I'm visiting family for the holidays and thought I'd have my nails done. This place was nearby and there was no wait when I got there. However the manicure itself was not a relaxing experience. I wanted gel and they gave me a book of two pages to choose from, even though they had the rings full of them at the front. When I told the guy I wanted a bright red for the holidays (which there wasn't an option for) he told me he would bring one. Why can't I see what you have and pick out the color myself? Then I was nicked several times while he was cleaning up my cuticles, but once was the worst I've ever been cut and would not stop bleeding. I probably should have left honestly, because instead of applying pressure and waiting for a few minutes for the bleeding to stop, he put some liquid on it and kept going... and it kept bleeding. I'm still trying to get it cleaned up and wearing a band aid over that finger to keep it clean and the antibiotic ointment on. That's not the look I was going for for my holidays nails at all. I also had originally asked for glitter, which he applied and told me was no charge due to cutting me, but I also didn't get to pick that color, so I'm glad I didn't have to pay lol. Overall it would have been a very weird experience even without being cut, but that just pushed it over the edge. I wouldn't be interested in returning. read more

I used to consistently go to another nail salon in town. After reading some reviews & seeing photos online, I booked a same-day appointment online at Beaute Nail Spa for after work (was late to my appointment I might add), and was helped almost immediately. I was looking for a style I had never done before and showed Jenny a picture. She said she could do it, helped me choose colors, and got started right away. She did a colorful gel French manicure on my natural nails AND changed my toe polish in under an hour--with no imperfections. Speedy and great quality! She was kind and carried on conversation. Do not go to this salon. I went for dip nails and pedicure . During the pedicure the man doing the pedicure cut into my big toe and ripped the side of my nail out from top to bottom. It hurt and bled so bad I would not let him do anything else to my feet although he put a liquid on the side and tried to get it to stop bleeding . He did my nails which are bubbled and rough ... the whole time trying to tell me that my toe would stop bleeding . I took my daughter in law there that was getting her nails done at the time or I would have immediately left . In all it was a horrible experience and I will not go back . It's 3 days later and I am just now able to put a shoe on without pain . Please do not go here ... it's not worth it . read more

Had a horrible experience today with Henry. When I told him he was being rough and that he had hurt me a couple of times he remarked that my cuticles were really bad and referred to my feet as chicken feet. The woman sitting next to me indicated that did not seem like a good way to do business or treat your customers, he proceeded too shoot us both s***** looks for the rest of the procedure. As he was finishing he made a couple of snarky remarks about how my feet looked like human feet now. I paid $45 for the crystal jelly pedicure which lasted all of 32 minutes. At $84/hr I would expect you to be courteous and polite even if I walk in with feet looking like a hobbit. I'll drive the extra distance to use another salon where hopefully The service I'm paying for is courteous and friendly. read more

The guy at the first manicure table was so rough on my nails. I asked for dip powder with tips and after he made sure that was what I wanted he did not do it. Instead he did acrylic. He cut my cuticle and made me bleed. I asked for a light pink (bubble bath), and the color was almost clear. Not to mention the whole time I was sitting there he kept getting distracted on his phone. When I left around my nails were red and my cuticle was still bleeding. You could see air pockets all in them, and they all came off within a week. read more

I moved to Decatur at the beginning of the year, & have been trying to find a local nail shop I like. This place is by far my favorite in the area. The facility is new, and very clean. They use new packaged tools for each service, and sink protectors in the pedicure tubs. The staff is always friendly, and consistently provide excellent service. I have not once felt cheated in my foot massage length during my pedicure. The services are fairly priced, and my favorite is the Pamper me Pedicure. I think it's awesome that they carry local products for sale, and support their surrounding community. All in all this place is great & you should give it a try! read more

The owner "Henry" is so busy getting people in and out that he doesn't care if he makes you bleed! He cut me not once or twice but three times then said he was making sure I didn't get any hangnails! I waited almost three hours to get my service FINISHED! I didn't want to leave in the middle of getting my nails done so I endured it. No, I didn't leave a tip nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone! read more

I went here early July to get my nails done before vacation. I've been getting my nails done in acrylics and dipped many times before but this was by far the worst experience. At first the nails looked nice-- i got them dipped in white, it didn't look as nice as when i normally get them done but i wasn't complaining. When they started to come off of my nails this last week was when the horror started. My nails were thin and flimsy and looked like a shredder had been taken to them. Never going back. read more

This place should be shut down. I came here for a simple pedicure and full set white tips. Pedicure was painful... but not the worst part. My nails were a nightmare. She hurt me so much. She made my nails so thin that they burnt the whole time. I could barley stand it. I told her it hurt multiple times. When she started doing the acrylic nails she put the acrylic ALL OVER MY FINGER. It wasn't just on the nail it was on my skin. After the acrylic was set she stabbed her fingers all around the acrylic trying to get my skin off it and it was so thick and painful she was unsuccessful. The whole experience was an entire nightmare. They were HORRIBLE looking and extremely painful. It felt like they were trying to hurt me and make them as ugly as they possibly could. When she started I asked for a matte top coat and she put a gloss on and I told her after one finger I wanted matte. She continued to paint on the gloss top and then another man walked over and looked at my nails and said they look good do you like them? I said they're ok. Because I'm not one to complain and at that point I just wanted to get out as soon as I could. After she finished the gloss she put matte over the top but she didn't even paint the whole nail. Half my nail was gloss half was matte it just made it look that much worse. This was the most painful and horrible experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Please do not go here. These people are mean and don't care about their customers. Bubble nails is just across the road and I've never had a bad experience there. Unlike beaute nails everytime I've been there it's been not great... and this painful nightmare was my last time EVER!! To top it off I had green nasty infection coming out of my skin around my nails a week later.. the pain didn't stop at the salon. If I didn't have two young kids waiting for me at home I would have went some where else immediately to have them removed. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

Normally I'd give 3.7ish stars, but my most recent visit will be my last. I simply came in to get a dip manicure as my nails are a bit weak from my previous dip, and I didn't want to do gel. The staff chose to argue with me about MY color choice, which was the 3rd color I picked because the 2 before that they "didn't have". Shaping was near perfect, and color was the exact natural nude I was looking for (as required for work) but the Tech couldn't stop laughing at me about my choice. On multiple occasions she pulled the other 3 techs working this day over to laugh in point with them. When I finally asked what the problem was a gentleman doing pedicures proceeded to argue with me that they "have over 2000 colors" and "I should pick a different one". Not sure why you offer these 2000 colors if you are just going to deny that you have them, or laugh about someone's choice in color. I understand you don't want bad promotion from a picture, but in my opinion it was a good very natural/nude color. I couldn't believe how rude they were because my past experiences were not like this. I've had the owner repair a acrylic nail that was too thin and broke the same day and he was very accommodating. This day seemed like everyone's off day so they felt they could treat the guests however they wanted. read more

The jelly pedi was amazing and Henry was over the top with his professional skills and his kind manner. The shop is clean and offers a large selection of color choices. My mom and I came to this nail salon and my lady was really sweet and did a nice job but the lady next to us was very rude to an elderly women. She was trying to get a pedicure and the women that was doing it told her not to cry and then the women said that her foot was burning, she had a bag with stuff inside of it because it was part of the pedicure and the worker said nothings in it your fine. She said more rude stuff but she would not even let the lady have hot water she said that they are out of hot water. read more
