I went to get my hair done by Erica, who is an amazing stylist. My hair color and extensions were perfect. Erica is great because she is clear and concise. She walks you through your extension process, with matching, putting them in, and more. She is very knowledgeable of her trade. I highly recommend Erica for your extension needs! It used to be a good place, but unfortunately, it's not anymore. They definitely seem more interested in making money than providing quality service. I spent over $2,000 on extensions, only for them to end up being poor quality. On top of that, the hairstylist didn't even match the extensions to my natural hair. I had an appointment with Becca, level 6, $98 + tip and although she was very sweet(which is why 2 stars & not one), the style was not. It was a Bob verses what was requested. A little disappointed is an understatement. I neglected 6 red flags. I reached out to the salon with my concern. Although they stated they could get me another consultation with a different stylist, I declined because Becca was already a level 6. I was disappointed that they didn't even offer a reimbursement or even a partial reimbursement. I will not use this salon again and recommend researching all stylists at this location before booking an appointment. Below is the requested hair style, and the results received. I went in for the salon's free 15-minute consultation as a new client. Unfortunately, it felt unprofessional and left me feeling worse, not welcomed or informed. When I tried to book an appointment afterward, I was told that because I'm new I had to pay 50% up front through an app, and I had 30 minutes to submit the payment or lose the appointment. The combination of a short consultation and a timed, app-only deposit requirement felt very high-pressure. I'm posting this as a heads-up: if you're not comfortable with strict payment deadlines or upfront deposits, ask about their new-client policy before you schedule the consultation. She's fun to talk to and does a really great job plus I never feel like she should be done when she is. The time goes fast! All of the staff are so fun to talk to. I recently reached out on Yelp to multiple salons looking for a stylist familiar with scalp eczema (seborrheic dermatitis). Jenny's was the first to respond and meet all of my criteria! I was in desperate need of a hair cut (it had been 10 months!) due to fear/anxiety and embarrassment over what the salon staff would say about my chronic scalp condition. The owner's response was super friendly, the staff at the salon were welcoming and upbeat despite my appointment being at 8pm. I am a former client of Morgan's. I saw many photos of her hair transformations and thought they were beautiful. I went for my consultation and she had great ideas, even though it would be quite costly, I agreed with her plan on how to make color corrections to my hair. I explained that I had concerns about not damaging my hair as it was very long and healthy. She assured me she would take care and use products that are gentle. The 1st appointment took 5 hours. My hair looked very pretty at the end. It wasn't exactly what we discussed but I was still pleased with the results. I spent over $500 because I purchased every product she recommended to care for my new color to keep it healthy. After 2 weeks it was clear my hair was very damaged. Not only that, the color had faded. After 2 more weeks the highlights were completely gone. I used the expensive products she sold me. I waited another 4 weeks and made another appt. I explained my concerns and Morgan gave me several excuses as to what could have happened. She recommended that we reapply to highlights (at my expense). I left the salon $250 poorer. Again, after 2 weeks the color faded and my hair was so dry and brittle I had more hair in the drain after showering than on my head. I spoke with a few friends and found out this is common knowledge that Jenny's uses sub-par products and that their colors are TEMPORARY NOT PERMANENT. I was never told the dye Morgan used on my hair was a temporary color. I never would have spent hundreds of dollars on temporary coloring. Please beware!!!! Now I have damaged hair and dish water blond hair. Thanks Jenny's for ruining my formerly healthy hair and emptying my wallet. read more

I got my hair trimmed here about a year ago. Finally my layers have grown on and don't look so stringy. I asked for a trim and bangs and upon leaving with my hair curled thought everything looked good. But once I got home and showered the next day I realized how choppy and uneven my cut was! This was just a gift certificate I had used so thankfully I didn't spend my own money. I had to go back to my regular stylist to fix this mess on my head! Not the worst place. I absolutely love Jenny's Salon. I go to both Betzi and Madison and they are both incredible hair stylists. This is pretty much the only salon I've been to for the last 3 years. I live in the DC area and refuse to find a salon closer to me because I'm so happy with the service and products at Jennys. I had a young stylist do color on me & it turned out horribly. Very brassy & I showed two pictures of what I wanted. Had to go back the next day for 2 hours to get it corrected., now a month later, my bangs are very dry, brittle & an off color. Love the stylists but the management is awful. I have spent thousands of dollars there in the past 8 or 9 years and the audacity of the salon requiring me to give my credit card information for their records -- allowing them the approval to use it at their own discretion -- is downright insulting. I'll be searching for somewhere else to spend my hard-earned money even if it means abandoning my favorite stylist. They also need to train their receptionists in how to handle their policies because they clearly haven't been given the guidance that they need to deal with clients. read more

I called Jenny's after a great recommendation from a friend. I had been going to a very prestigious salon in Camp Hill and wanted to go blonde for summer. Hands down, this is the best salon I've been to in years. I've found The One. The salon is well maintained, clean, cute, and stocked with wonderful products and boutique items. The front desk staff has never failed to get me an appointment when I need it and always go above and beyond to accommodate special requests for events and trips. My stylist is Brittaney Franklin and she's amazing, like award winning amazing. Had a hair cut and style yesterday, I selected a higher price range thinking it would be would be worth the cost. My stylist sped through the appointment. Didn't seem to have time to listen to what I wanted. Had some of my hair pulled out during the wash which was painful, she did say sorry when I involuntarily reacted to the pain, and had to ask for water temperature adjustments twice. The cut was mediocre at best and I had her restart the cut partway through, taking off another inch. Blow dry was ugly. I left with what looked like my hair on a bad hair day but 4 inches shorter. Won't go back or recommend to others. Overall a bad experience. read more

Although the staff was very friendly. They did not give me what I want. I asked for a ash brown and I basically got grey / green hair. They tried to tell me what they gave me looked exactly like the picture which it clearly didn't. I thought it was in my head until everyone I FaceTimed told me it looked nothing like the picture or what I asked for and that it was looking a little green and very grey . Not only that I asked for a balayage and asked to not start near the roots to which they ignored and started at the roots. They were kind enough to fix it but I specifically asked not to make my hair black and just try to make it a medium -light brown and even showed a picture. To which my hair turned out looking JET BLACK ! I cried all day since this was right before my birthday. I also didn't appreciate the ramen hair comments made as well I came in to fix my hair that hasn't been dyed since last year august for a reason I understand it's not the best but making the same comments about how bad it looks throughout the whole process was not necessary. The picture below is what I asked vs what I got and then the what color I wanted it to be fixed to (brown) to the jet black hair I walked out with (looks even darker in person ). Spent 275 for all this :/ and damaged hair and would like to add sat in there for 7 hours. Lastly they were not gentle my hair was getting pulled and yanked and now my scalp just hurts in general :/ read more

I absolutely love this place and love my nail technician CaityMae. I drive all the way from Laurel, Maryland to see her every month, which is a little under 2 hours away. I will never be going to another nail technician because she always does such a great job and takes good care of my nails. My nails always last till my next appointment and the polish never chips. My appointments are usually 4 to 5 weeks between each other. I first started seeing CaityMae when I couldn't find a nail technician before my wedding. She took me last minute the day before my wedding and my nails were beautiful. She always has such great designs as well. Last time I requested a Game of Thrones theme for the premiere of GoT, they were so cool and I got so many compliments on them. My Aunt has been seeing CaityMae for years and has even traveled to multiple places till CaityMae settled down working at Jenny's Salon. You will never be disappointed having CaityMae do your nails.
