I'm from Northern California and my husband and I came down to finish up his Dads estate. My legs have been hurting since three weeks ago when we spent two weeks cleaning out the house. Sunday afternoon, I searched for a local place to get a pedicure and the Beauty Station was able to get me in the same day. When I showed up for my appointment, I was greeted by two people offered something to drink and/or a snack. The atmosphere was pleasant and the Beautician Alyssa was very friendly and did a wonderful job! In fact, it's the best pedicure I've ever had! I'm really disappointed to have paid $80 for a hairstyle that fell apart within 10 minutes, especially for a wedding. My hair felt damaged and she didn't even use heat protectant spray. She used a straightener to curl my hair and told me to trust her vision. I had to spend another $70 at Target to fix it myself. I was so upset I cried while driving. I called the salon 6 to 7 times and they didn't answer. I only had one hour left after I got my hair done from them to get ready which made me a little bit late to the ceremony because I had to go to the store to shop and buy all the tools and I still need to do my make up. The salon called me back in the evening and told me they could redo it--but I was already at the event and I'm not local, so that wasn't an option. As a full-time working mom, this was supposed to be a rare moment to treat myself, and it turned into a stressful experience instead. I trusted the stylist to add volume, but it wasn't done as promised. You were my one chance to feel confident and pampered, and it turned into disappointment. To also not be offered a refund is ridiculous. I would rather have driven to Ulta and paid $80 for the same service and get better results. I also tipped $10 as well. While my nail tech was kind, I was left disappointed with the results. I asked for short, red french acrylic with a present bow design. I got a fill, but the polish doesn't match, making it obvious where the new fill meets the old acrylic. Additionally, the design I requested wasn't what I received. Due to time constraints, I let it slide, but I wish she had put more effort into ensuring the work looked polished and cohesive. Overall, she was very nice, but the service didn't feel worth what I paid, especially considering I also left a tip. read more

I would give this place a million starts if I could. I was at the vet next door waiting on results for my pooch. I called in to see if I could walk in and get my brows threaded. They let me bring my pooch in, I sat, got my brows done! They have the best people running that place. It's really frustrating when you pay for a service that's not good at all. I got it a full set and unfortunately I can't remember the name of the nail technician, starting with the shape, I told her to fix for the almond shape and she couldn't, the cuticles are all showing, no care, I have dry hard top coat on my skin, if you look at the photos, on top of my nails they are not even filed properly, with no level like a normal nail. My daughter and I had our nails "dipped" there yesterday. They did not push down the cuticle so it looks like our nails had already grown out for a week already. the dipping was left too thick and not hardened and my daughters "french dip" was not straight and looked terrible. When we moved to the Bonsall area I needed a new hairdresser. I hadn't been for several months so I just took the first available beautician. Naz. She did a great job, my husband loved the cut, and she turned my short silver , dry hair into a flattering shaggy pixie. She has had 20+ years cutting hair and it shows. I have been back twice and each cut has grown out well so no rush to get it cut, great for my finances. The nail services look great, very spa like and quiet atmosphere. My hair hadn't been cut in 3 years and I had a style in mind but Devan was completely honest with me in how it would look with my hair type and what not. So I went with the professionals hair advice and I'm very glad I did. My hair feels absolutely refreshed. Definitely better than I wanted and with minimal hair styling needed to make it look great because I can't be bothered to do my hair every day (I mean, it took me 3 years to get a hair cut even) Anyways, I won't wait that long again. I've tried several times to get my nails done because it's a convenient location, but they never have any availability for walk-ins or even same-day appointments if you call. I get that, but I wish they at least had a way to schedule a nail appointment without calling a few days in advance. My experience at this salon initially was really nice. I went in for a mani/pedi every 2-3 weeks regularly for about 3-4 months. On my last visit however there was a major, painful and expensive issue that occurred. My last pedicure was fine initially, however the next day my second toe on my right foot was red and extremely swollen. I iced and soaked it in salt water that night however the next day it was worse and extremely painful. I went to the ER. I was diagnosed with an infection of some sort. They lanced it (extremely painful) gave me 2 antibiotics and a topical cream. 3 days later it still wasn't healing. I went back to the ER. They lanced it again, biopsied the fluid. I was diagnosed with (STAFF Infection) I was put on stronger antibiotics for 3 weeks. Because it was my toe...which obviously my foot bones and toe bone are extremely vulnerable because of the infection, I have been under drs care for quite awhile now. The infection is gone...I'm still dealing with the swelling and discoloration of my toe and foot. The dr who initially cared for me said the infection was started in my cuticle. Either going to deep or tools that weren't clean. Either way, I got this infection from this salon. They did refund my money for the pedicure. HOWEVER, my life has been extremely disrupted by this event. I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I've been through the past several weeks. Scary, painful and should never have happened. I would not recommend this salon for nail care. Obviously someone or something wasn't to protocol, or this never would have happened. I contemplated on giving this review, I'm really not doing this to damage this salon, I'm reviewing this salon because patrons need to know what has happened due to their negligence. I'm new to the area and this is the closest nail salon. I've been three times and I absolutely love it. First of all, I can make appointments online, which is HUGE for me. The most important thing about this place is they do whatever I ask. Example - last time I got my acrylic nails filled I said do NOT make them thick. They were perfect. Today I got a gel manicure and asked them not to file my nails as I had already done it last night - absolutely no issue. Today I saw Vivian. Her paint job was flawless. I hate when people don't paint all the way to the cuticle, and she went all the way, the polish was even, my toes are perfection, I mean the whole thing was fantastic. Very Disappointing! Not one to leave reviews it Took me a couple days to leave a review but , I went to this salon worth my daughter for a much needed mani and pedi. Charged $38 for kids mani ! I tried so hard to like it I wanted to like it but It seemed rushed all my nails were bumpy, not filed throughly! She seemed like she just wanted to finish and get her money. I ask for Dip powder and seemed like she did really know what see was doing i paid $145 plus $10 tip ! It was totally not worth it! My nail broke within 2 days and I was always being gentle. If i could Rip off these nails and return them I would ! And my pedi , French tip ? Uneven ? I could do better ! Sad I haven't lasted 5 days and im already taking my nails off waste off money ! Clean & great service!!! Everything they use for manicures & pedicures are clean &/or new... Kay was an excellent technician- did my toes beautifully with no pain. No a speck of dust in the whole place & there are tasty treats & refreshments for thirsty & munchie customers. This would be an ideal place to have a retreat day with the girls. One of the most beautiful salons I've ever seen. Very clean and inviting. The ladies are very friendly as well. I'm from northern California and the pricing was similar to where I usually go ($30-$40). I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure the day before my wedding. Beautiful work but the gel polish started chipping at the bottom a few days after my wedding. Not a huge problem since they were intact for the big day.
