Really nice salon. The location makes it hard to find but once you do- you will love it. I had Christy do my all over color and she did a great job. I let her do what she thought was best and it came out awesome. The product they use smells amazing and gives you great volume. The only negative: My biggest pet peeve is when you walk in somewhere and no one greets you or says Hi. I stood there at the desk with 3 women staring back at me until I said "Hi I am here for Christy". And bonus...they offer just about everything you could want. Eyelash extensions, hair extensions, facials, manicures, pedicures, typical salon stuff like cuts and color, and more! This salon is a hidden gem, so I'm not surprised if you haven't yet visited them. They're tucked away in the Target/Petco parking lot off Main Street. The saloon has had a major revamping while under the new management and its even cuter! I didn't think that was possible. The decor and the staff are so trendy. Not at all impressed with my haircut. And unfortunately I don't live in the area to be able to come back and get it fixed. The right side of my hair is at least 2 inches longer than the left side. And my stylist used thinning shears with reckless abandon and wrecked my hair! I would be a little concerned about the quality of the stylists there. I wish I could remember the name of the gal who cut my hair so I could put fair warning out. Definitely one of the worst haircut I've ever received! In the picture, I have not curled my hair at all. I just dried it. And you can see how long one side is compared to the other. This haircut is only two weeks old, and now I need to find a stylist in my area who can fix it. read more

I prefer Monica for my underarm waxes ($20). She is thorough yet quick. I'm usually in and out in less than 20 minutes. She typically works Thursday mornings and all day Saturdays. Leilani is also great. They accomodate walk ins but prefer you call ahead for an appointment, even if you just give an hour's notice. I have such a dilemma about this place. Last year I was in a wedding and the bride paid for us to all get our hair done. We were each set up with our own appointment and stylist. I have a nick name, and a given leagal name. The bride gave my nickname for my appointment. We all arrived at the same time and the woman at the counter called everyone but me, I guess we were in a group? Obviously I was with the group. Everyone went off except for me. I was left standing there like a fool and everyone at the counter had left. A few moments later the girl at the counter came back and ignored me. I walked up to her and she immediately met me with rudeness asking what I was doing and what I needed very harshly. At this time another older woman walked up. I explained I was with the bridal party. They insisted that I did not have an appointment and almost told me they could not take me (the bride made the appointment!!!). Finally, the found me under my nickname. I think had to wait almost 20 mins for my stylist to be done with a manicure. I was the last girl done and the entire bridal party had to wait for me. The woman who did my hair was great. She was friendly and upbeat. She did a fantastic job on my hair, the curls lasted until the next day and I did not have a difficult time pulling the pins out. In May my fiance bought me a gift card here, on accident. I hinted that I wanted a mani pedi from the nail salon across the street. Nevertheless, I called to schedule a mani and pedi as I was going on vacation soon. The tween that answered the phone was obnoxious. She had no appointments for the time I needed. When I was asking for additional dates she says " Ugh! I already told you no, that's not available!" I told her I would call back. I called back the next day AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW they had time available for me. When I asked if there had been cancellations I was told no.... they were never booked up. So, I got my mani pedi by the same woman that did my hair for the wedding. Again, very nice, professional and just so fun to talk to. I had money left over on my gift card so a few months after my mani and pedi I got a hair cut. It was okay - I don't normally go to this place for my hair but I figured why not since I had a gift card. The girl that did my cut was okay. It wasn't the best cut that I've had. All in all, this place is okay. Everyone that works here is good looking and a little stuck up, except for the lady that did my hair and nails, she wasn't stuck up at all. If anything she is too good for this salon. Unfortunately I won't come back here. I am getting married in April and I will not be coming here for my hair or my bridal party. I like to go to a salon where I feel welcomed and accepted. I don't get warm friendly feeling here. read more

There are many times when I get the idea that I need a change. I want my hair cut and colored at the spur of the moment. Well thankfully, I have been going to Tania for over five years and she is always willing to help! No matter what, she finds a way to fit my appointments in to her schedule, even if she has to stay late or come in early! That kind of Customer Service, commitment and hard work is very difficult to find these days! Tania is the QUEEN of color! She always has the solution to all my problems. I have too many greys. She covers them up, matching my color perfectly. My hair is too dull! She can make it glossy. My hair is too damaged. She works her magic and makes it healthy! I dyed my hair using box color when I was in a pinch, which I will NEVER do again! She doesn't judge or scold you like most hair stylists would! I don't know how many times I have sat in her chair and said, "I have no idea what I want to do, I just know I need a change." I like to think she takes that as a challenge. And let me tell you, she always wins! I am always getting compliments on my color. Most often, from complete strangers. People have stopped me on the street to tell me that my hair looks great. I have never had a better hair stylist. Not to mention, Tania is super friendly and so easy to talk to. I could sit in her chair for hours (and I sometimes do!) and the time flies by. She is super helpful and always teaches me something new. She taught me how to use a round brush, which straightener is best for my hair and what shampoo will keep my color lasting the longest. I will never go to another person for my color, or even my hair cuts for that matter. Tania is the top of the line. read more

