Checked on Yelp for a nearby salon and found Tips2Toes Nail Salon. Aby was recommended by one of my girlfriends and I was able to book an appt on their website last night. Easy and seamless process. Aby is Quick, but very detail oriented and does such a great job listening to what I needed. I highly recommend coming here. It's very nice and clean and the service is fantastic! She did an awful job on the builder nails. Even though Henry promised she was good at the service and they would look natural. They are sloppy and uneven. She was moving so fast she chopped one of my nails down much shorter than the others. I told Taylor she needs to understand that hands are attached to a body. I have never had such a painful service. I spoke with Thomas afterwards and he said he was sorry and said he could reshape them. I said no I do not have the time. He charged me full price for the service anyways. I drove all the way from Sycamore and have been here several times. Unfortunately I won't be back. Left with my fingers hurting and paying full price for a terrible service.

So I decided to come back, and once again I am on day 17 and no lifting, no peeling. At other places I can't even get 10 days without that happening. I was told…read moreyes, so I made the appointment and specifically told them I wanted my old gel nails removed and to do a new full set with one nail being extended. so I went in and the original person who started to take off my nails, decided that she was going to remove the gel that was sitting on top of my nails with another fake nail instead of buffing it off and putting acetone on it like they normally do. I asked what she was doing and was told that as long as it didn't hurt me, I was fine yet I can see the top of my nails being ripped off onto the gel because of the way she was removing it. once I said something, she decided she was no longer doing my nails, so I was passed on to the owner now being the owner. I thought I was in good hands. Well, I thought wrong! he tried to let me know that the powder he wanted to use on my nails was gel when in fact, it was not and they had to show him what gel actually is. He then proceeded to take off my old gel and didn't give me any sort of manicure my cuticles were not pushed back or anything. He put on a layer of no chip clear base before starting the gel! if anyone has ever gotten their nails done, they know that is a big no no and I said something right away. he insisted this was the way to do it so I let him and now it's been two weeks later and the gel has completely fallen off my nail my nail has broken and the no chip base coat is still on my nail. so unless you're going in for a typical manicure or no chip manicure, I probably would not go here.
