The technician simply removed regular nail polish with acetone and applied new gel polish. What shocked us was the final price. We ended up paying around $70 with tip for what was essentially just polishing nails. We even questioned the pricing during the appointment because it already sounded unusually expensive, but no clear total was explained beforehand. What makes it more frustrating is that their own pricing structure doesn't make much sense. A gel manicure is listed as only a small increase over a regular manicure, yet somehow just applying gel polish without any actual manicure service costs almost the same amount. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner later responded defensively to the review and claimed no concerns were raised, which is simply not accurate. We absolutely did question the pricing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customers also shouldn't be expected to argue at checkout after services are already completed. Unfortunately, the quality of the final result also did not feel worth the amount charged. I would strongly recommend asking for a full detailed total BEFORE starting any service here, especially for gel polish changes. read more

I had an upsetting experience at this nail salon I've been going to for years. After my pedicure, I slipped and fell in a puddle of water that the nail technician had left on the floor. My hand was bleeding, but all they did was give me a few bandaids, clean the blood off me and the furniture, and repeatedly ask if I was okay while they did my manicure. To my surprise, the owner charged me full price. I never heard the words, "There will be no charge today." When I later complained about it, I was offered a $15 gift card for a future service. I will be giving it away because I will never return to a place that sent me home hurting for days after their negligence and offered no decent compensation. read more

The customer service is excellent!! Everyone is extremely over the top nice and treat you like you are a VIP. I was greeted when I arrived for my 10am appointment, showed them the pic of the art I wanted as they requested and was told they could do it. I sat for my pedi, Nancy is excellent. Was offered my drink and no one tried to upsell me on anything. Been 7 months since my last pedi and Nancy took her time even though I only asked for the basic service. Sat for nails and showed the gentleman my pic. He said he could do it. He started trimming my nails and prepping them for acrylic application. Then he left and I got a new technician. By this time it was 11:30am. The new technician, Ann, who is a darling and very personable took over. She did tell me the art I wanted was a stamp and couldn't really be duplicated. By this time I'd been there 2 hours with only mani and nails glued on. I had the video on my phone of the nail art which is where I got the still shot from. I figured debating the nail art was a moot point, if no one there could actually do what I wanted, I wasn't going to show the video and ask them to take a crash course. In the end, I got a gorgeous red color that I wanted and a bit of art in 4 fingers that I don't hate. Fussing about it would have not done anything except put everyone in a bad mood. It was a busy Saturday and a lot of women walked in upset about the wait. It's a salon, I always clear my calendar when I get nails/hair done because it's a nice break from reality. I was in no hurry that day and was happy enough that the staff is very charming and kept checking on me through my stay to keep me hydrated and not made to feel forgotten. I will go back, in the end, the staff pampers me better than I could myself. And I'm not skilled enough to do my own nails lol 4 out of 5. Only losing 1 star because 2 people promised me the nails I wanted up front before Ann was honest that they weren't doable. read more
