After waiting 35 minutes past our scheduled time, my son had still not been called back for his haircut. If the shop is unable to accommodate appointments at 30-minute intervals, those time slots should not be offered on the booking system. Scheduling appointments creates an expectation that customers will be seen within a reasonable timeframe. Many of us plan our day around these commitments, and waiting 40 minutes past an appointment time--followed by an additional wait for the service itself--is unacceptable. Due to this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business. It is especially disappointing given the limited options available in Jarrell.

This has always been my favorite nail salon because the quality of their work is excellent, and even when they're busy, they've always managed to provide great service. That's why today's experience was so disappointing. I called ahead and made an appointment for both a gel SNS manicure and a gel pedicure. When I arrived, the salon was busy, which I completely understand. However, no one asked if I had an appointment--they simply told me to have a seat. A few minutes later, another customer walked in and asked me if there was a wait because she didn't have an appointment. I explained that I wasn't sure because I had called and made an appointment for both services. She then spoke with the staff, mentioning that she had also made an appointment around the same time, and they seated her before me. I had to speak up and remind them that I also had an appointment before they finally attended to me. They started with my pedicure, but after it was finished, they completely forgot about my manicure. I politely reminded them, and they asked if I could come back tomorrow. I had to explain three separate times that I specifically made an appointment for both services today because I could not come back another day. Eventually they squeezed me in, but by then I had already been at the salon for nearly two hours. They asked if I could continue waiting for a station, and I agreed because I understand that mistakes happen. I had to tell them over 4 times which colors and that it was the powder not the polish. Once I was finally seated, they removed my polish, then moved me to another chair, and ultimately skipped the actual manicure service entirely, only completing the SNS application. At that point, I had been in the salon for almost three hours and just wanted to be finished. What hurt the most wasn't the mistake--it was the lack of communication and accountability. At no point did anyone sincerely apologize for the confusion, the delays, or forgetting an entire service that I had scheduled. Instead, I was handed a bottle of lotion and a piece of chocolate after mentioning it was my birthday. While I appreciate the gesture, it didn't make up for the fact that I had to cancel my birthday dinner because I spent nearly three hours at the salon. This experience left me feeling incredibly disappointed and honestly heartbroken because I've supported this business for years. I know they're capable of providing amazing service, which is exactly why this experience was so upsetting. I will likely continue coming because I've had so many positive experiences in the past, but I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. While the staff members are kind, it seems they force their own idea of what you should do with your hair onto you. After the first time of them doing that to me earlier this year, I thought "maybe it was just this stylist?" so I went again recently. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. My bangs were cut shorter than I asked, and they are very obviously crooked. It has ruined 4 special events that I was part of this week. I didn't even want to go to one I had today, just because I was embarrassed of how all my photos were turning out with such a terrible haircut. ---------- I went in and asked for my bangs to just be shaped - no dramatic length change. I was at a loss of words whenever I was turned around to look at my reflection and see that I got something completely different from what I had asked. The stylist seemed excited, and I just looked at her in disbelief. She asked if I wanted her to change anything, but you can't paste hair back on, so I mustered out a stoic "no"...didn't want more of my hair to be butchered off. Hair grows back, I get that, but I specifically went here to get my bangs shaped for special events that I knew I was going to be photographed multiple times for. Little did I know it was going to ruin my memory of each one.
