Over priced - Bad design - Worse quality - no refunds? I just needed a fill. I asked for orange tips and had a reference photo. Instead Ty painted my nails with this awful green magnet polish - I told her I didn't like the color she had me pick a new one. I told her I wanted the orange I picked out. She kept painting what she wanted. I said screw it, a fill only lasts me 2-3 weeks I can deal with ugly nails. But when all my nails are lifting less than 20 hours later I have a problem. I called and they asked me to come in. I asked for a refund but she said she could fix it. I don't have 3 hours on a Tuesday morning for her "fix" them. I asked for a refund multiple times and was told no. So warning spend $100 on a fill with a design you didn't ask for and in less than a day they'll all start coming up. read more

Took my daughters in for nails for my oldest's 16th birthday. She wanted acrylics and my younger daughter and I got pedi's. Thankfully they got us right in since we had limited time. Our pedi's were as expected. My daughters acrylics looked fine, but when we got on the road she said "I wish I was bolder and I would have had them fix one". She had asked for pink tips and one of the tips was painted way off to the side. We could have had them fix it, but by the time she said it we were too far and needed to keep going. Basically, not our first choice (they were closed) but did fine in a pinch. read more

I went one time about 1/2 hour from closing so when my toenail polish chipped after less than a week I figured they were in a rush my fault. I went back yesterday in the middle of the day woke up the AM and there is a chip on one of my toenails less than 24 hours later. No thanks. read more

went to this establishment tonight to treat my mother to a pedicure for her birthday, while i got a manicure. i did not realize until leaving that we showed up a little over an hour before they closed. however, that will never be an excuse for poor service. we were basically rushed out of the building. i got a gel manicure with a very simple swirly line design, and it is HORRIBLE work. the lines are smudged and not the same width throughout. my tech, linda, redid a few nails but spent most of my appointment laughing in my face and giggling about her mistakes. i left extremely unsatisfied and it was very clear to all of the staff. also, before the top coat was even put on my nails, the tech working on my mother decided to come sit across from me and ask for the payment over and over and over. this seemed EXTREMELY unprofessional and it was very clear that we were not welcome. this is my hometown and i am visiting for the holiday and its so disappointing to see what the service places in this town have come to. do better. read more

I came to this salon for the first time this week and it was not what I was expecting. I got a regular manicure and the gel polish on my toes changed. My manicure was rushed my my left index finger was cut open. For my polish I got French tip gel and had red gel on previously, my red polish was not removed fully and I can see it under my new polish, when she was removing the previous gel she cut multiple of my toes and the shaping job was horrible. I should have done more research before choosing a nail salon in this area. read more

Best nail salon in the Alton/Godfrey area. I don't need to get my nails done often but when I do they can fit me in. As far as attention to detail they are also #1 for the area. I make sure to tip well because of that too. I will also dote on the pedicures and gel nail polish. They will definitely set you up for those summer sandals! read more

Overpriced and terrible service. I had a nice massage with my pedicure but when I got home I thought all of my toes were bleeding. They weren't, it was actually my old red polish that hadn't been fully removed. My daughter had her nails painted and the polish was horrendous. They did offer to fix it and just pained right over them. They were so lumpy at that point we took her to another local salon to fix them and they couldn't believe how bad they were. I went here for an acrylic removal and gel manicure. Prices are great. Very organized. Everyone was friendly and nice, and were very gentle on the nails. They have an excellent selection for colors and is quite beautiful and spacious inside the salon. I would definitely recommend coming here! update, 7/26/21 i came in almost a week and a half ago for a fill in and gel pedicure, no complaints on the nails as usual, i used to always get pedicures here as well but after my last experience on 7/16/21 i will not be getting pedicures here anymore, i got a smoothing pedi and she was rushing my feet in and out of the water, i felt like i was riding a bike LMAO, barely let them soak at first like they usually did, i set my feet in and roughly 1 minute later she was back to start, she took 21 minutes total on my gel polish smoothing pedicure. (rushing)?? On average it usually took them 30-40 minutes every previous time i've gotten a pedicure here, i left with lotion still not rubbed all the way into my legs either, i had white lotion streaks. (rushing). my polish is already beginning to chip off on two toes, which normally, does not chip until the 4-5th week i have had the pedicure. she did well with my cuticles, i will give her that. my cuticles is all i will give her good credit for. i still tipped and just left. no more pedis for me here, only nails. read more

I have always came here to get my nails done, and they have done an awesome job every time. That is until the last two times. I got a pedicure in May and they ended up giving me a toe infection. Then the last time I was there before Thanksgiving I received a manicure. Well when I got my manicure she used an electric buffering tool (I get regular polish every time) had no idea why she did that it took off the top layer of my real nail and hurt like hell. Have been going here for many years and was pretty much satisfied. Recent visits have not been quite as good since the departure of nail technician "Penny" and her mother "Mary." They always went the extra mile. A couple of months ago when attempting to make an appointment I was told Penny was on vacation, only to find out when I got there that she and her mother had been "let go" because of complaints. I don't know where the complaints came from as Penny especially was always busy. When getting powder dip manicures recently, technician was too quick to file off old polish rather than soak off with acetone, which I didn't like since I have thin nails. I may be looking elsewhere after all these years unless things improve. read more

For a remedial pedicure experience, this is the place. I don't speak the language my pedicurist and her fellow employees do, but they were very clearly making fun of another customer that came in after me. That's rude. If I could have negative stars I would. Deceitful practices. Asked for ombré dip as gel is extremely hard on nails. She dipped one nail and asked if it looked nice. It did. However, when continuing the "dip" process, it seemed like gel. I was told that mine were thick so I believed, incorrectly, that they did less "dips" for a more natural look. Wrong! They gave me gel nails. Which I realized when they had me put my nails under the uv light. When I returned home I still felt so deceived I called and complained aggressively. They told me to return and they would give me my money back. I returned and they expected me to allow them to soak off the nails she had put on me. No. I think not. I do not want them touching my hands again. And I might as well enjoy this while it lasts because my own nails will be ruined until they completely grow out. Do not go there. Do not trust them. This is my regular place to go for manicures and pedicures. Have always been well satisfied because of their quick, well done manis and pedis. However, today I think I got a newby and it took over 2 hours for both; normally takes an hour. Plus I had to remind her to put the top coat on one hand of my gel manicure (which she insisted she did). I've been there three times for nails and two fills. The second visit was the only one I was pleased with. The first and last times, I was never asked what shape I would like for my nails; they just started shaping to their own liking. This last time, after the lady started shaping as SHE wanted instead of asking what I would like, I asked her if she would round them at the edges. She nodded almost imperceptibly and I could tell she was annoyed. I still was not pleased with the shape after she was finished. I also had brought my own nail color, and she tried to get me to choose another color because the color I brought was the same color she was removing from my nails and she didn't like how hard the color was to remove. Nice. More importantly, she sighed frequently and looked annoyed the entire time. I have made my last trip there.
