NEVER AGAIN!! Do not come up here unless you want to sit in a chair for 4 and a half hours for terrible service. Ladies professionalism was great but it's very obvious that not everyone there is licensed and when I asked, THEY AGREED. So they're practicing without licenses.... Originally I came in just to soak off my nails because I had work within a couple hours but they assured me I could be done within 2hrs or less so I obliged. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. The lady that did my toes, Monica, didn't have a clue in the world how to do a pedicure and their pedicure menu isn't a true menu. I don't know a single salon that if you're paying $60+ on a pedicure where you don't get hot stones and paraffin wax. She didn't get my callouses off, was scraping my dry skin with a pumice stone, and cut me real bad with a drill. When she started fixing a nail, it was so messed up, I told her gone on a head and stop right there cause I do not have time for the bs. Plus I noticed that the tools she was using weren't packaged. So who's to say if they were sterile or not. Tatiana was very sweet and attentive but these nails are terrible. They're lumpy uneven. Today is day 3 with these nails and one already chipped at the base. Ultimately I felt like I shouldn't have paid a dime but I went ahead and paid $80 + $20 tip but honestly, for over 4 hrs and terrible service, $100 was not worth it. And to think they were gonna try to get me to pay full price. Now my hands and feet hurt and I pray I don't have a serious issue. SMH, SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!! read more

The only reason this place isn't a one star is because my nail tech was so sweet. I can in with previous dip nails on... $15 to soak those off.... The salon is quite literally disgusting. No one is licensed and it's very obvious. I got some gel set with no tips (my natural nails and it was 100+ dollars and I sat there for almost 3 hours. My nail tech said she was required to bring her own tools in and didn't have everything and was borrowing from other people. My nails actually hurt and I need them re done immediately. 3 hours and 100+ dollars later for some of the worst nails I've ever seen. GEL NAILS not even dip. read more

Definitely not returning here. I came for four walk in manicures and one pedicure. We were all directed to wash our hands before service and as I was waiting for half an hour someone else walks in and skips the wait, isn't directed to wash her hands. Came in because I broke a nail and the salon that originally did the nail was closed for vacation. The lady who fixed my nail didn't soak my broken nail off completely for whatever reason and just added more powder on top of the broken nail which made my nail look bumpy. She also wasn't sure how to do powder French tips so another lady came over to do it and I felt the job was rushed because she had another client. Won't be returning. read more

After a long day at work all I wanted to do is relax at a salon and get my nails done . Nothing about this place is relaxing. The lady that serviced me made me feel very unwanted and treated me like I was a chore. She threw my hands around the entire time and filed my nails so harshly that I left with cuts on multiple fingers. I described to her the exact style that I wanted and she tried to do what she thought looked better even though it wasn't what I had asked for. A hispanic lady completed filed my nails like a 10 year old would the first time then someone else took over. She did my nails better but not great. The second time I got the same lady my nails were filled down to the skin AGAIN. And all the toes are a different shape. She can not work with gel polish well. I have had a very good experience with this salon. When I find a place I like a tend to stay loyal until I move to a new town which I do quite often. So I have found here for now. I can say that I love Kim but she was out today so I used Wendy and she has the most gentle hands so between her working on my feet and the messaging chair I was out like a light. So now I am torn between Kim and Wendy...decisions decisions. My down side I have frequented the posh salons that did an alright job but had all the luxury frills and this one doesn't and the floor could be cleaner but they have some of the best nails polish colors. read more

I went in here for a pedicure. ONLY a pedicure. 3 ladies came after me, without an appointment, and were seated/worked on before me. Okay, no biggie. I'm in no rush. Then, the lady "tasked" with working on me tried to upsell me the whole time. No, I don't want a manicure, eyebrows, paraffin, or a design. Didn't I say I don't want a manicure?! Ma'am, come on. Recently got my first pedicure in a long while, and coming here made me realize how much I've missed them! I tried the Rainbow pedi, which was awesome... Was very relaxing indeed; I almost fell asleep! They're very clean and attentive here. They really take care of you, and do things the right away instead of trying to get you in and out quickly. I also ask my manicurist to do something a little different for me: instead of the usual white-tipped nails, I asked if she could make my tips kind of scalloped, or heart-shaped (for Valentine's). She admitted she had never done something like that before, but gave it a try... And it turned out perfect! I was so pleased! After a winter of gym shoes and socks and barefoot charades in my apt, I finally got a pedicure. And NexGen for hands.I finally got fed up when my heel exfoliated my calf. Pros: My feet look nice. All my nails are even. Polish was neatly done. There was no polish on my cuticles. She went to town on the callous remover. It was winter crud everywhere. She did a very good job. I find it hard to find places that work hard on your feet. There was a scrub and hot towel and massage which were good. Chair was the same brand other salons use, but I was so comfortable I dozed off. I got NexGen on my hands. The color is pretty and neatly done. The nails are a bit too long. I pull contact out each night and this is a struggle. I think I'm used to the filing that happens with acrylics and I may have overestimated. The nails are pretty thin they look natural. She cleaned dead skin around my cuticle. (I went somewhere else where that was not included before). Brows. I had my brows done. They are even and they were waxed!!! ( I hate threading). The shape is a bit round But a brown brow pencil can correct that. I worked with Wendy. She was very nice. She took her time to get it right and even stayed after to complete my services instead of rushing me out. She even managed to get this introvert to talk. I highly recommend her. read more

