Where do i begin... I love getting facial and I usually go to medical spas, but this place was more of a home feel. Don't get me wrong medical spas are great, but I love the feel not busy take care of you one on one, not so much commotion cute boutique also inside. My friend brought me here the other day and I really enjoyed my visit. Agnes and her team are very friendly and did a fabulous job taking care of my skin. I chose the Signature Facial ($48) and a chemical peel add-on ($25) and enjoyed my experience, particularly for such a great price. The facial includes cleansing, steaming, extractions, mask, and a head/shoulders massage. Agnes' assistants generally do the prep work and then she'll come in for the extractions. I have problematic skin, particularly with black/white heads, mild acne, and some cystic scars from the past. So the extractions definitely hurt... but the results are great. After the chemical peel, my skin looked brighter and tighter as well. The salon is very clean and comfortable and appointments are not hard to book with Agnes. My friend recently moved to the Bay Area and had a few visits left from the package she bought, so she offered it to myself, my sister, and my mom. The appointment process was very easy- appointments were made by my friend by texting Agnes. On Saturday afternoon we came into the shop and were pleasantly greeted and offered snacks and water/tea. After just a few minutes, we were called in separately and explained the process. I changed out of my top and into the provided cover. The facial was great! Since I have sensitive skin and this was my first facial ever, I was a bit worried that i would break out. However I didn't and my face feels very smooth and refreshed immediately afterwards. There's some slight redness, but that's expected. Agnes states that the next day should feel even better! I would highly recommend coming here for a facial or any other service that they offer. The employees are very nice and accommodating. Throughout the whole process, my girl kept asking if the pressure of the massage was okay or if the steam was too hot. Just a little background: I get some acne here and there and I only started getting them about 2 years ago. There were some instances where my skin broke out pretty bad and I got desperate to try out new things such as getting a facial. I have tried the acne & LED treatment and the signature facial provided at this location. Honestly, the first few times I did it, I did not know if it worked but I wanted to trust everything Agnes said... I noticed my skin would always be super irritated for at least a week after every session. The last couple of months, I have told Agnes not to go crazy when poking through the skin because that's what causes extreme irritation and massive breakout afterwards. Usually the massive breakouts take at least 3 weeks to finally go away but the most recent facial screwed up my skin big time. You have no idea how many people were like, "Dude WTF happened to your face". Yep it got screwed up after the facial. I got the facial on 8-1-2017 and my skin has progressively gotten worse to this day. Constant whiteheads and redness weren't going away from the irritation after so many weeks. Contacted Agnes on 8-30-2017, showing her the horrible condition of my face at the moment and she tells me to go see a doctor. Yeah of course, I already went to see a doctor when the redness did not subside after several weeks. Still trying to find out how to fix my skin at the moment. I will also be asking to get my money back. I have started using 3 products, hoping that they may reverse the damage: Neutrogena Oil-Free redness soothing facial cleanser (aloe and chamomile), Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Triple Action Toner (green tea and cucumber extracts) and Mario Badescu Drying Lotion (spot treatment). All products have salicylic acid which should also help. Here are some pictures including my skin the day before the facial. You have been warned... Update: On 9-11-2017, Agnes wanted me to come in and talk. I was pretty clear that my main issue is the redness and not the whiteheads. She indicated that using blue LED will reduce the redness/kill bacteria and tried to persuade me to give her a chance. I accepted and we went through with that on the same day. She did a minor extraction on the whiteheads that were out with her fingers, shined LED light onto face and ended with a mask. Oh yeah, the LED light was actually purple not blue? There were no changes in redness from the LED and she did not understand why. In my opinion, the minor extraction, LED light and mask can cause the skin to become irritated, hence the increased redness. On 9-12-2017, woke up with new whiteheads and face was still irritated. Updated Agnes on that and was told to go in again. I assumed it would be a touchup as in simple extraction of whiteheads and LED light. Two red flags and I knew my skin would be screwed up the next day... #1: She squeezed the hell out of my skin on both sides of my face even on areas where I did not have visible whiteheads. #2: Another mask... pretty sure you're not supposed to use masks that often per week. Today (9-13-2017), woke up with whiteheads in the area where I did not have any before and face was super irritated and red. Yep, pretty much worse than before and now I have to go through this whole process again of trying to calm the redness. Agnes told me to come in today and I figured that was the last straw. I'm done with facials...it's just not worth all the stress and problems. Tip: I had a similar case back in June where I kept breaking out in areas of the chin and jawline after the facial. Also ended up with a lot of redness and have contacted Agnes about it. There's always some excuse and no solution to try to fix it. What I have noticed recently is...only when you leave a 1 star review does she "attempt" to communicate and try to fix the problem but actually made it worse... Oh yeah, she takes picture of your face without consent when you have your eyes covered. read more

