I went bowling with the kids this afternoon at Beaver - Vu. The bowling alley is quite nice and very kid friendly. They have different bowling options. You can either buy a family package "by the hour" or pay per game. The bowling shoes we rented where on good shape. Thanks God! I hate nothing more then outworn old ones.. lol We got some fries and drinks while we where bowling from the snack bar. The snack bar was very clean - big plus. I overheard the two staff members talking about having all the dishes done for the oncoming shift to make it easier for them. I thought that was really nice and tells me that there must be a good team work. We had a good time and the kids really liked it.

This place is pretty big, so even when it's busy there are always lots of lanes open. Usually there are lots of parties here. When that happens all the lighter balls are taken and you're left with the heavier bowling balls. The price for a shoe rental is less than $3 and the type of shoes they rent out are the kinds where you tie instead of the velcro kind. It was easy to navigate the computer to add in your names. And we had fun here. If you're interested they serve pizza, beer, hot dogs and more here. All for a fairly low price. There's a whole bar too. And a pro shop. Tons of parking.

I had a CLOSING scheduled at 1:00 PM and wanted to celebrate with a BADA$$ grilled cheese before we started! There is no better place to get that sandwich than the bowling ally... ALANA was on the grill and did not disappoint. That grilled cheese and french fry combo was one of the best I've ever had!!! Thank you so much!! That's how you celebrate a win!!!

Fun bowling alley. We came in on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. The place wasn't very busy so we were able to get a lane pretty quick. The lady Wendy behind the counter was great about running through all our options since we had a big group (about 11). We opted for the normal pay by game option but she was right if we had all paid together and gone with the family 2 hr special it probably would have saved us some $$. The lane had some issues (the bumper kept getting stuck up for all the bowlers not just the kiddos) and they didn't have a kids ramp (it had been borrowed and not returned yet.) The food was decent and it was prepared pretty quickly. I really enjoyed the pizza (so much so I almost forgot to take even the photo I snapped. We also tried the tater tots (a must) and the cheese curds. The cheese curds were okay but they had a little too much batter and a little too little cheese curd for me. All in all it was a fun time for the family. We would come again if the family wanted to.

This placed is AWLAYS packed- or looks it from the outside. Seriously, I always thought this was the go-to spot for bowlers in Beavercreek because the parking lot is ALWAYS packed brim with cars. In actuality, it's only decently busy. On a Friday evening, my party of 4 was one of three- maybe even four if I'm being generous- parties. The lanes were clean, the chairs/tables were comfortable enough for a 9 months pregnant behemoth (me!) and the machines used to track scores were kinda dated, but still in good working order. The staff were hospitable enough and the bathrooms were decently clean!, despite the green stuff on the ceiling. The only really annoying thing was that EVERYTHING we wanted to order was unavailable. Literally. Couldn't even get pizza. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.

Planning your wedding is never easy. My wedding on Labor Day weekend 2018 was a three-day…read moremulticultural event and we were fortunate to have Samantha every step of the way. I had initially hired Samantha to perform a design session for 1 of the days of the wedding. Soon, I realized I needed her full planning package. Samantha easily and quickly switched the packages and services. She sends a wedding task list which is catered to white Christian weddings (it has items like tanning services) but I just ignored those, and focused on the relevant items. We had a clause to add on any additional hours needed. Which I took full advantage of! I added services for Samantha to track and handle the wedding budget, which fell to the wayside. Nor did she really take on managing. When it became clear we would need additional hours for the weekend due to the magnitude of the events, Samantha was mindful of our costs without sacrificing value. She is well versed on the wedding etiquette and despite never having planned an Indian wedding before, she pulled it off with minimal hitches. I am sure has she gains more experience in various weddings and cultures, she will grow and be even better than she is. When my cousin offered to help coordinate the events, she gladly accepted the needed help. Samantha went out of her way to help me at the end of her reception night, when I fell sick. She is vast in her connections with local vendors and on how to get a bang for your budget. Her creativity on how to reuse decorations and flowers saved so much stress and costs. My biggest concern on the wedding weekend was the DJ. I wish I had explicitly expressed to Samantha to feel empowered to take control on handling him, and had been on a conference call with her and him to ensure things ran smoothly. But throughout the wedding, Samantha was cool and calm and took charge on the situation. Her business is growing and is well deserved. There are times when she was not able to answer emails right away because she was out of town for another wedding, workshop or vacation. As the wedding approached, vendors would ask for a timeline and conference call to go over the details. We were able to coordinate those requests with Samantha - she does get back to her clients and vendors, even if it means a conference call at 8:30 PM or on her way to the airport. I wish I booked her full services at the get-go. However her full package does not always equate to hours needed. Hence our purchasing additional hours, after purchasing the full service package. At the end of the day, Samantha wants her couples to be happy and she tries her best. And is focused on that, despite the noise from family input. I regret on not utilizing her skill and creatively fully. In my need to not want to bother her, or stress her out on chaos of an Indian wedding, I didn't involve her in designing the cake or cake-topper, and wish I had. And not worried about putting her off. She is capable if not short staffed. Definitely book her for your wedding.

