Today, this was the 2nd time, that my booking "disappeared" and in addition to my Oct booking that I had made in advance was not on record. Bookings I had not made previously (they had e-mailed me AUTO booking me for specific times without asking if I could make them and despite me e-mailing back to say I couldn't make those times) were ironically in the calendar. This has been frustrating because it's frankly disrespectful of my time as a customer. A honestly terrible customer experience and even if I were to do a peel, would be outweighed by the terrible booking process - with a chemical peel, there are many other alternatives and many other clinics that can offer the same service.

After some persuasion, I agreed to have a makeover done during one of the 'ladies' nights' that a friend of mine had organized. Rachel Renna was the makeup artist that they had hired for the evening. It didn't take long for me to figure out that Rachel is no ordinary makeup artist. She is the next big thing (mark my words). She is one of the most talented artists I have ever come across, and that's including all the encounters I've had with makeup artists throughout my TV career. The thing about Rachel is that she just 'gets' her clients' style. She had one look at me and knew exactly what I would love and what I would hate. I'm not comfortable with telephones but was able to make an appointment by emailing Lauren. She was able to fit me in on the day I needed. Lauren was great! She makes you feel comfortable while doing your makeup. And the makeup was amazing! I needed something natural and she was able to do it. It looked good on in person and looked even better on camera. When she was done, she asked if I would like anything changed or added but it was perfect just the way it was. The price is $65 for makeup but compared to the $80 I paid somewhere else last time, it was a great price. I would definitely go back if I wanted my makeup done.