They did a horrible job on my eye brows pne was thicker then the other then the lady says it was messed up when you came in. I haven't had my eye brows waxed in 6 months prior to this. I also had to pluck a few hairs she left behind. When it was brought to there attention the lady at the counter says they almost look even. I will never go back. I never reviews but this was easily the worst pedicure I've ever had. My husband and I both got the $69 pedicure...the guy didn't do the majority of what the description was and when I ask him why he said it's because mens feet don't need the same thing as women's feet. Neither one of us received the 30 minute massage we paid for and the massage we did get was not acceptable.They have no routine when it comes to their pedicures and the guy who did my feet put scrub and mask together...I've been getting pedicures many years and they always do them separate. No matter if it's a woman or male The massage should be the same. They're also unsanitary, I got my legs waxed and the lady used the same stick the whole time, after doing another ladies wax. They also took the piece out the my husbands tub that makes the water circulate and put it directly into mine. DO NOT COME HERE. I've been here 5 times in the past week and a half because they didn't do my set correctly the FIRST TIME. I got a simple set, coffin shaped on Wednesday evening. The lady doing my nails had a slight attitude to begin with. She sits at the first table on the left. I got the set done, they were nice....until Thursday morning when my whole pinky nail came OFF. By that evening, the top coat had dissolved and the white polish was beginning to dissolve as well. Then the sides started to crack...less than 24 hours later. So I went back Saturday 4/2/16 when I was back on that side of town, explained what happened, and so she said she would fix the pinky and repaint them and to come back MONDAY 4/4/16 to get them all done. So I went back, and was told I would have to pay...which WASN'T HAPPENING. I restated the situation and then their amnesia left suddenly. I was THEN told that I would have to come back WEDNESDAY 4/6/16 because the girl that would do it for free (and the same lady that did them the first time) wouldn't be back till then. So I obliged and came back. I was told I would have a full set done....what was actually done was a piss poor super gluing of the now bigger cracks and a repainting. So I said ok at least they repaired them this time. NO. It is now Friday 4/8/16 and I'm currently here demanding them to be soaked off and completely reapplied. This is RIDICULOUS. I should not have been here 5 times in past week and a half. And I also should not have been questioned about how I handle my hands and nails; being accused of being too rough. NO. Either your acrylic is old or you did not apply them correctly to begin with. Don't accuse me of the problem. I also was told that I, the customer, should have asked for them to be thicker...that is YOUR job to KNOW to not make them thin or they'll be more susceptible to breakage. This is the 3rd time that I've tried this place out. The 1st couple of times for a solar set and fill, this last time for gel nails. Each time my nails looked okay, but within literally 3 days, they were chipping, breaking and lifting. I'm not sure if it's the lack of quality of materials that they are using or the lack of knowledge and skill of the manicurists. Either way, my nails look ratchet a few days later. Before last weekend I had been going to L'acqua Nail Spa Lounge in Dallas, off of 75 across from Northpark Mall. On the weekends I simply don't feel like driving to that side of town, seeing that I literally live walking distance from Nail Luxury. For a $35 gel manicure you would expect more. The facilities are not very clean. The polish color I picked was old and gunky so she kept shaking the bottle and it got all over her hands and looked sloppy around my cuticles. I didn't get to take off my ring before she started putting lotion on and now I'll have to go home and clean it because of the build up of lotion throughout it. The only other thing I could say they need to work on is their attitude when customers walk in they all sat there looking at me and I had to just say I want a gel manicure then after some debate of who would have to do it, they finally told me to sit at a seat.
