First visit I had a great time, a younger gal (super friendly and sweet) helped me with my nail growing journey (remember this) and gave me care recommendations as well. I got in quickly and did not have a long wait time. I was excited to go back as I was new to town. The second trip I had a decent wait time, this time I was helped my an older gentleman who was far less friendly. I did not think much of it initially but the longer the visit became the more uncomfortable I became. He was very to the point and rough with my hands. Again, they were slightly busy so I did not think much of it. He asked what shape I wanted and I said almond. He shaped the first nail (pinky) and asked if it looked good. I asked for it to be a little more round (he had them slightly pointy similar to stelleto). He corrected it and got to the second nail. He shaped the second nail and I realized he was making them just round and I wasn't happy with the shape. I asked if he could make them more almond shape and that I did not love the round shape he was making them. He dropped my hand and in the most disrespectful tone possible said " You said round." (I AM A SHY PERSON BY THE WAY, ONLY THIS YEAR HAVE I FOUND THE CONFIDENCE TO SAY I DONT LIKE SOMETHING IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY INSTEAD OF JUST DEALING WITH SOMETHING I DONT LIKE THAT I PAY FOR) shocked as I am, I corrected his incorrect statement "I asked for them to be a little more round" his response was " then why did you say this one (grabs my pinky shaking it) looked good when I asked?" fair question. the pinky looked good, the second did not. I answered "because that finger looks good." he said "yeah it looks good we go round." I take my hand, at this point about to cry and contemplating walking out (never done that) "no i dont want round nails." " so you want them to be square?" he says. MIND YOU WHOLE TIME THERE IS A PICTURE OF NAILS AND NAIL SHAPES ON THE WALL NEXT TO US.... "No i want them almond shaped, I do not want them flat on top of to have 90 degree angles, i do not want square nails." I should have left because the man proceed to file all my nails down to nothing and make them round. (remember how i mentioned my nail growing journey) sounds silly but I was devestated. I used to never take care of myself and get my nails done and this was such a big thing for me to do and enjoy myself. Unfortunately, instead of saying anything I allowed him to finish. On the verge of tears the rest of the visit I did not say another word. I had a pedicure the same time and the lady did well, did not talk except to ask for color and try multiple times to upsell a more expensive package. Her work was fast and felt rushed but toe nails looked good. Was less than relaxing. After this service I cried in my car. Would not recommend this place unless its a last resort. easy parking immediately greeted walked in for a pedi and was immediately sat. Sam did my pedicure. She was fast and friendly but also have a good massage and painted my toenails beautifully. I was very disappointed that she only does pedicures because of the quality of her work. The facility was clean and I know going during the week i can get in and out. read more

I walked in at 6:45 and they closed at 7:30 but they still accommodated me for my gel manicure . The technician did a great job at shaping and polishing and moisturizing my hands. It was well worth the money and I appreciated that they got me right in! read more

I've been coming here for years for my pedicures. I'm not sure about anything else but their pedicures are amazing! They offer A LOT more than any other place around and for the price, you can't go wrong! I always get the "special" which is normally $40, but has been $30 for the last year or so. You pick your scent and they do the rest. It includes everything from callous removal (the scraper which I LOVE, but you can opt out) to a wax ending ! I usually get gel polish which is an extra $10. They also have the most amazing "spaceship" body massaging chairs that you can sit in for 20 minutes after your service. I'm not sure why more people aren't coming here for pedis but they need to be! At the local nail shop here in Edwardsville, a pedicure that includes all that will easily cost $60. Oh and due to covid, they all wear masks and require masks as well. Been here a handful of times for a full set and a couple pedicures and they always get me in quickly and do a great job.

Eh. Waste of money and time. They still use razors and graters on feet. Which are TERRIBLE for your feet. I requested for her not to use them and was looked at like I was crazy. I got the basic pedicure which was supposed to include a massage. Well, I didn't get one. A basic pedicure took almost 2 hours and they were NOT busy! Don't come here if you're in a hurry. The staff wasn't friendly. The massage chairs are nice but that's pretty much the only thing I have positive to say about this place. I won't be back. read more

This is a great hidden gem in Collinsville. My daughter and I have been regulars here since we moved to area. They have quick service compared other local salons and very friendly staff. The quality of the pedicures and manicures is always good. And to end they've got great massage chairs to wait in while nails dry. read more

While visiting our daughter over the weekend, we decided on a family pedicure. We selected Relax Nails due to the previous review and feedback. The family consensus afterwards was "best pedicures EVER!" We opted for the deluxe (at a very reasonable price) and received the royal treatment. The additional touches of the collagen socks and hot stone massage were fantastic, and on top of it we enjoyed complimentary drinks while watching college football! Visited right at opening on Sunday, 11/19/2017 and explained that I wanted a manicure with clear polish/top coat. The nail tech with the glasses and the bob-like haircut said ok. There were already two customers being getting manicures by the two only nail techs, so I proceeded to take a seat. I then see the nail tech with the glasses get on the phone. She was speaking in her native language, so I can only assume she was checking to see what time another tech would be coming in. Shortly there after, one of the customers is moved to a pedicure chair, and the tech with the glasses begins on my manicure. The nail tech barely spoke to me and never told me her name, although the nail tech did speak when the other nail tech, a man (who I think is the owner), finally arrived, she spoke to him in their native language. Strike 1. I felt like the whole experience was rushed. Two additional customers had walked in during my service, so I felt like the nail tech was neglecting me in order to service them. The nail tech even brought out ice cold soapy water for my manicure. After dipping my first hand into the bowl, I let her know the water was cold. The nail tech is like ok, and motions for me to enter my second hand into the water. I'm like no, and she then dips my second hand into the water. Later on, I'm asked to wash my hands, and I notice my nails are different lengths and shapes. Remember the nail tech didn't speak to me much so she didn't ask/care how I wanted my nails shaped. I get back to the chair and ask the nail tech to make the nails the same length and correct the shape. She is like yeah yeah and blows me off. She corrects the length, but the shape is still off. Strike 2. Irritated at this point, I was asked to pay for my $12 mediocre manicure before polishing begins. I oblige and handover my credit card. She polishes my nails and ask me to sit them in front of a small fan for 5-10 minutes. I then ask do you all service younger people (all of the other customers were older (50+) women? The nail tech says yes. I then ask do you have a drying table with the fans (more than 1 fan) and UV lights? She says no and points to the fan. I'm like oh. At this point, the man/owner chimes in and says it's $10 extra for gel if you want your nails to dry faster. Looking confused, I say ok, but FYI the drying table is something that younger people expect. He then proceeds to tell me that it's not faster with the drying table and then tries to argue with me. I cut him off and let him know that he was being rude and should focus on the client in his chair. Strike 3. In the end, I don't know if it was a language barrier, or this particular shop thinks it ok to do/say whatever they want, but they won't be getting another dime from me. My advice to them: be polite, do work that you can be proud, and learn to take constructive criticism. read more
