If I could I would have given this salon a 0 star. I never had that kind of a bad experience in my life. I paid $45 for the pedicure where the lady did not even clean the cuticles. Please look at the $45 pedicure picture I have added which I have done from this salon you can definitely understand what I am talking about by the way they applied the polish and did not even clean it so guess what they have done before applying the polish !! and there are more please READ.This should not happen to anyone. In 10 minutes the whole pedicure was over I swear to god. She just rubbed with soap, put lotion and applied the nail polish that's it. When I was doing my finger nails I told the lady(another lady who did not do the pedicure) that for my pedicure the cuticles were not cleaned, did not scrub, I told her exactly what happened. And that lady started yelling infront of everyone that that's not right she 100% did it, started asking other customers what I was complaining about it was so so so embarrassing i never had experienced that kind of horrible customer service EVER! Then I told her if you don't trust me just check the camera and she did not check the camera. Note:I even paid full money and never said that I don't want to pay or fix it or I will pay less..I even paid the tips. From a customers prospective though it was a horrible horrible horrible experiences I paid for the service. I felt harassed infront of all the people for saying the things they did not do and that I am not satisfied, they started yelling and put me in awkward situation I never imagined would happen in a salon. I just got an acrylic gel set with Sarah and my whole experience was fabulous. She was very nice and we made small talk while she did my nails. I did not make an appointment I just did walk in and was helped right away. The smell of acrylic is not overwhelming. The whole atmosphere is very nice. Overall was only there for about 45 minutes and got a full set for $45! Very happy with the service, will be returning! read more

Ask for John because he's so so kind and he spends time on you, even though they're going to try to push the powder on you because it's faster and more expensive, I had a super duper time. It's definitely on the pricy side, for 54$ I got a full set of coffin acrylics, but that's without tip. There are some things I don't like about my nails but they're not crooked and the color looks nice. read more

first time at this salon, overall not a terrible experience. the owners were very sweet, and we didn't end up having to wait too long as walk-ins (it was a tuesday at noon). the nails themselves are decent. i asked for coffin acrylics, and that's what i got. they were shaped well and the color is pretty, just a little thin. they definitely need new polish. john took a couple of hours to do my nails, but i am glad he put the time in to do so. but the price? i have never paid that high for nails. 70$ not including tip. for coffin acrylics. with no designs, just basic colors. however i will say that my nails have held up very well. no breakage, no cracks, nothing. i even got my finger caught in a door where the nail should've broken off, but it didn't, so kudos to them for that. i just wish they would have been honest about their prices at first. read more

First time going, I ain't going back. Today I went in to get the works and they could have had it all but when they finished my pedicure I had enough!!! When I sat down in the chair I had gel polish on my feet, like any nail spa I been to the either soak them off with the proper chemicals and foil or take the electric drill for faster. she used a hand file and didn't buff them so under my nail polish my nails are just rough she clipped them I didn't ask and when she was cutting the dry skin (which not a good job by the way) she cute me and tried to hurry and put my feet in the water... that's when I noticed she had open soars on her hand I definitely wasn't gonna let her do my eyebrows touching my face with your open soar hands ew. She sloppily applied my new gel polish and I paid 60 my dollars and was leaving when another woman spoke and said I thought you wanted a full set. Instead of saying no thanks I replied no ima go somewhere else, so she could see that I was not pleased and that she was missing out on my money. If you go here maybe they do ok work but not the middle aged lady with the soars on her hands. read more

I don't like writing a bad review. However, my last visit to the salon was unacceptable. I had gone many times before for my acrylic nails and they did a great job. This time I went with a friend to get pedicures. Within the first five minutes the girl filing the bottom my feet filed the side of my foot which hurt incredibly. I drew back my foot ... but relentlessly put it back in the water. Then she did it a second time! I cursed out loud because it hurt so bad and pulled my foot away. I then told her to stop the pedicure and please just paint my toes. She continued to put some lotion on my legs, massage and paint my toes. She was careful to stay away from the small open wound on the side of my foot. But at this point there was no way I could relax. The polish was obviously old, but I didn't say anything. At the end when she asked for payment she wanted to charge me the full amount for my pedicure! When I said something to the owners about being cut by the file, they argued with me about "seeing her doing the treatment" and wanted to be paid for the whole pedicure. Nobody asked about my injury or offer any antiseptic or Band-Aid. The owner refunded $17 (and pretty much threw the receipts at me) So I was charge for the basic pedicure. Four days later my foot still hurts and rubs against every pair of shoes I wear . I understand mistakes happen. But the way things were handled was less than professional. This place is terrible. Only 3 workers and they don't coroperate well. They messed up my mothers nails and went to fix them but left nail polish smeared on her toes. Mine is chipping and coming off after 5 hours. I believe they only put 1 or 2 coats on. I don't suggest this place. read more

