I had the unfortunate experience of hiring this company for lawn mowing, snowplowing and fixing up…read moremy landscaping beds. I was very disappointed in their quality of work and professionalism. In my opinion it was a very bad experience. They were supposed to trim all my bushes and trees. They forgot to trim several of them and the others were done haphazardly. They ripped out flowers that were perennials because they thought they were weeds. Many areas were missing weed barrier, even though it was in the contract. The company admitted that the job needed more mulch, but because they underbid the job and was losing money, they would not provide any more mulch. They also admitted that their workers were new and not properly trained. In my opinion they harassed us for more money because they could not estimate the job properly. The owner continously told us of a toll bill for $1800 he owed to gain our sympathy. The owner assured us that he had arborists working for him but this statement appears to be false looking at the completed project. For snowplowing, they had to be constantly called and asked when they were coming out. The company provided an expired certificate of insurance to trick me into signing a contract. They tried to tell me that a car insurance certificate would be just as good. I have a copy of the car insurance certificate the company gave me. This company has had numerous people complain about their snowplowing service, but they delete all of their negative comments and 1 star reviews off of their social media pages. This company was hired by my elderly neighbor to cut her grass. She is 90 years old and has a hard time seeing and hearing. She paid them a lot of money. They rarely show up to cut her grass. They never even provided her with a receipt for her money or a contract. Her family had to get involved to help her. They refused to bag the grass clippings after they cut my lawn even though the contract stated they would. The grass looked atrocious with all the loose grass on it. The company canceled my contract and wanted to give it to his friend. He was going to pay him a fraction of what I paid him and keep the rest for himself. The pictures submitted with this review is how this company actually left my lawn. When I explained to them that is was unacceptable they proceeded to cancel my grasscutting contract. Most businesses when they get negative reviews they get upset and do everything in their power to have the reviews removed. Instead businesses should look at the negative reviews as a learning tool to improve their business and their employees. People really do not want to put down local businesses but they most certainly do not want to be taken advantage of. In response to the owner's comments: The fictitious accusations that this company has made instead of responding to the actual problems with his company should tell you everything you need to know about who you would be hiring

This company quotes $25/hr. Three people arrived in a regular sedan. They were all very polite…read more They arrived at noon and I had run out of chainsaw oil by 3:30. Allen, the father, told me that he hasn't used his chainsaw in a while and did not check it, despite the fact that I made it very clear that a chainsaw would be needed for this job. They had a push mower, but I didn't mind that. It did a pretty good job. I'm just very frustrated because I told them that I had to leave at 3:30 to go to a vet appointment. I knew they were not close to being done and I'd be back in appx 45 minutes. That's when I was told they were done due to the chainsaw. I don't believe that, as they were told (twice) prior to their arrival they would need a chainsaw. I believe that they just didn't want to work anymore. I looked around for the oil he needed but I didn't have any. I overheard the female ask the male "if he discussed the rate with {me}". I spoke up and said it's $25/hr. She said no, it's $75/hr! I said that I don't have that much money snd she asked how much I could afford and that they don't want to leave their customers broke. I gave them $160 and was told that I could repay the extra $100 at a future appointment plus $40/flat rate for everything that still needs to be finished on another date appx 2 weeks from that day. What should have cost appx $100 was going to cost $300. That's extortion and theft. Above the schedule, it said that if there were 3 people it'd cost $75/hr. Directly under that was their availability and showed $25/hr so there was no way for me to know that it was going to be $75/hr! Not once was the price discussed in our conversation. After they left, they said that they could finish in a few weeks. I scoffed at that and they said they could come out on Labor Day. Tbh, I didn't want them back on my property because of the finance scheme and they left me to deal with 8-9 of the most flimsy clear bags of heavy trimmings. I believe they owe me money and I am actually thinking about filing a report with Yelp! about this situation and pictures. Get the price in writing before they DO ANYTHING. Make sure they take the bags. Make sure they have oil and gas for their chainsaw and lawnmower. They will come up with something to stop working after a few hours. Make sure to ask everything possible IF you choose to use them. Realize that there will be 3 people in a regular sedan. Not a work van or pickup truck. They took the money I had for the vet and still wanted more despite showing them their own texts and them failing to discuss the actual price and letting me know that I was going to be stuck with a lot of bags on my front lawn. Not happy. I still want the extra $72.50 overpayment back and all of the bags removed. **Being transparent: There was an incident with a nasty neighbor because of a domestic situation at my home. I called 911 and made sure they felt safe and gave them so many apologies (I can't control other people) but I did make sure they were ok and asked if they wanted to file charges against my neighbor which they both refused to do. The female cut her hand and was given immediate medical attention and access to my bathroom with all bandage/meds required.
