I come from a former Soviet country where my technician had a physician's degree and dermatologist training, so it was very hard to find someone equally skilled and sophisticated here in New York. I tried some of those fancy Manhattan places where they overcharged me, scarred me, worked very slowly, and complained that my hair had fair roots and was too light for them to see properly. Virginia exceeded even the high standard set by my first technician. She's fast, precise, doesn't need any direction and simply knows exactly what to do. After that, I continued treatments with Vanessa and repeatedly requested my treatment file to understand what settings were being used, since the results clearly weren't effective--especially after I had just spent another $1,400. Despite being told multiple times that my file would be sent, I didn't receive it until April 19--only after my services were abruptly canceled. I was told this was due to "profanity" and being "aggressive," which I find incredibly unfair given the situation. After years of loyalty, significant financial investment, and lack of results, frustration is a natural response. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability and transparency. Instead of working with long-term clients to resolve concerns, the focus seems to be on selling more packages rather than delivering results. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Afterward, I was taken to a private room to sign a consent form outlining the procedure. Katie then applied numbing cream to my face, and after it took effect, she removed it and began using the laser to treat my skin. Despite the numbing cream, the treatment was still painful, and my face burned a lot afterward, which is a normal part of the process. Following the laser session, I was brought to a separate room where I used cold air and an iced face roller to cool my skin for about 20 minutes before leaving. The treatment is on the pricier side, but the results are truly fantastic--Although the procedure was painful and the healing process took about seven days, it was absolutely worth it in the end.
