Our sales rep showed us around the floor introducing different mattress to us and provided us with pillow covers to really try out the mattress while laying on it. We ended up buying a queen mattress that was one of their never been opened & never been used floor models. Because it was an older model, we got quite a steal on this mattress. Fast forward a couple of weeks, the mattress arrives and my sleep is amazing. The only downside is that I now wanted a King bed for my bedroom. Not a problem - Sleep Country guarantees X days of exchange if you're not happy with your mattress. So what did I do? Exchanged the Queen mattress for the exact same mattress in King size. Of course we had to top up with more money since we're getting a bigger bed, but the process was seamless. Chatted with a rep, and scheduled a date where our new mattress was going to be delivered while they also took our old mattress (only slept on it for one week!). The store has mattress and pillow liners for each customer that comes through to keep with public health measures and safety. Customers can take the liners along with them as they try the different mattresses to find the right one for them. We didn't know anything about choosing the right mattress for us and we had a really helpful store associate, Jason, take us through the journey of choosing the right mattress. Jason was really thoughtful and knowledgable about the details that are important to consider for mattress selection. I never knew how much these details mattered! The final price we got for the mattress was really really competitive and they also have a period where they will price match if the mattress goes on sale in their store. Feel free to negotiate as I am sure that is what they expect as well if you are willing. Jason helped us narrow down our mattress choice from the modern spring coil versus the memory foam along with a great quoted price. We did some thinking and with a small downpayment, our mattress of the future was secured. The mattresses are made to order so you may not be able to take one home the same day. So in the end, I do recommend you come to Sleep Country as an option to consider when looking for a new mattress.

I personally only buy dishwasher safe / microwaveable ceramics (so I actually use them) and a lot of the stock they have fits that criteria. The rest of the store is a whole labyrinth of home goods like beauty, kitchen tools, home organization, snacks, and craft goods. Again some rare finds exist, so it is well worth a look. I personally bought calligraphy stuff that was cheaper and more convenient here than buying it online, and they had related supplies like writing pads, practice paper, etc. The Japanese trinket/souvenir section stands out to me because you can get things that are rare to chance upon elsewhere. The ceramic darumas are well priced, and I've bought other cute traditional figurines there. Overall there's a lot to see in this store, to the point where it feels overwhelming to browse all sections. I keep my visits targeted and short so I don't wear myself out looking at 200 pairs of similar looking chopsticks. Also, sometimes the prices in this store are questionable, but I browse knowing overall it's fair (case in point for weird pricing - tiny plate $2, significantly larger medium size plate for $2.25). I don't live close by so I come around whenever I'm in the area.

Glassware, sachets, funky knick-knacks and baubles. Artwork and benches. Things you won't find elsewhere. All the cool stuff that you see in model homes, plus stationery, linens and baby gifts. It's all here, and at discount prices. If you're into home décor and gifts, it's well worth checking out Vendables.

I ended up buying a 3D bunny you can DIY with paper for $20, the one i wanted (the dinosaur shown in my picture) was out of stock and unfortunately i could not buy the one on display either. I gave the woman at the front my name and phone number for in case they ever got it in-stock again for the future. I went to this store about 5 months ago and till now haven't received any calls so they must not carry that item anymore. One of my other favourites was the light up shadow box picture frames (also posted in my pictures). I would've bought one if i had a spot to put it at home just wasn't sure where to put it. (correct me if I'm wrong and that they do it during the year too?) I recently picked up a few things here and they were all neatly and meticulously wrapped up, placed in a nice little gift bag with some gift paper on top. Their products always change and it is never the same. I can't say so for the electronics because I don't usually browse in that section but for sure the knick knacks and little gifts change as I've went back often just to see what's new and different.
