I've wanted my eyebrows done for years, but, in searching for a spot to go, I always saw just enough bad reviews to scare me off. After seeing pictures of her work and reading through yelp reviews, I booked my appointment immediately. With high expectations, I was still overly impressed! Holly is a really cool, down to earth person and obviously takes pride in her craft. I went in for eyebrows and top eyeliner and learned so much about why her method results in a bold but natural look. She spent a good while shaping and marking out my eyebrows and talked to me at length about my daily routine and desired outcome. Ultimately, she ended up recommending a cheaper method than what I booked (ombré instead of nano strokes) based on what I described and examples from my personal photos with makeup. Not only is pricing extremely competitive for the time and detail in account, but you know the owner truly cares about clients when business isn't about charging the most possible. Of course, this being permanent, I went in a little apprehensive. Holly talked me off my emotional ledge and made my long-haul appointment fly by smoothly. The salon wasn't inundated with people, and, as a nurse, I really appreciated all the covid precautions in place. The healing process was a breeze (10 days for peel completion), and I feel amazing every time I catch myself in a mirror. I get TONS of compliments, from usually-aloof coworkers to my non-complimentary grandmother. What a huge boost for my confidence! I rarely wear makeup, and this was exactly the pop and brightening I was looking for to feel great bare-faced. I was coming here for just under a year every 1-3 weeks since I travel for work but loyalty and business means nothing here if you have a complaint. TLDR; they don't listen to customer requests or complaints, get defensive instead of helpful, and will cancel your appointments out of pettiness. Good work by few, terrible customer service. Lilly was the only one who lashed me in a way that stayed longer than 2 weeks. Another girls started falling out significantly after a couple days so only trusting work by one person was difficult to schedule. Typically, I would go in for my service then schedule my next one. If I needed to reschedule I would call but the phone was almost never answered. Eventually I was told to text but response to that was also spotty. I texted, called, and left a voicemail several times on Friday to reschedule my Tuesday appointment, then again Saturday. They're closed Sunday and Monday. And with everything going unanswered I texted again Tuesday and finally heard back but it was already the day of my appointment I was trying to move so it was useless. Apparently the studio was closed Saturday with no notice on social media, website, or their phone. I told Lilly how difficult it was to not have online booking and she sympathized. I was late to my next appointment and came in anyway knowing I missed it but wanted to schedule my next one and whoever was at the front desk felt it was necessary to tell me I missed the grace period (I already told them I knew I was late and just wanted to schedule so not sure why they wanted to keep bringing it up) and I mentioned again how I wish I could schedule online and she responded "yep". I value customer service so after the unnecessarily rude encounter, I messaged Lilly on Instagram letting her know my issues and how it makes me not want to come back despite enjoying her work. And instead of hearing the issue she also decides to reiterate the grace period (idk how many times I have to say I have no issue with that???) then she adds they do have online booking and that everyone pitches in at the front since no one wants to work these days. Unfortunately for me, I view websites on my phone. If you go to their site, the first thing you see is a photo and "lash set promos", when you click the text portion it only shows you junior artists and no other options. So I went to the Menu and there's no booking option. I made an account and there's no booking or appointments option. Apparently on the first page you have to keep scrolling to "Book Other Services" and I missed it- my bad- but all the times I mentioned just wanting that feature and no one thought to tell me where it was? I told Lilly that solves my issue only to see tonight in my email they cancelled my future appointment and unfollowed me lol very professional response to a fixable issue. read more

Brows are *EVERYTHING* to me because before this appointment, I had nothing--just very light-colored, thin, non-eyebrows. My appointment was for the Ombré Shading service and overall, my experience was very pleasant and the results are beautiful! I initially discovered Holly (the owner of Silk Lash Studio) on Instagram, in which it has a myriad of photos of her work from Eyelash Extensions to Microblading or Ombré Shading Eyebrows. Holly is meticulous, gentle, patient, honest, and skilled in her craft. I am annoyingly picky in regard of cleanliness of the office, their craftsmanship, and the final look. Fortunately I was confident enough to trust her based on her photos and testimonials. We also exchanged messages on Instagram prior to meeting and she replied to all of my needy questions (like pain level, after care instructions, etc) in a timely manner. Pain Level: she used a numbing cream first and it really alleviated any extra pain. If you have gotten a tattoo, it is somewhat similar but not as painful. If you have not gotten a tattoo, just imagine little, deep strokes gliding on your brows. Disclosure: I'm such a crybaby when it comes to pain but there were no tears! ;) After Care Instructions: she will inform on how to take care of your new eyebrows. I used Aquaphor since it started to flake due to dryness. The Final Look: I am so happy and pleased! I believe having confidence in yourself is also *EVERYTHING* and because of Holly's talent, I am even more confident in myself with my now perfectly shaped, shaded eyebrows! I am so glad I found Beauty Haus.I walk out feeling fabulous and ready to blink away I had a bad experience in the past and asked my lash expert Sydney to just do one eye at a time. It had been awhile and I was so anxious. Sydney was so nice and understanding. She talked to me and my anxiety was gone. The next thing I knew, she said, "We are done. You did great!". Lashes stay on for me about 2.5 to 3 weeks which show how good her work is. Table is comfortable and the "haus" is clean. Receptionist is always nice and professional.
