The shop uses Aluram, Amika, and other products - dependent on your needs. You can purchase many of them as well. There is usually a very friendly shop dog that hangs out with mom all day. I do not know the jargon so maybe that would help. But, the service and execution have always seemed passible. I once had to cancel an appointment and was charged $25. I understood even though it was something that couldn't be helped on my end. My dog was hit by a car the day before. This last time (a year later) I was asked a few hours before my appointment if I could change to the next morning. I was slightly annoyed but said I could do that. However, the next day, my cat this time was very sick. I had to take her into the vet. The salon didn't answer. I was charged the full price of a haircut- $55. I texted. I emailed. I called. Nothing. I don't understand policies like this. I wasn't given but a few hours notice and was unable to give the same due to them rescheduling me for a morning appointment. They are unresponsive even if to tell me there's nothing they will do. It's very strange for a business. I have receipts and vet bills as proof. They all seem young so could stand to learn and I hope they do and adjust to be more fair in their business practices.

I never add any heat to my hair unless I'm getting my…read morehair blown out, and one day I was going to get braids from my aunt, and she told me my hair was damaged from all the heat they put in my hair; it was also very dry. Also, my friend and I went to get our hair done today, and a lady told my friend to go to the Black lady. When my friend was walking over to the Black lady, she shook her head and said no, she isn't taking my friend. Also, they charged my friend 78 dollars when mine was 60 plus the tip, and she and I had gotten the same thing, so I'm confused how hers was more than mine and she didn't tip. The only thing my friend got different from me was her ends trimmed, and that would mean she charged 18 dollars to trim ends, which is way too much; we could've asked my dad to do that for free.

Not great today... 1 hour massage...indicated areas that bothered me, not concentrated on. Not my normal relaxing massage. As I was leaving I gave her a tip which I thought was very reasonable, instead she told me I owed her double the amount...$10 tip for 1/2 hour, $20 for 1 hour!! My 1 hour massage was paid for as a gift, yet I still had to pay a $20 tip.... Will never go back, so disappointing !!!

She is wonderful with color. Most recently we went super short and I tell you what I get compliments on my cut at least once a month from various strangers. I used to think her strength was color, but truthfully it's both. She can translate what I'm asking for to something that works for my hair type. She does continuing education with Aveda often and I trust her implicitly to know what's right for my hair. She has me looking good always! My review of Evergreen - I only ever deal with Nadine, but I notice how happy she is there. The other stylists and front desk folks appear nice and the vibe is good. It's an Aveda salon and they have all the newest products. My only complaint would be the bathroom. Thanks to the complimentary diet cokes, I have to use it often and it always looks like it could use a touch up. I think it's the minuscule trash can - get a bigger one that way two paper towels won't fill it up and make it look like the bathroom hasn't been cleaned!
