The woman there greeted me and immediately began working on my brows. About 12 minutes into the appointment, I received a call from The Lash Lounge and realized I was at the wrong place. I answered and explained the honest mix-up. I even offered to reschedule and apply the $34 fee to a future appointment. I was polite and very apologetic, fully aware that their brow tech was left waiting. Unfortunately, I was met with zero empathy and told I'd be charged the full amount, no exceptions. Brow Threading told me this kind of confusion has happened before. If that's the case, maybe a little flexibility would go a long way--especially for new clients. Bottom line: mistakes happen. But how a business handles them says everything. The Lash Lounge chose to charge me for a service I didn't receive instead of offering any kind of understanding. I won't be going back. If you're in the area, I highly recommend Brow Threading Beauty Salon instead--16+ years of experience and truly kind service.

Shea is very professional. On the day of my appointment, I had anxiety and sent her a text saying…read morethat I was nervous. Instead of pressuring me to show up, Shea suggested that I take a couple days to become more comfortable if I needed to. It put me at ease. Fast forward, after arriving to my appointment (which she was about 15 minutes late to, but it was situational as she forgot her phone) Shea spent a good amount of time (an hour maybe two) drawing the shape of my brows, measuring my bone structure and adjusting to what I did and didn't like. The appointment didn't feel rushed for a split second. Shea made me feel as though I was the most important client she has ever had. Very caring in her attention-to-detail. She was friendly but focused and very eager to make sure I understood what she was doing, why, and understanding how I felt about it all. The first session looked incredible. Unfortunately, it faded almost completely within 5 days. That is because I didn't follow aftercare instructions, at all. Even though Shea told me repeatedly how to care for my brows. I didn't apply Vaseline after the second night. Maybe even the first. When I communicated my panic to her, she was responsive and attentive. She asked me questions, she asked for pictures, and she made me feel confident that she will get them touched up just right on my second session. Even though she had already been paid in full, it was very clear that she cared deeply about my satisfaction. The second session was just like the first, except this time I followed aftercare instructions. Now, a few months later, my brows are still completely as full as they were when I left her office. The aftercare makes a huge difference in their longevity. If you are going to do this, with Shea or anyone, FOLLOW THE AFTERCARE instructions otherwise you're wasting your money. Shea knows what she is doing. The way she bladed my brows is different than how I would have ever filled them in, but that's because I am not trained on how brows are supposed to lay and arch. I am glad she explained everything to me. Because brows are an art, you can't just shape the same form on everyone as everyone is shaped differently. She find the lines in your face and accentuates your eyes, cheekbones through brow contour. Without a doubt, this is worth the money. Waking up everyday to full brows that you don't have to do anything to, plus it seems like it takes years off my appearance. And it literally looks so natural that even when I get in my 5x cosmetic mirror I can't tell a difference between her work and my natural brow contour. Very grateful I went to Shea vs a different microblading artist.

Please beware, I feel like I'm being scammed. The lash extensions were less than desirable,…read morequality, and application was unfortunately done very poorly. There were several lashes poking into my eye which created clear discomfort. There were clearly too much glue on the root of the extension, and when I got home there were black lash glue started rubbing off in the corner of my eye. I requested for the classic lash set, right after the application was done. Ends of my left eye, there was a lash extension popped out from the roots, I informed her on it. She took a bit of time to fix it, at the time I'm started to suspect her visions are not very sharp and that she could not see clearly. Tammy did not tell me any lash after care nor did she mention any "refills" needed etc she kept on telling me convincing me how "booked and busy" she is and how talented she is at lashes basically the whole time. I went home with an itch in my eye, I took a picture it was clear she only did one row of my upper lash and some of my own lash were falsely bends inward to be glued on. I have several row of lashes didn't have extensions on and also she didn't stick any lash extensions to the lashes in my outer corner...a lot of them are glued to my eyelid.. When I contact Tammy the NEXT day regarding this she kept on saying it's normal to have lash sticking on the water line or on the lid even when it's clearly poking into my eye. At first Tammy even attempted to blame me saying my lashes are too short and they were too low so that's why she has to apply to my root(what?) . I haven't been doing eyelash extensions for 2+ years, and prior to that none of my eyelash technicians ever said that to me and I know what a classic lash extension should look like and it def shouldn't feel this much discomfort. Tammy refuse to refund me the money, now I have to pay extra to go to another lash tech to remove it and redo it.

She took off all of my lashes, my eyes were burning and I laid there for two hours and when she was done I had less lashes than I had before I went in. My eyes were stuck together and were burning and when I opened my eyes there were big gaps where she pulled my eyelashes out and it hurt. And she charged me 150 dollars to come out with less eyelashes I had when I went in. I look horrible and I paid $150 to have my own eyelashes pulled out. i asked her what kind of lashes she was using and she said that I SAID I WANTED THEM TO LOOK NATURAL. I NEVER EVEN SAID THAT!!!
