It never disappoints, the staff of full throttle are very thorough on explaining the rules of everything. The go karts are fun because they go 40 mph, the virtual reality has never been working properly so I havent got to try which stinks. The pointless paintball is pain with no paint lol but it's a good time none the less, they also have a jelly version meant for younger kids but its such a small area it wasnt very fun. Drinks are delicious especially the one with Hennessy.

We had a group of 8 guys for a bachelor party. Apparently we weren't the only ones because we saw…read moreseveral different bachelor parties throughout the day. So in addition to birthdays, this is a good place for groups. There are quite a number of different courses and course types. Some smaller with limited cover, a larger one complete with plywood buildings, and ones in the woods. The package we got allowed for all day, any course. So we tried them all. My favorites were the ones in the woods and the one with buildings. But definitely try them all, why not. My most helpful tip would be to get the mid-priced sniper gun. Some of us got the cheapest gun and others got the most expensive automatic gun. The cheapest had poor accuracy. The automatic had the same short barrel so its accuracy wasn't any better plus it goes through ammo much quicker. After a few rounds, I paid the extra $5 to upgrade to the sniper which gave much better results (all they do is screw on a longer barrel). Our ref was pretty laid back. He even led us to an open field and let us play "civil war re-enactment" where we stood in 2 lines 20 paces from each other and took one shot at the other line. If you didn't get hit, you took a step closer and did it again until no one was left. This was fine until I got shot directly on the nipple from about 10 yards away... not pleasant. There isn't really much in terms of food. So if you plan on staying all day, pack something. Also, as with every day this summer, we went when it was a million degrees out. They sell sports drinks but also had a free water cooler for everyone. But I've rambled enough. For $35 (again, go with the sniper upgrade), I'd say it was a good time. Just try not to get shot on the nipple!

We showed up as newbies - a family of 4 and were like oh no!! These are all hard core players!! The staff was GREAT!! They showed us how to use the equipment and didn't make us feel out of place at all. It was such a fun day. It was sooooooooo much fun. We got our tickets off Groupon. It's $3 extra for padding but it won't help if your plus size because it won't stay on because it's Velcro! But they have different prices for the paintballs! Now I've been paintballong before but at lvl up and the paintballs was half the size of the ones we used! Let me just say it definitely hurts getting hit with something the size of a quarter! They had 3 different fields to play on and they are currently building a field for the pros! They host different competitions all the time also. The staff was really nice. I didn't see a bathroom tho. If your on a budget and want something close to town this is the place to go!!! Had 8 passes to SplatterPark (valuing $336.00) and were planning a family trip back to Ohio to…read morevisit relatives and enjoy one of the days together playing paintball. We had received these passes during a charitable auction. The passes did not have any expiration day on them. My cousin called just before we were planning to make the trip to confirm they'd be open and to inform them about the passes. The man on the other end of the phone stated that since they didn't have an expiration date on them they were not longer any good. He was asked how that could be considering the passes were auctioned off at a charitable event in which a great deal of money was paid for them. He stated that was too bad but you can't use them. Just think about the arrogance and deceitfulness of this company. We recommend not spending any money with this park or EVER buying a gift card from them because they do not honor their word and there's a very good chance they'll just pocket the money and refuse service down the road based on a made-up policy. We certainly will never go there in the future.

Came here on a Groupon, and frankly I was a little skeptical of what kind of experience we'd have…read more I was afraid that it would be poorly organized, we'd wait around a long time before getting onto the field of play, our equipment would stink, and we amateurs would be mixed in with a group of super-troopers who would annihilate us, and get no satisfaction in doing so. None of these things happened. I was pleasantly surprised by most aspects of this place. 1) It was well organized. We showed up, got our gear, and were out on the field in no time. They were very good at getting us to the good part. 2) They understood that people have different interest and ability levels. We were a group of 6. We started out playing by ourselves and then got mixed in with a group of OSU med students who were novices, just like us. 3) Gear was of good quality. Everything worked as it should. The fields were nice - they had a variety of different pieces of cover and points of interest (abandoned school bus, airplane wreckage, etc). 4) Staff was very nice. Our guide for the day did a good job explaining stuff while keeping us playing. Spoke to some other folks who worked here who were all also very pleasant and helpful. My only real criticism would be of the free lunch which is nothing to get excited about (nor do they pretend it is). If you wanted to hang out here all day, I would pack some food, as I was pretty hungry even after the provided lunch. This place definitely exceeded my expectations, and while we are total n00bs when it comes to paintball (and don't plan to become experts), we have already made plans to return to this facility (so mission accomplished Groupon).

Grew up going to this store since their original two locations. Great educators for new comers. Not…read morethe best of prices but their selection and service makes up for it and it's nice to visit a standing store rather than blindly shopping online in which paintball stores are not at all common. Getting back into the sport after some years and am glad to see paintball Ohio/splatter park are still around. Reside in Kentucky where there is no paintball so when I visit Columbus again it's always a treat. Judging by other reviews on here it seems to be a staffing problem which you can't completely judge a whole store for. Hope my man "crazy eyes" is still there. Great guy!