I cannot recommend Sam and SJE highly enough! As a bride living in San Francisco and planning a…read morewedding in Yellow Springs, Ohio (at my parent's house), the seamless dot connecting that Sam facilitated for us was honestly above and beyond. She did an amazing job calling on all of her experience to fill in gaps where I was looking for advice or direction (sometimes gaps I didn't even realize at the time she was filling), all while empowering me to spend time and energy on the pieces or details that I cared most about. Many things she almost does in her sleep, not even realizing the slack she is picking up - coordinating who would set the tables, compiling all of my contracts, holding a planning session with our officiant, and keeping me on schedule with things like finalizing timelines and getting my seating chart done. I can be picky (I like what I like!) and Sam picked up on my aesthetic almost immediately and represented my interests to my partners and vendors effectively in meetings and discussions that I was not able to participate in being so far away. In addition to her incredible attention to detail (did I mention she did all of our calligraphy and styled the details photo shoot on the day of?! ), she is truly passionate about what she does and that comes through over, and over again. She is not fatigued by doing weddings and events nonstop, but rather she is energized by them and always looking to do things differently and innovate. Wedding weekend would not have been the perfect experience that it was without SJE and her incredible staff. On our wedding day, I spent time with friends and family, drank champagne, and focused on the special moments and she made that happen. Sam also ran the rehearsal like an absolute pro - showing up with [beautiful] weekend itineraries for the whole wedding party - without me asking for those! I cannot recommend SJE highly enough.

PARTY DREAMS REVIEW…read more Although SOME of the decor we used was decent, there were a few issues on some items. The triangle arch was broke and we had to have one of the groomsmen bring power tools the morning of the wedding to fix it. I addressed this with Jenny, and she said "You don't need tools to put it together", to which I replied "It was broke, so yes, we needed tools to repair it" It was BROKE." She shrugged it off. We rented tall clear vases that were dirty and had to be cleaned inside and out before we could put them out, and there was quite a few of them. I told her about this, unfazed again, and I told her she has a cleaning fee in her contract, so why are items dirty when going out if she requires them to be clean when returned? Again, she seemed unfazed. We rented the large "LOVE" letters, and had to buy 92 batteries because most of the lights didn't work, when I told her about this, she said "I'm not responsible for batteries" to which I replied "So you send out product that are broke and don't know if they work" Again, unfazed. Even after replacing batteries, some of the lights were very dim, compared to others, again, she requires things to be in working order, but yet, there were several things we had to fix or repair before we could use them. When picked up the items, we were almost through loading the truck, and she literally sat the last items outside and said "I have to go" and left us there. I politely asked "Can you help us load into the U-Haul?" She replied "No. that's the point of this business, YOU do it yourself" with a touch of attitude. I couldn't use some of the greenery, as if was very cheap looking. When we returned the items, we sat the items out back, where she put them and left (not all items) and she said "Are you going to bring this stuff in?" So, my son and his friend did, as they were taking this LOVE letters in my sons friend asked "How would you like me to set this V?" To which she replied "Well, how do YOU make a V? My God, where did you go to school?" That was a very rude and insulting comment, especially to someone you don't even know! As we were finishing up the last of bringing the items back I asked "Can you help grab your products to bring them in?," she replied "No, I have to log all this stuff in" So she wouldn't lift a hand to get HER property back in her store. In one of the cardboard boxes that has items in it, there was a LARGE roach...I cannot say 100% it came from her place...but I can't say it didn't either. So...needless to say, we will NOT be using Party Dreams Dayton ever again...shame, because we throw a lot of parties!
