The dogs did not seem like service animals and just kind of ran around everywhere. Is this acceptable and normal? Is this allowed by the Georgia state board of cosmetology? It does not seem hygienic or sanitary. The dogs followed me into the room and one of them just jumped up on to the chair with me. The technician working on me did not even ask if I was okay with the dogs being in the room with me. Throughout the session, I would hear her speaking to the dogs. Because my eyes were closed I have no idea if she was touching/petting them and then touching my eyes after. Even though the dogs are cute, I was really grossed out by the whole thing.

They take measures to make sure it is a good experience. I get my eyebrows threaded and it's always great. I have also done waxing. They are clean and take appropriate precautions. I have never had any issues. The facials are very relaxing, and they use herbal ingredients which I love. They have a lot of different facial options, and they can also recommend ones that are good for your skin type. They do a great job with hair color and cuts as well. Pricing is very reasonable. They spoke to me on the phone before I made the appointment, spoke to me again while I was there and concerned and offered any resolution in case I was unhappy. I WAS AMAZED at the level of customer service here. They have a customer for life in me. I am big on place with great service, particularly now that its become extinct. My lashes look great! I will be back for other services. This place is a gem in the rough; I'm hoping it stays a secret.

She started with a stencil on the back of my hand, that part turned out the best, though it still didn't fully match the photo I brought. When I asked her to continue the design onto my fingers to match the reference, the front desk assistant pulled out several stencils to try to match it, but none of them looked right. The artist ended up freehanding the fingers while referencing my photo, but the lines came out thick and shaky instead of the fine, clean detail in the picture. I noticed the henna paste itself was drying out as she was applying it, which didn't help. I pointed out the unevenness and asked her to fix it more than once, but the fixes still didn't match the quality of the reference. Henna is $15, so I wanted my money's worth and asked for the full design to be completed rather than just the hand portion -- I don't think that was unreasonable. To make it worse, it's now been two days and the henna is already fading noticeably, which shouldn't happen this soon with a proper application. Overall: 4/10 experience. If a shop offers a service, they should be confident they can deliver it -- otherwise it's a waste of the customer's time and money, and now I'm stuck waiting for a design that honestly looks like it was done by a child to fade off my hand. I wouldn't recommend coming here for henna.

I stumbled upon Yuna Skin & Body Solution after eating at the Hong Kong cafe (which is the best Chinese food in town). The online reviews looked authentic and it just felt like the right place to try. I tried to call but unfortunately they were closed. I was sad... To my surprise, Yuna texted me right away and told me she was willing to open her shop and could meet me in 1hr. I had a bit of sunburn and a lot of freckles after a recent trip to the Caribbean. Yuna suggested IPL laser treatment. To my surprise, one week later all my freckles were gone. I tried a few other places before but this one really worked. Too bad I don't live in Hotlanta, otherwise I'd be a frequent customer. Yuna was also pleasant and doesn't oversell. I think she has a lovely family too. My SIL even got her skin tags lasered off! The focus isn't just on skincare. The massage is AHMAZING. I'm literally glowy jello when I leave. It's predominantly neck, shoulder and arms. They'll put compression device on your legs and feet which gives you a lower mini massage too. I'm obsessed. Easiest way to schedule an appointment is via text.