I have been loyally going to Colleen for my cut and color for over 4 years now. She is incredibly talented at what she does, and actually takes the time to listen and have a discussion with you to be sure you get exactly what you are looking for. Years ago when I complained that my hair looks so much better when she styles it, she took the time to show me where I was going wrong in my feeble blow-dry attempts! She also did the hair and make-up for the bridal party of a wedding I was recently in. I could not have possibly gotten more compliments on my hair, and everyone's make-up was FLAWLESS. I absolutely love this place. I had Brittany as my stylist and y'all when I say she's amazing she is fantabulously amazing!! I got balayage done and was a little nervous about getting it done. I called the salon for a consultation before I said yes and Carmen, who sits at the desk up front was super accommodating and when I explained to her that I wanted to get my hair done the following week and that the day I was calling was my only day off from work that I could come in for a quick consult, she worked some things and fit me in so I could come talk. Other places charge for a consult but this salon does not. Win win! Luckily I got Brittany. I showed her some pictures and asked her help in deciding. She looked at my hair (color and thickness) and helped me narrow it down. I was sold right there. I get to my appointment and Brittany and I are chatting while my hair is being done. She is genuinely an amazing gal. When the balayage and the cut was done I was amazed. I wish I had taken pictures but I was too excited to even realize that I hadn't taken any pictures. I had a wonderful experience here with my bridal party. I had a lot of issues with my girls and the roster for who was standing up at my wedding kept shifting (some couldn't come back from school, some didn't like the groom....). The salon was so understanding of the constant changes. On top of that I had a wonderful stylist. Sharon was so down to earth and fun to talk to. I had an unusal request for my hair. Everyone was very friendly and it didn't have that uppity salon feel (which I hate). Would definitely recommend checking this salon out. **This may seem a little petty, but every time I have been to this salon and had my hair washed in the bowl thing, it is the worst experience ever! Water temp fluctuates between freezing (I mean ice cold) and scalding hot where I feel my skin is burning. I don't know if the lady who does my hair has no sensation in her hands or what but I actually dread this part of the service. At most salons this is relaxing and enjoyable, here it's torture. Where do I start. I thought I could save some money & dye my hair myself. Big mistake. My hair turned this awful orange and the texture was horrible. I needed help from a professional to fix the damage I had done. From the moment I walked into this place, I liked this place. I've had my eye brows done here twice by two different ladies and both times they looked great. I recenty went in for a consultation and was seen by Nadine who took her time to go over all of my options. I loved her energy and the way she explained things so I booked an appointment with her. Today was my hair day and I was greeted by the lovely lady Katerina at the front desk. Nadine went to town on my hair and got it to the perfect color I wanted. Christy and Vitaliya swooped in and did the finishing touch ups after I asked for a little add on. Vitaliya then did a beautiful haircut I would of never of thought to ask for myself. At one point I had all three women working on my hair which made me feel like a diva! Everyone that works here was so extremely kind. They never made me feel ashamed of looking like a hot mess and reassured me they could fix my mop. When all was said and done I have some beautiful hair! So happy I made the decision to go here! These women are not only fantastic hair stylists they are really empowering women with wonderful attitudes who work so well together as a team. You can tell this isn't just a job to them. I was looking for a new salon and I'm SO happy I decided to go to Beautiful You. I have decently dark brown hair and I wanted to do blonde balayage. I saw Annalisa who was so wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough. A couple days after I got my hair done I noticed a few pieces that didn't lift quite as much as others, leaving them more orange than blonde (not at all Annalisa's fault, that's expected when you make the choice to go from dark to light). I talked to Annalisa and without any hesitation, she got me back in immediately and she lightened the pieces into the perfect blonde. Went to AnnaLisa for a root touch up. After leaving I noticed the touch up didn't really cover my gray. I waited a couple days to call back and let her know, Immediately she said she would re-do it at n/c. The first re-do we got the same results as the first time. The owner, Susie, stepped in to help and between them both