Don't bother. Made a reservation for my daughter and I which they gave us a time of 3pm. They took my daughter to start her nails right away.so I sat...and sat. At 4:05 they asked if I was ready for my pedicure. There was no one to even do my pedicure!! I would have sat there 15 minutes soaking before anyone would have ever got to me because the person who would have done it was doing my daughters nails (which BTW Sarah the manager made her bleed!) Then my daughter would have had to sit for 45 mins while I got my pedi. Don't make reservations it's not even worth it. And don't accept reservations when you don't have enough staff. I used to go here all of the time. I will NEVER go back. I'll go to Peace Nails in the Carlisle Pike. read more

worst cistomer service! one of their technicians gave me watered down nail polish previously. i informed them what happened and asked for someone different. instead of them apologizing, they were very rude and said that never happened and one woman was yelling at me saying that!!! it was a horrible experience. now i understand why they barely have any customers. you would be doing yourself an extreme dis service by going there!!!! read more

Do NOT go here. $45 for dip powder (no tip included) is ridiculous. My nails hurt due to them being filed to hell and back. The staff kept wanting to up sell and were pushy. They also got angry when I said I had no cash and claimed they could not accept tip on a card. We all know why they apparently can't accept a tip on a card... I have been with his salon about 4 years and progressively got worse and worse service. There is not a menu with prices. They tell you what you owe. I just had the absolute service from John. With tip I paid 60 dollars. I asked for a clear dip with red on the ends. Coat me 50 plus tip. It is awful. Will not be returning. I get my eyebrows waxed as well and always leave happy. Sometimes I am uncertain which design I want so I let Sara do what she does and never leave disappointed. Thanks for being awesome. read more

Great nail place! Its slightly pricier than others I have been to but just by a few bucks BUT its worth it. They did a great job! Its very clean, the staff was really friendly and they had a bunch of different pedicure options/upgratdes. I had just the regular pedicure and I hope I can go back when I have time for a special treatment. Their massage chairs were awesome! They have a huge selection of polish. My friend got gel nails and they were beautiful! I highly recomend this place!!! *The only odd thing I ran into was that they do not accept tips on their credit card machines so you need cash if you want to tip (they do accept credit card for services/products). read more

I was discriminated against at this salon. I first called in and stated specific what i wanted and was told a price. When i got there the price changed which i was still willing to pay and the nail tech refused to service me. She told me she now has an appointment and doesn't feel comfortable doing my nails. After the tech started my nails they tried to repaint what they started which was a completely different color from my original color. My first visit here which i have lived in the area for 7 years. I am not one that enjoys pulling the race card but i am surely positive that i was discriminated against and was refused service. I will be contacting the county commissioner as well as upper Allen township to report the business. I also plan on calling and speaking to the manager of the business. read more

I would not recommend Beauty Nails for three (3) reasons: 1.) I found the owner (wife) not very nice and rude. Would it hurt to smile and act like you appreciate customers?; 2.) I don't think you "get your money's worth for the service provided in comparison to other Nail Salons in the area. The pedicure was performed quickly. The extent of a "callus treatment" was someone rubbing with a pumice pad a couple times and them putting callus treatment lotion on my feet before leaving; 3.) The tools used were not sanitized/cleaned before use. For my pedicure the individual performing the service did not get a "fresh pack" of tools out. In fact I did not see a sanitizing cabinet. She grabbed/used the tools from the previous customer for which she performed a pedicure. I was actually disappointed in myself for not saying something. I definitely will not return for any services at Beauty Nails. I thought I would give them a try since they were close to where I work, however, I will continue to visit LA Nails in Camp Hill for the more involved service and cleanliness. read more

You are literally throwing away your money. I just spent $100 to get my nails done to literally go home and pick off my nail polish. I have been going here for years since I was little with my grandma. I went friday with my friend she got her nails filled and i got a gel manicure we were also there about 6 weeks ago and everything was good however Friday was an absolute disaster. My 30$ gel manicure was horrible the gel was all on my skin and she tried peeling it back and filing it off. The nail wasnt even covered and some were to much. The place seems exceptionally clean. There isn't the usual strong acrylic smell. Each worker has a clean caddy they use once per customer. Went in for a walk-in pedi. It took 2 hours. My pedicure technician tried to sell me everything on top of my $45 pedi. She knew what she was doing and gave me a good pedicure. I will be back to give it another try. read more

I went here for a simple manicure ($13) with a nail polish that I just purchased. The nail tech helping me told me about the benefits of gel manicure. I appreciated the information but told her i would like to use my own. She didn't stop hounding me about gel, even after I told her I didn't want to spend that much this time ($30). The experience felt more like a sales pitch followed by bitchiness when she finally gave up on the gel. She rushed through the manicure and could have done a better job. I've had decent experiences here before, but won't be back after that one. There are too many other options out there to settle for this type of customer service. read more

Sara does wonderful work, however I just had a terrible experience there. I got my nails done, spent $55 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I wasn't happy with the color on my nails. The color turned a yellow color and was spotted. It looked aweful. I went back the next day thinking they would just have me pick a different color. No, they tried telling me it was a mood changing polish and it looked fine. They did not offer to fix my nails. I was very upset and will not be going back.
