I had made an appointment for 3 pm based on my purchased livingsocial for full body wax and I reached there sharp at 3pm. There were two person ahead of me and were being serviced. The lady working told me please be seated, so I took a seat. Then lady took me in after 10 minutes which I didn't mind. While lady took me in the room, she told me full body wax coupon(livingsocial) does not include full face waxing and asked me to pay additional $25 for full face wax services. No complaints here. Came for basic eyebrow threading and it was $8, which I was pleased with. The girl was pretty quick and it didn't hurt any more than usual. I probably wouldn't come here for anything more complicated like a facial or eyelash extensions, but I was pleased with my eyebrows. read more

Please AVOID this place at all cost. I went to the salon to get "Mink" lash extensions. Instead I got a pitiful excuse for them ( the fist photo below) . When I asked if that was the finished product the technician replied yes and I was clearly unsatisfied so she "attempted" to apply more lashes for a fuller look and then decided that it didn't look good so didn't want to go further. She then gave me a card for 2 free refills, as if the set she did was even a full set, and told me to return Thursday. That was on Monday. Due to my work schedule the soonest date I was able to return was Saturday morning. Another lady filled in my lashes and they were fuller. Not to my liking but at that point I was tired and over it. Since I was already in the chair I asked for a brow wax which was the worst mistake I've made so far in 2020. This woman literally BURNED MY FACE" (second photo) after I complained about the pain she said it was because my skin is sensitive which was definitely a lie. I bought a groupon for lash extensions and read reviews and was convinced this place would be a good idea...I looked into getting the lash extensions before getting it done and I read it would take at least an hour, watched videos of people doing it so I knew what to expect. My eye lashes were not even brushed before the lashes were applied. The woman kept answer phone calls and I could tell she was rushing through the process and it only took her about 25 minutes. Apparently they were supposed to last up to two months and I've had mine for two weeks and they're falling out a long with my real lashes. Safe to say I will go to a more professional place next time and pay more if it means they'll look good. read more

Today I went in for my first acne facial. Upon entering, Reanna (sp?) did not seem aware that there was a 1:30pm appointment scheduled for myself. While talking on her personal cell phone, she hurried me to the back room where my facial would take place. I've read that the esthetician should first give a questionnaire to determine your skin type and inquire about any medications that may affect your facial. However, no such questionnaire was given. Beginning the facial, I informed her that it was my first time, and I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. She did not prepare me with any knowledge of what to expect. Partly I blame myself for not doing research beforehand. She was very rough with my skin, and it felt like she was choking me as she massaged my neck. I gasped for air because I couldn't breathe. Finally, I was able to ask her to be more gentile, to which she complied begrudgingly. The products she used felt nice on my skin, and I was able to relax after that. I know now that the steam machine was normal, but I had no knowledge of it coming into the facial. Breathing in the steam added another challenge to breathing. At one point, it felt too hot to bare, and I had to turn my face away multiple times for air. During the extractions, it did hurt a little, and at one point I actually whimpered in pain. I can laugh at that now, but I don't think that's supposed to happen. After she put on a mask, she left for some period of time.... I thought she was stepping out to talk to some customers or friends who had entered the shop because she didn't say anything as she left. I only assume it was a mask because of what I've read since attending the facial. She didn't tell me anything she was doing, so I was left in the dark, literally and figuratively. When she came back, she took off my mask, and applied another cream of some sort. I don't believe any sunscreen was applied. I wasn't told what to expect with my skin or given any skincare advice besides when she asked me if I ever drink water. I didn't leave with a great feeling and noticed that her thumb nails had a lot of dirt under them. I had a Groupon to come here for two appointments. My next appointment is in three weeks (as per Reanna's suggestion) so we'll see if the experience is better or worse Rating: 3/5 ------ Today I went for my second acne facial, and the experience was significantly better. I came mentally prepared for a "rough" facial massage, the steam didn't scare me, and I knew that she would leave for ~20 for the face mask to do it's job. Well, I found this place on Groupon for a Brazilian Wax for a cheap price. I when I got to this location for my service, the waxing room wasn't clean, she burned me with the wax. I thought my skin was going to fall off from her pulling the hair. My experience was horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

My lashes were glued onto the skin, not my lashes. The glue was coated so thick my lashes are all stuck together and it is painful to close my eyes. I doubt i can bear 2 days with them. Also, i showed her a picture of what i wanted before she began & she said okay- then HALFWAY through said "oh so these will look different than that picture because they aren't the same". DO NOT GO HERE!! I ask for my brows to be threaded and do dye them light light brown because my natural brows are blonde. They got two different eyebrow shapes for each brow and made them as thin as how people did in the 90s. When they dyed my brows instead of them being light brown they turned out JET BLACK. I do not typically like to leave negative reviews but I would like to warn people before they have a similar experience. I went to get my eyebrows tinted for my wedding, trying to support a local business in my area. I have very blonde hair.. I see the girl mixing up a BLACK dye. I politely tell her "my hair is very blonde, I don't want them too dark"- she proceeds to continue mixing said dark dye and tints my WEDDING brows BLACK. I was disappointed but thought maybe it would fade some and start to look more presentable. However when I left & saw it in the light it was terrible (even after 15 min of scrubbing) so I immediately went back, they showed no remorse and had no fix for my black brows. Today when I woke up (brows still black) I also see that she burned my skin while waxing which is painful considering I am having to have my hair dresser re-color my brows to match my hair. In addition I paid ahead of time, yet the technician argued with me about paying for quite some time until awkwardly she agreed to let me leave. Lastly, they had signs posted telling people to sanitize their hands and wear a mask, neither of which did the technician do. Overall a very poor experience. Today was my first time going to this place ... today is New Year's Eve and it was last minute for me I usually go to the mall to get my lashes and eyebrows done but I googled for lash bars and it was closer than the mall ... I got there at about 4:45 and when I came in there was a lot of people in the waiting area and also in chairs waiting there was one worker and I actually didn't see her when I first walked in so I was looking around and then she yelled at me asking what did I need and I told her "I'm looking at the price list" and she said again what do you need and I said " lashes and eyebrows " I looked for the price menu there wasn't a price for mink individual lashes so I asked her and she said there were different prices for everything so I asked again " how mush are individual mink lashes" she said 35 and I said ok ... also what made me go was because when I googled it there was an ad for free brows with any services ... so I waited for about an hour she said she will show me the two types of mink lashes that she has and I made my selection and sat back down .. she had me to sit in her chair then asked me if she can get the girl that came in after me and I said ok then she said she would do one of my eyes then do her brows and come back to me I said ok but then she told me she had a deal for $55 for eye brows and lashes that's when I told her about the ad and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about .. them she said that the lashes will be $55 not $35 she. As I ally waited until all of the people that were there when she told me $35 were gone to change the price so that I can change my mind and get something easier because she was in a rush ! When I told her that she changed the prices she got loud with me and fussed at me as if I was lying on her when she was the one who told me 35 so I still was willing to get a services even though I was lied to but everything went left because she was rude I waited for over an hour for nothing and she still skipped over me and tried to brush something off in me so that she can hurry to get to church ! Like my time wasn't important !! Over an hour ! My 2 year old son and husband had to sit in the car the whole time and she locked the door and turned the open light off at about 5 when there was a sign on the door saying they would be open at until 7!!