they got the job done perfectly!! I am thrilled with the color and will definitely return to AnnaLisa as the professionalism that was displayed was above and beyond the norm. I have been going to Suzanne Denee Salon and Day Spa for two and half years now. I followed my hair stylist Christina. The salon is beautiful. It has a wonderful relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Most of the staff know me by name and are always willing to help me with whatever I need whether it is fitting me in her schedule or questions in general. The entire staff works as a team which I think is very important in a successful salon. My stylist Christina is the best stylist I have ever been to. She has a passion for hair that is hard to find. She is constantly eagerly learning new techniques. She is extremely talented and in some ways a perfectionist when it comes to hair. She will not let you leave until you and HER are both happy. She does whatever it takes to make sure that goal is fulfilled. I have had black hair with damage free purple, pink, blonde, and red extensions that are great for changing your style without damaging it! One of Christina's strongest qualities is that she is honest. She wants you to have beautiful HEALTHY hair. I wanted to go from black hair to lightening it and adding blonde chunky highlights. Most stylists would jump into doing this and not care that my hair was going to break off after a week. Christina was honest that this was going to take some time but with my patience and her expertise I now am a brunette with almost platinum blonde highlights. She will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy and I have never left being dissatisfied. I highly recommend her to everyone I meet especially because I am constantly being asked where I get my hair done. Their prices and products are fantastic and you will be sure to get your money's worth and more. I've had many hair cuts here and I've never really made an appointment. I've always been lucky as a walk-in. The hairstylists are all good. I've had at least four stylists and I have never walked out unhappy with my hair. The stylists are always nice and they actually concentrate on cutting your hair instead of talking to each other. When the salon first opened I purchased a package but then shortly moved out of the area. A few years later after moving back I called to inquire about it, not expecting much, and the sales associate spoke to the owners who recalled my purchase and provided me with a full credit. I scheduled my wedding hair and makeup services with this business because they came recommended by the venue and they came onsite for no extra charge. Sherri is amazing! My hair and makeup at the trial and my wedding day was flawless. Everything else was not good. Every time I called to change the number of people getting their hair done it was a challenge. The girls who answer the phone have no idea what they are doing and they put you on hold for at least five minutes to find someone else. When someone answers the phone, it took a long time for them to find my reservation, even though I had called a number of times before. Even when I came for my trial, I heard three different prices and payment options...the receptionist had to call the owner at home to get a final answer. I also got a facial in preparation for the wedding and she did a wonderful job. Very knowledgeable and sweet. I still have the "to go" samples she gave me and they are very good. On my wedding day two stylists and the owner were there. They were on time and ready to start and Sherri did a great job on me and the other girl did a great job on one of my bridesmaids. She unfortunately did a hack job on my mother's hair and it had to be redone. Suzi (the owner) just stood there the whole time, there was no reason for her to be there except to introduce herself to the sales staff at the hotel, not the time and place when I'm paying you to be there for me and my bridal party. She did eventually help fix my mother's hair because we were running out of time. The stylists are overall, a talented group of women, but the support staff are useless and frustrating to deal with. The convenience was great and I was happy with the way I looked, but they were the worst vendor I had to deal with for my wedding. read more

Not impressed to say the least!!! A friend gave me a gift certificate to this salon for my Birthday. I decided to start with for a manicure- which turned out to be a huge fiasco. I came in for French no chip (no, nothing too exotic, or difficult). The process took WAY longer then should've, and I rushed out since I was running late for work. When I arrived at work I noticed that the width of lines varied from finger to finger, the cuticles looked untouched. I called the salon and explained what happened. I was assured that a more experienced manicurist would redo my nails. \I came back the same day. The girl was very pleasant but my nails looks sick and bulky, and lacked professional salon look. So 2.5 hours of my time $35+2 tips, I was not happy, and had to get my nails redone by the end of the week. Needless to say, I was not thrilled about going back this salon. I also moved to a different office for work, so the location did not work for me anymore. I explained the situation to the salon manager asking if I could get a refund for the remaining amount of the gift certificate. She called me stating that the owner refused to refund the rest of the money and that I could buy the products, or give it as a gift to someone else. Watch out ladies! Once you have a gift certificate from that place you are trapped! Needless to say, I do not recommend this place for a manicure. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! read more
