I contacted her to see if she was available for my wedding day in which she responded promptly that she was and provided her pricing/requirements. After I hired my planner, she of course recommended a few hair & makeup vendors from her list but I told her that I really wanted Hanna. She was able to get in touch with Hanna and create a contract which included Bride hair & makeup, Bride hair & makeup trial, Maid of honor hair & makeup, Groomscape (which never happened..explanation will follow later) and Touch up kit. Our engagement session with our photographer and Hanna got scheduled but of all days it rained THAT SAME DAY. ONLY THAT DAY! We had to cancel the same day while hoping that the rain would subside but didn't. Hanna was understanding of the last minute cancellation. We were able to reschedule the engagement session and trial session for another day. Just a note, she is usually available during a weekday for trials because she needs weekends for weddings and her trials are done out of her home. Before the trial Hanna asks you to send 1 hair and 1 makeup style you want for your wedding day to replicate. As soon as the trial was over my husband and I went to meet with our photographer for pictures. Our engagement pictures came out great. Everyone was complimenting how good we looked. Now fast forward to our wedding day. Hanna came on time and got to work. I was running around trying to get things ready and situated at our venue. Not to mention I forgot my phone at home so my husband had to go back home to get it. Hanna started on my maid of honor's hair & makeup. By the time my husband got back with my phone it was my turn. During the trial she sat me facing away from the mirror but this time we had a giant mirror in which I was sat directly in front of. She finished my hair & makeup and I was happy with the look. My maid of honor looked good too so I thanked her, tipped her and she left. It was such a hectic day I didn't realize until the next day she didn't do the Groomscape that was supposed to be included in the contract. She must've forgot about it as I did too. Hanna was gracious enough to offer a refund and make it up to me but just the thought of her reaching out to me was good enough. Hanna is great at what she does and she is quick! Our wedding day was a success and thanks to Hanna we looked beautiful for it.

I just received my engagement photo album and am very happy with my makeup and hair trial by Hanna. For the hair and makeup trial you go to Hanna's house. Booking her a few months in advance, she was available for the day I requested. The trial included air brushing and fake eyelashes. She is professional, efficient, prompt and knows what she is doing. Her prices are competitive. It's hard to find a makeup artist who knows how to use makeup beautifully on Asians. If you've had bad experiences in the past with makeup like me, try Hanna. You won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to seeing how my bridesmaids and I will look on the big day!
