I had such an amazing experience at this hair studio! I originally went in just to get a quote and somehow walked out with my hair looking AMAZING! I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Stephanie was absolutely wonderful! She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. You can tell she really cares about her work and her clients. I left the salon feeling so happy and loving my hair! The owner was also amazing. He took the time to give me his advice and explain things to me, and I really appreciated that. One thing I noticed right away was how everyone works together and helps each other. It gives the salon such a positive, welcoming feeling. You can tell there is a real sense of teamwork there, and that says a lot about the people who work there. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Even the owner's mom was so sweet! I didn't get a chance to talk with her much, but she made sure I was taken care of quickly, and I really appreciated that. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and helpful. I never felt rushed or like just another customer. They actually took the time to make sure I was happy and understood what would work best for my hair. And the funniest part is that I literally walked in only looking for a price quote and walked out with beautiful hair and a new salon I'm definitely coming back to! The best hair studio in town! While most traveled from out of town to sj I would normally seek my cousin and his salon out of town because "I don't trust anyone other then my hairstylist "I didn't want to try anywhere else but being that my cousin was on vacation I had to find a way to get my hair done .(as embarrassing as it sounds ) A few months back I bought all the supplies to BLEACH and DIE my hair on my own ... after this sad process I was left with really bad patches and in need of serious correction :/ At this point I was willing to call around and see where to go urgently! (since graduation was in 5days ) My boyfriends sister always has her hair done (unicorn vibes 24/7) so I immediately asked her where she goes and she highly recommended The hair studio. I called and ofc they would be packed . .... BUUUUUT I was on the phone with Mario and he made it possible for me to come in ON MEMORIAL DAY I felt some hope (graduation in 3days) Malissa was the secret fairy godmother that fixed my giant mess although it was going to need two sessions she made the first one happen to look good enough for graduation ‍!!!! This salon is beautiful and the staff is amazing! I went in to get my hair corrected from having super chunky highlights my self esteem was super low it looked like I had gray hairs. Then I reached out to malissa we booked our assessment she did a strand color test to see how my hair would do with the colors super professional and loved that they did this before . I showed her my history and made sure my hair was healthy enough to paint it.and she worked a miracle on my hair im in love with it! It has helped me feel 10 times better about my appearance. Malissa is great she did a great job in taking care of my hair, my hair was super dry coming in she deep conditioned it cut it and it felt amazing then we waited about two weeks to do a natural balayage. And Its important to mention she is great with availability and is able to work around your schedule she is amazing! Recommend 100% and will keep coming back to her! Prices are definitely great! I always have a pleasant experience when I go to the Hair Studio. I have been going here for a few years now and every time I enter the salon I'm welcomed with a smile and have you been helped. The salon is very well kept and the place is clean. My hair stylist Kristen Cruz is the best. She is always there to greet me and if busy at the moment acknowledges me with a smile and lets me know she will be right with me if busy at the moment or there to give a hug right when walking in. I have never had a bad experience there as a customer even with the other staff and feel very welcomed. As I sit in my chair with Kristen I am talked to the whole entire time with no hesitation which I believe is very important. She is an amazing, sweet, caring, individual with a great heart for her clients. I'm very glad to be a part of the salon when I am there. I don't feel there is tension when I see my stylist. To say that Karla is a miracle worker.. is seriously an understatement. After a very rough 2 weeks of having my hair looking like a tumble weed courtesy of a ( different stylist at another salon who is supposed to be amazing considering her 20k ++ IG followers ). Karla was extremely professional, texted me back the same day I found her on IG, and thankfully for me was able to fit me in the next day! She was spot on for my appointment and always kept the integrity of my hair as a priority. Coming from someone who has had black, blonde, brown, red and last but not least tumbleweed hair .. I absolutely love this salon. "Hunaay" is my hair stylist and she does an amazing job. I highly recommend her every she is a very talented young lemon and is great with giving me the light brown blond hair color that I desire with little damage to my hair. I recommend her she's amazing with color as well maybe one day I'll get one of the Unicorn colors that for now I stick with natural light brown ombre and I love it. I have been going to Karla for almost 8 years and let me tell you, she is an absolute hair goddess! I have went dark, blonde streaks, red highlights, and now balayage (which I absolutely love!) My Experience at this hair salon was wonderful!!! I love love love my hair color and cut by Amber. I showed her a picture of the red hair I wanted, and she gave me exactly what I asked for. Amber is very talented with giving you the hair color that you absolutely want. I told her that she has a new client for life and I meant it. Karla has been doing my hair now for about two years and she is absolutely amazing!! I never leave that chair disappointed. She always understands the look I'm going for and always is honest and meets my hair goals. When I first came to Karla my hair was so damage from prior hair stylist and she evened out the colors and literally did miracles on my hair. Since then I never let anyone else touch my hair. I've been going to Kristen for about 2 years now. My goal was to go a really light cool toned blonde which we accomplished after about 3-4 appointments. My hair is healthy and I get compliments on it everywhere I go! I've recommended lots of friends to The Hair Studio and they never disappoint! There's always warm coffee and goodies in the front, lots of products, good music (Karla's choice lol!) and everyone is friendly. Sheyla- Hunaayhair is the best and most talented and creative hair stylist! She is always so caring and passionate about her work. She has been coloring my hair for years and has done the most beautiful blended balayage I have ever had. Im super picky with my hair and Hunaay has never disappointed me. As always, I am skeptic about trying new saloons/stylist, but unfortunately I have never been satisfied with any of my previous hair color outcomes therefore, I was willing to try someone else AGAIN!!.. This is because I have been following Candace around the area for as long as I have been coming out this way. She has fixed my hair from previous people who have destroyed my hair as well dyed my hair, cut it, and styled it several times and each experience is so much fun!!
