JoAnn Salgado replied to my request quickly for an updo hairstyle and make-up for the wedding as a…read moremother of the groom plus a girlfriend for a total makeover.  Jo Ann is very professional, and from the very start of our discussions, she laid out plans on how and what we should be putting together such as our preferred hairstyles and glam makeup.  She's very detailed in her approach and scheduled a digital meeting before the week of the actual day.   On our actual scheduled day, she came right on time, complete with all her essential tools and devices from lights to two set of chairs and other make-up paraphernalia. JoAnn took her time and in no way rushing in styling an updo for me and also with my girlfriend that worked very well with our preferred hairstyles.  Also, based on her expertise, she suggested hairstyles best suited to our face shapes, which was in sync with our chosen styles. When it came to make-up makeover, this took about an hour & a half for each of us to be completed.   It began with the prepping of my facial skin and the same as with the hairstyles, she never rushed.   She made me and my girlfriend as glamorous but in a soft and natural glam ways.  Our morning appointment with JoAnn started first thing in the morning and ended about 5 hours for 2 people.   Our make-up stayed the whole day and night,  never been retouched but looking moist, luminous, and radiant.   We received compliments from other wedding guests with our updo and make-up.   Thank you JoAnn for making our day no stress and looking glamorous!

I reached out to Cristina four times via email and never heard back. I was honestly very frustrated given I really wanted to book with her and I couldn't. After hundreds of liked but not loved Instagram photos and being a little unimpressed with what LA had to offer I took a chance and reached out to @heatherchapmanhair whose Instagram is serious hair goals and whom I had followed for a long time. Heather is in Utah but she was so nice and quickly emailed me back and said "I've got your girl!" and highly recommending Heidi. Thankfully Heidi was available for my May 2018 wedding and in only a few emails, one panicked phone call and a perfect trial day at her home studio with her cute pups I just knew I was in good hands. Heidi immediately came up with a game plan to start at the bed and breakfast and transfer to the venue at 10am and rearranged the schedule to include transfer time and still make sure everyone was done on time. I asked for two tiny tweaks for the day of look and I walked away excited for my day of look and complete confidence. Day of... My hair and makeup turned out beyond amazing and I couldn't have been happier! Heidi and Danielle also did all of my bridesmaids and they all absolutely adored their hair and makeup!
