still a very kid friendly space.

My son has now been coming here for about two years for twice yearly check-ups! I am impressed with the friendly staff, the facility, and Dr. Steckler himself! The waiting room includes a sea-themed playroom for kids attached to the typical waiting space. The staff is always happy and able to help in any way they can. Dr. Steckler is very friendly and personable (on our last visit, he noticed my son's new light-up shoes and got him excited), completely understands kids, and is very easy-going. I also love that all dental work is done in one open room, so everyone can see everything going on and it cuts back on any unease for kids and parents. After the appointment, kids get to pick a small toy and a toothbrush, which is always fun! My kid always leaves with a smile.

Very disappointing experience overall…read more We spent more than 1.5 months trying to get dental treatment completed for our daughters, but after multiple appointments, delays, rescheduling, and excessive waiting, no treatment was ultimately completed at all. Several visits involved waiting 30-60+ minutes past the scheduled appointment time. One sedation appointment was even moved by the office shortly beforehand without properly discussing it with us, despite the fact that our child had to fast before the procedure. The worst experience happened on the day of the sedation appointment. After already waiting over an hour with a hungry child who had not been allowed to eat, we were told it was "normal" to wait several more hours. At that point, we decided to leave rather than make our child continue fasting and waiting indefinitely. A few days later, instead of addressing the scheduling and communication problems professionally, we received a mailed letter stating the office would no longer see our children as patients. Unfortunately, rather than taking responsibility for the repeated scheduling delays, excessive wait times, and communication issues, the office chose to terminate care for our children after we raised concerns about the situation. As parents, we expected professionalism, communication, reasonable scheduling, and basic respect for families' time. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

From the front desk employee who greeted you as you came in, to the polite girl who did my son's x-ray to Bre who made my son feel comfortable while he was talking her ear off because he was nervous. I can't say enough about this practice. My son had a pretty bad loss to his two front teeth and Dr. Jackson made it look as if it never happened. The biggest part was how good they were to Bren. He was so nervous/scared but they made him feel at ease. I can't say enough about this dentist office. We will be seeing this group for a long time!