I truly enjoyed coming here for a facial! I have combination skin (oil & dry) and battle blackheads...gross, I know! My face looked a lot cleaner afterward. I also followed up this treatment by investing in a good toner, face cleanser, and new night cream. It's important to remember that facials are only a part of a skincare regimen. Onto the actual procedure! The products smell good and the rooms are clean. You can really relax while you are having a facial here! The massage was amazing! The procedure begins with you changing out of your clothes. Then, they relax you with a head, neck, and (some) shoulder massage. Next, they cleanse and steam your face well by continuing to gently massage your face with the product. Lastly, you have zits and/or blackheads extracted. Extractions were quick and gentle, but it's obviously still going to feel uncomfortable at times...but hey that's a facial! After the facial, my face felt so soft! You may experience some redness after extractions, but 2-3 days later, my pores looked tighter. Overall, I liked it so much that I promised myself that I would come back 3 months in a row to see if I notice a bigger change in my skin. read more

She was closed for over a year due to covid and I legit was scared that she wouldn't reopen. Like you don't understand I ONLY TRUST AGNES. She has been the only person to help me with my acne. I'm in my early thirties and I get hormonal acne. Which sucks and a dermatologist already told me it'll be probably forever. But with Agnes magical touch she is able to reduce my acne and help me control it so I can be confident being make up free. The best way to set up an appointment is to text/call her. Please note she is limiting how many clients per day due to covid. So she is getting book super fast. I did my first facial today with her since she re-open. And I was like I want to book for my next visit and it won't be till JUNE. But I completely understand since she's taking care of her clients, like myself whose been with her for a long time. So that's a lot of people she got to see. If you are new I would highly suggest to reach out to schedule an appointment since May is completely full. I felt so safe during my entire appointment as it was only me and Agnes. No other clients was there she did my temp check before I was able to set foot into the facial room. She had her mask on the entire time and used gloves when doing the extraction. She very good at sterilizing all her instruments and washing her hands in between. I'm just so happy she is open cause it's been TOO LONG! Agnes is the best like my face has come a very long way to get to where it is now. Like I went from this crazy looking pizza face to just having a couple acne here and there. She got my super large cystic acne to be reduced. And I very rarely get those now. And when she does the extraction she is very gentle. Like yes it hurts but she's careful to make sure I'm not crying which I appreciate cause I'm such a baby. I usually get the signature facial which is 60 mins it includes: exfoliating the face, a face, neck, shoulder massage, extraction on what's needs to be remove like black/whiteheads, and pimples, then she uses this gadget that makes these zapping noise but it's to kill any germs or bacteria since remember your face is now exposed because you just went through an extraction. Afterwards a face mask is placed on, today I got the rose mask and oh my goodness it smelled sooooooo good! During the mask placement you get a mini scalp massage and then the mask is on your face for a couple minutes. To which I usually take a mini nap cause it just feels that good. Then she will remove the mask and put on face lotion and sunblock. Then you turn over face down a nice hot warm towel is placed on your back. A quick pow pow pow to relax your back muscles and ta-Da it's done. You will walk out feeling so relax and refreshed. Staff was so welcoming and pleasant but best of all, my facial was amazing. The first part with Karen "facial" and massage was so relaxing... Agnus came in to do extractions and a face mask. I had an amazing experience the first time so I obviously had to come back and see if my acne issue could finally be solved once and for all as well as fading my acne scars and hyperpigmentation. I was completely amazed and so happy as I haven't had clear skin since my early teens!! The best facial I have had. Agnes actually extracts all the gunk out of your face. My pain tolerance is pretty high, so it didn't hurt as much. No need to worry she moves really fast during the extraction!
