It breaks my heart to write this review because I've been here many times before and had no issue whatsoever. Today I walked in to get my brows threaded. It's been awhile and I got too lazy to maintain them. They started to grow wildly and they look like hairy caterpillars. So I was asked if I wanted to thin them out a bit and I didn't know if I wanted to or not, but I finally decided just a tad thinner. When I was done, she took out a couple hairs on my left brow that left a gap where my brow started but the bottom part (Wish I could draw it out!). And the top part of my brow again where it started wasn't even with the rest of the brow and I think she might have threaded a little too much. My right side was fine but my left side....I was kind of disappointed. I'll have to fill them in since there are some gaps and grow it out, which I luckily, don't have a problem with. Maybe today was a fluke and next time will be better. read more

Neeru was really nice and attentive. She spent about less than an hour with my hair as I was the only client at the time. I came in for a haircut and styling (curls), which she charged me $60 overall - pretty steep for me. Again, the lady was nice and my haircut turned out fine - nothing fancy, just 5 inches off and side bangs. But probably won't be coming back due to the price :( read more

Anything you'd like to get done from eyebrow threading, to hair color and cut, they can definitely do it, and it can be done well too! Neeru is so caring to tend to whatever your beauty needs may be. I personally go to get threading and waxing from her and i've always loved how she shapes my eyebrows. They always very clean and precise, and complement my face in the best way. You can definitely tell that she has very broad knowledge on how to thread the right way, and is very trustworthy unlike the places in the mall where some of the ladies may be so careless. Neeru is amazing! I've been going to her for Brazilian wax (yes! Ouch!) for a little over a year now. She's SUPER quick! 10 minutes and you're done! I really wanted to like this place. First time here and I saw positive reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. Called early Monday morning and Neeru made a same day appointment for me. She stayed after hours just for me. I had high hopes since she totally accommodated me with time. Especially because Neeru is amazingly kind and sweet. I asked for her to go higher on my layers and long bangs. Unfortunately she gave me the worst hair chop I've ever had in my life! I sat and watched her cut horribly and didn't say a word because I thought that maybe I should just be patient and I'll see the great results in the end. She dried my hair and put the blow dryer to it. No curling iron. When she was all done I looked at it in the mirror and thought " I was wrong, the cut did come out nicely" but when I washed my hair the next day I realized my hair was not textured. My layers are all over the place and uneven. I'm so devastated. I won't be going back and I'll just take a loss on this. Now on my hunt to find someone to fix my mess. read more

I went to Neeru at Beauty Bazaar for a Brazilian Blowout, based on a good friend's recommendation. Neeru's work is outstanding. I love the Brazilian Blowout. My hair is now straight, shiny, silky, and most of all it's easy to manage. And Neeru is so sweet. She accommodates my busy schedule, never rushes me but answers all my questions, and gives me great tips on what products to use, and how to make it last as long as possible. It's a long drive for me but well worth it. Fortunately, Beauty Bazaar is right off the freeway. It's comfortable but you don't pay the overhead for all the bells and whistles. I used to go to a different salon in diamond bar until I tried beauty bazaar & now I'm never going back! I pretty much go here for my every beauty need...waxing, threading, to get my hair done, etc. The service is amazing. They accept walk ins & everyone that works there is extremely friendly. It's the only salon I've ever been to that can make face threading seem almost painless & waxing as comfortable as possible. I have been going to Neeru for at least 6 years. I moved to Long Beach so it became inconvenient to get my threading done with Neeru. I tried a couple of places locally and boy am I disappointed. Neeru has set the bar pretty high with the meticulous way she threads my face. I walk away feeling clean and with beautifully shaped eyebrows. I've had facials done too. I wish i can afford to have it frequently. Neeru is always accomodating. She understands people are busy trying to fit all their errands in one day. Out of all the waxing places that I have been to, this place is definitely the best! The prices are very reasonable and Neeru makes it as painless as possible. Brazilian and underarm waxing is so much better than shaving. The hair comes out thinner and your skin becomes softer. I went to this place and had a HORRIBLE experience and I had to wait a long time to get my eyebrows done and when I went for my eyebrows and upper lip, they literally spent 20 seconds doing my eyebrows and a quick few seconds for my upper lip. They finished up real quick and ended up charging me a RIDICULOUS amount for service under a minute. I was very disappointed and unhappy with this salon and don't reccommend it to ANYONE! BRAZILIAN WAX I tried different places before I found Beauty Bazaar. None gave me the sense of being in good hands. First I had gone to an excellent place, OC Wax, but it was just too far for me to be going monthly, and they did not offer Saturday appointments. So I decided to search for something as great as them. I tried two different places. First, I tried Shear Artistry Salon. They did an ok wax. I didnt like the fact that I wasnt given privacy to undress. It was kind of awkward with her standing there with her hands behind her back waiting on me to undress. Yes I know shes waxing me, but still , it felt weird. I just left with a bad vibe. Then the second place I tried was a hair salon in the shopping center off Amar and Nogales. Worse wax ever. The woman took 1 hr and she burned me and cut me. Horrible! From there I decided to try one last place otherwise id have to figure out on how to keep going to the OC. I found Beauty Bazaar. Neeru gave me my wax. She was very gentle, very knowledgeable and friendly. And! shes just less than 10 minutes away from my house :) She has on several occasions accommodated me on last minute wax emergencies before my trips. Even gone as far as to come in on her day off for me. Shes great! Would recommend this place for your Brazilian Wax needs. Place is small. They are a hair salon and also offer eyebrow threading. So, after my usual monthly visit, I wanted to write another review for Neeru and their whole team. SO I am a loyal beauty bazaar customer, not only for my skin care needs, but Dilaina also does my hair, and gave me this AMAZING ombre style and updating my otherwise dead & out-of-style hair!! I am a busy mom of a toddler, so it is always a very pleasing experience going there to see Neeru there! Also, I have been getting my brazilian wax there for years now, cant even remember how long now, including other areas, and I have NEVER had any issues with ingrowns or anything for that matter. She is VERY good at pulling hair out of the root. So the other person who said she ended up getting bumps and scars after, Im not sure if thats from her waxing, coz it really has never happened to me or my other friends that I have recommended and they have tried her too!! And if you had an issue I dont know why you wouldnt have called her as she is very good at making sure her service was up to par!! And the best part; Brazilian IS SO AFFORDABLE!! So I was a little confused reading that review. I will also mention that she does an excellent job on my eyebrows as always!! I always walk out of there feeling my best thats why I have been going there for A LOONG time now, and will continue to do so and recommend her to others also. No one can thread eyebrows like Neeru! She knows exactly how to shape them and she is one beautician who actually appreciates the look of full, natural looking brows! Neeru can also help fix your eyebrows as well. She'll let them grow in places that they need to grow, while still cleaning up the excess so your eyebrows will look good even in the growing process. I've been going to Neeru for threading and waxing for years now, and I can honestly say that she makes my eyebrows look their best! And there have been times where I have trusted family/friends with a quick eyebrow thread, but there is a clear difference when Neeru does my eyebrows. I cannot recommend her enough! She is also very sweet and will make you feel comfortable.
