So as a Houston braider of over 15years It's very important to find a good recommendation of beauty supply for my clients to get their braiding hair. However, I find out my clients get frustrated once they get to the beauty supplies and change their minds about getting their hair braided. What?! That was not good for business. So I decided I'd go get products myself for my clients. (Some new clients would have thought I was trying to get a cut or inflate the prices but I didn't care, you not about to change your mind or bring me some crap that's not good for your hair woman!).. I digress Many research when I moved to the Katy area proved why my clients would walk out in frustration. From being eyeballed as if I wanted to steal some 50c hairbows, to being completely ignored, to being given smart/sassy answers to my maybe stupid questions (I mean let's face it sometimes we may still need a little guidance even when we know exactly what we want when we walk into the beauty supply , men you're on this table too so stop laughing) ... to being lied to about what product I asked for (I mean I asked for jerry curl weaving hair and she tried to sell me freetress crochet hair, then told me maybe my hairstylist is not good for me and to try somewhere else cos that's good hair... I thought I was gonna have a heart attack). Just say you don't have it! ‍ Then I found one, kind of decent but 45mins away but definitely didn't mind till she got the sales girl from hell. I could go on and on but fast forward to the day I walked into beautiful bridge. I remembered I was feeling so down that day and saying my prayers in my car asking for favor (on a totally unrelated issue)... something told me to walk in after buying my tacos across the street. I walked in and this man said 'hellooo!' Naturally the hello was so nice and vibrant my dull self had to lighten up and return a cheerful 'hi!' Then I asked the question even I thought was reaaally stupid but flew out of my mouth before I could catch myself 'what the best product for natural hair when braiding to reduce the fuzz' (the words came out and my brain gave myself this emoji right here ‍). He's a guy first of all and not a braider, how would he know?! His response was ' well I can't say for sure but we sell most of this right here' then took me to it! SOLD! The point was that he didn't say 'aisle 12!' I felt like I was home! Then I met his wife and omg let me just keep it going with the service because her personality could write a novel and I really want to keep this epistle short whatever Moving on... they make house calls if you're close enough to the area! I don't have to stop working! They'll deliver!!! I love you Jesus. I could go on but I just want to say this is a great place and you're always welcome. You never again have to have a panick attack just to go to a beauty supply. They've got the best selections of good products and not only products with the best commissions for them (I know this because they ask from hairstylists what products they don't have on their shelves and stylists like to use and I'd tell them and they'll go stock up!). They care about people of all color and that's half of what I've got to say. Maybe I'll write another review just to complete my thoughts. Happy shopping at beautiful Bridge! read more

This is a different kind of Beauty Supply for sure. I went into the store with the intentions of only purchasing shampoo, but that is not all I walked out with. The owner came over, and it was like we were instant friends. She was very knowledgeable about the beauty industry from makeup, to hair products, and wigs. Let me tell you I have NEVER considered purchasing a wig. I mean NEVER, but I walk out of there with a beautiful wig, and a bag full of other beauty products.
