I originally bought the Groupon deal and like other reviews the lady upsold me to the individual lashes, which I was fine with because that's what I actually wanted. This was my first experience with extensions, but I knew I didn't want heavy groupings. I had made an appointment, but she was still working on someone else. Getting the lashes wasn't bad, but I did feel some slight burning occasionally but her touch was light, I figured it was just the fumes or something. My other eye didn't feel any discomfort. Half way through, another customer came in that had an appointment, but she had forgotten about. They chatted the rest of the time and it felt like she spent significantly less time on my left eye. I left with an appointment for fillers 3 weeks later, but it's been 6 days and I'm not sure I can handle it any longer. If I close my eyes tight enough to wash my face my eyelids sting. I can't even lightly rub my lids without that poking stingy pain. My left eye has a few lashes that are askew no matter what and one that lays against the corner of my eye. Today I ran a wet cloth over my upper lids and a clump of lashes fell out. At least 5 fake lashes attached to 2 real lashes. I thought, at the very least I could just get them removed at my next appointment, but I want to get them off asap now. I'm tired of the discomfort and I feel like several were applied directly to the skin. read more

This place is clean,and the owner is super friendly. I had lashes done a week ago today and from the second day they started falling out, as of today they are falling out in clumps. Ive had eye lash extentions before that lasted 4- 6 weeks. A little disappointed ! read more

I love this place. I have been going here for 4 years. I never leave reviews but after seeing how many bad reviews there are i had to. This place is amazing. I've been to a dozen lash techs over the decade all over LA and Santa Barbara. I always paid double and by my two week fill i was practically bald. Then i found this place. My lashes are still full up to three weeks later. I have more lashes after three weeks here than i did the day after my fill at some other places i went. The girls are so nice. Very professional. Everyone has bad days so the few reviews of unprofessionalism on here need to be more compassionate. I have never once had an issue. They are very accommodating. I've been going here a long time and so there's been a few times where i had to cancel and reschedule last minute and they have always been very understanding. As for the people who had bad reactions, there are lots of beauty products many many people are allergic to. I'm a hair stylist and constantly have to test people who are sensitive all the time. Their products are great here and I'm normally very sensitive myself but I've never had an issue. Everyone is different. Lastly I've referred many people here and i know six of them have actually gone and they are all so happy and go all the time now. None of them have ever had an issue. Carol even made a special appointment at 6am last minute for my friend who was going out of town for her wedding anniversary. I give this place 3 stars because my lashes look beautiful but my eyes are watery, blood shot, and very sore. This was my first time getting lashes so I did the Groupon. When ViVi was putting my lashes on my eyes were burning and it must of been the glue. 24 hours later they are still very sore and red to the bottom of my eye balls and some lashes have already come out. I don't know if this is normal but I hope it goes away soon or else I might go see a doctor. My point is if you want your eyebrows waxed nicely you got to an aesthetician not a nail shop. You want good set of lashes go some where that really knows and pay a little more. They didn't tell me anything after I got them on. When I told her it was burning she said oh it's normal. But I do have to stay my lashes look nice it just sucks cause my eyeballs are red and watery so it's hard to enjoy. read more

Ladies beware! I had been to Beauty Lashes 3 times as I was happy with the results. The last time I went to get a refill, we discussed what lashes I'd be getting as usual. Real INDVIDUAL mink eyelashes. (Even discussed about how they were a little more pricy.) My eyelashes looked amazing that day but as the days went by they became more and more uncomfortable. So just a few days ago, I decided to get a refill done at different place closer to home, due to the fact I wasn't happy with the way the last set felt and were looking as the days went by, only to find out I had clusters attached to blobs of glue on my lashes! This girl pulled multiple clusters off. I never wanted nor was told I would be getting clusters. Why would she do that!? My eyelashes had fallen out because of the weight these clusters added. I paid for individual and expected to get only individual lashes. Loving my new lashes now. Don't go for cheaper as you will get cheaper. Save your lashes! read more

I got eyelash extensions from this salon and I liked the way they came out the first time, so I decided to come back a second time for a fill. Worst decision I could have made. She glued multiple lashes to a single eyelash and now my eyelashes are coming out in clumps, and my normal lashes are going to be nonexistent by the time they come off. Very polite and clean, extremely disappointed with the outcome of my lashes they were clumpy and heavy and not natural looking at all like I asked for. Some places had so much glue that when I had them removed it look 3 applications of remover to get them off, also lost the majority of my natural lashes along with them from the poor application. The first thing I noticed when I came in was how clean and professional the place was. The woman who does the eyelash extensions was very nice and has beautiful extensions herself and told me she's been doing this for 15 years so I trusted that she would do a good job. She made me feel comfortable and she did exactly what I explained I wanted. There was soothing music playing in the background and while it took some time it was overall pretty relaxing and my eyelashes turned out beautiful and much better than I expected.
