I had actually booked someone else to do my makeup but within 30 minutes of that it was coming off! Luckily I had hired Karina to do my mothers & friends makeup and she offered to fix it! I had the best experience with Karina! She absolutely nailed my hair and makeup. The look was a beautiful soft glam that felt polished and elegant, but still very natural. What I loved most is that I still felt like me. The makeup enhanced my features rather than covering me up or making me look like someone else. I shared with Karina that in the past other artists often don't get my shade right and I sometimes end up looking yellow or ashy. She completely understood what I meant, and I honestly couldn't believe how perfect my color match was. My skin looked flawless and natural -- truly me, but better. Karina also styled my hair in a beautiful twist half-up, half-down look with soft curls. My hair normally doesn't hold a curl and can feel heavy when it's styled up, but my curls lasted all night. The way she pinned my hair was incredible -- nothing moved or came undone, and somehow it was still so comfortable. No pulling, no headache, just a flawless style that held perfectly. Beyond the talent, she made the whole appointment feel comfortable and fun. She's truly a girls' girl, giving recommendations for other beauty services, fun drink spots, and just making the whole experience feel like getting ready with a friend. I'm already planning to book her again for my wedding and any future events. It was SO much more convenient for me to find someone who does both hair and makeup. Karina was able to squeeze me in with short notice for my backyard wedding. During our trial appt she made it so easy to make changes as needed, and was totally open to what I hoped for. I knew she would make the day- of stress free, and I left without worry. Hair and makeup done by Karina...she definitely made my dream come true with the image I had for my special day ‍ My makeup lasted all day, we went for dinner at 8pm but before that my wedding was very emotional and also the makeup survived me getting in the jacuzzi ‍ The touch up kit she provided me was also fabulous it helped me barly touch up on certain areas but barly any touch up needed. I could leave zero stars I would, this woman took a deposit for me and my girlfriend to do our hair and make up for my wedding, my wedding got canceled. She refuses to refund the money so I ask her if she can apply the deposits towards a photo shoot I'm going to have for family photos and she refuses to combine the deposits and is the most difficult rude and uncompassionate person I have probably ever dealt with. She's a complete rip off and won't do the work or compromise and refuses to combine the deposits so that the money isn't lost. I would not suggest her to anybody I've heard from several other people she does crappy hair and make up as well. read more

I got my hair cut and dyed by Karina and she did an amazing job! I cut my hair short last year but it didn't frame my face and I hated it. When Karina cut my hair she took time to frame it and make it look how I wanted it. She really takes the time to understand what you want and in the end gives you even more then that. I went to Karina to get my trial done on the day of my bridal shower and I received so many compliments in regards to my makeup! Her setup at home is so cute and so comfortable. I tried so many and only Karina got it on the first try. Ever since I continue to go with her. She knows a lot about make up.
