The pharmacist on duty, Michael C., along with his team members Renitza and Amanda, were incredibly helpful. Michael calmly and professionally asked about the severity of the burn and then instructed Renitza to retrieve a blue bottle of CVS Pain Relieving Gel on the shelf. He also clearly explained how often to apply the gel and advised me to use an antiseptic ointment if the condition worsened. Fortunately, my fiancée only developed a red mark on her abdomen, with no serious complications or infection.

Long story short, I made a phone call to another CVS where they told me that CVS had actually discontinued this prescription but they can easily fulfill a generic brand for me. (I picked this up less than an hour later!) So i would have been waiting forever for this CVS to provide me a medication that never existed. I'm not sure which one is true and worse: that this CVS had straight up lied to me, or they just don't know what they're doing. Whether it's dishonesty or inadequacy, I would never step foot in this pharmacy again and would strongly advise everyone to go elsewhere for another pharmacy. I plan to e-mail media contacts and the regional communications contact to make an official complaint until I hear back to ensure this will not happen again to any locals. This is our health and they SHOULD take it seriously! Shame on this CVS.
