The cabins are always so beautiful and well stocked with kitchen pots, pans, utensils, silverware etc. Even with 10 of us, we never ran out of toilet paper, dish soap, or trash bags. Savannah was a huge help in making a last minute weekend trip unforgettable! We arrived to the house with goodies galore set out for us. All the beds were made and that really made us feel as if we were just arriving to our home away from home. We got to use the hot tub plenty due to getting caught up in some snow. I have stayed st Beaver Bend Adventures many times and just love them. I will not use anyone else for cabin rentals and help with suggestions of things to do and even got massages set up in my cabin one afternoon after going fly fishing with lessons. The first time I threw my line out I caught a fish and got so excited that I fell backwards in the pretty chilly river water! I laughed so hard and the fish didn't get away! Rental company is non responsive to emails and texts. Check your invoices as they double charged on fees. Hot tub was out of water - but still running; cobwebs; no toilet paper at all in bathroom; pull out bed was so filthy my son wouldn't sleep on it. We rented a cabin for a quick family trip. We've stayed in broken bow ever year since 2007 and this is the first time we felt the cabin wasn't up to standards. The vents in the bathrooms appear to have mildew. The outdoor furniture was too dirty to sit on. Pollen all over everything. A board was off and you could see the rot on the rear of the cabin. We rented Copper Pines from 10/12/24 -10/17/24 for a quiet anniversary getaway. The cabin sits at the end of a gravel road and is the last cabin on the road. There are cabins within a close proximity, not a lot of privacy. After our experience we do not recommend using Beavers Bend Adventures for your cabin rental, there are much better options with companies that provide a better guest experience. The cabin is beautiful on the outside and inside., although it needs some attention. You can tell the owners took pride in building the cabin and providing furnishings. The trees nestles the cabin and provided some privacy from the surrounding cabins. The decks provide multiple levels of viewing the property. The kitchen is very well stocked for the majority of needs and beyond. Unfortunately, we left early due to the very firm mattress in the master and multiple other small issues that diminished our experience. Upon arrival we were not able to enter the cabin due to a code issue, it happens, but did start the stay off a bit rocky. In order to use the dishwasher, we had to unload the dishes from the prior guests. It was very disappointing the first evening when attempting to take a relaxing jacuzzi bath when realizing it does not work. In addition, the "hot water" was not hot. Had to use the hot tub to soak. Although, the jets are lack luster at best and the cover is heavy and difficult to remove and then delicately place nearby. Would recommend an investment in a lift/arm to improve the experience and in the long run prevent wear and tear on the cover and a step for guests to use to enter the hot tub. I've listed below some other items to note: 1. Kitchen: Trash can lid is faulty 2. Hot water was an issue for baths or showering, not very hot 3. Master bedroom lamps (2) on nightstand are broken on the back. Could not find any extra pillow cases for the 4 extra pillows in the closet. Used one from the daybed upstairs. 4. Master closet: we had to replace the light bulb. 5. Master bathroom: needs more hooks for hanging used towels to dry or swim wear. Sink drains need to be fixed, the rubber stoppers are a bad look. Need to scrub the shower bottom for mold. 6. Bedding: comforters could use an upgrade 7. Double doors throughout the cabin need the stripping repaired, there are gaps letting nature in. 8. Direct TV remotes upstairs were not programmed to the correct TV and one had corroded and leaking batteries. 9. Exterior: several missing light bulbs in the string lights around the picnic table. The furniture is dirty and should be wiped down. Light on the entrance ceiling fan glass fixture needs cleaned. Screened porch needs a fan that will move air properly. My recommendation, read reviews and pick a company that provides attention to detail and guest experiences. read more

Beavers Bend Adventures went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. We stayed at Coyote Ridge Cabin and the property was AMAZING! We came with a group of 9 guys and had a blast! The cabin came fully stocked with everything needed including a bottle of wine and snacks for the group. Additionally, the properties are just a couple minutes from national park and lake making the commute very easy! Overall this stay was amazing, the city is beautiful, the employees have great customer service skills and the cabins are extremely fun! This was now our 4th time staying with Beavers Bend Adventures and I have never had one complaint. read more

Deerfield Lodge is awesome! It had everything we needed and there was so much space to fit 16 of us. It was 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with plenty of couches through out. The upstairs game room had a gaming system and pool table for everyone to enjoy. Everything was clean! Beds were super comfy. Kitchen was stocked with items we could use to cook. There were games outside for us to enjoy and the deck is huge! Love the outdoor fireplace and all the sitting space. The kids even enjoyed the hot tub! It was nice to have WiFi because there was no service with T mobile. Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway read more

Visited Oklahoma cabins through Beaver Bend Adventures and rented Heavenly Ridge Cabin which was a 3 bedroom 3 bath and described as 2 Downstairs with a soaker tub (as pictured, but was now a shower), but needless to say it wasn't as described and the management team was unresponsive and uncaring. We needed the soaker tub for relaxation. The hot tub didn't work although it was reported to management. Just warning don't waste your money or time with this company. I have pictures of the discrepancy and just sad customer service is horrible. As an educator I work to hard to not give my family what was described on the website. Again beaware! Just be empathetic to the issue or put us in another cabin or some type of compensation. Heather is who I dealt with and could have been handled better. $200 after spending $1500 isn't adequate. read more

We we booked for 10-17 thru 10-20-2021. We terminated our stay at the Heaven on the River cabin on the eve of 10-19-2021 due to a roach infestation. Heather took our complaint at about 8:20pm Tuesday. Unfortunately our stay was ruined so we terminated and vacated immediately. When we arrived there were some red flags with the unit that were telltale of lack of upkeep. However, I wanted to give it a chance even though some things were acceptable for luxury cabin expectations and certainly do not measure up to the advertised presentation. I saw the first roach on the first morning (Monday) come out of the Beavers Bend Book in the kitchen. I killed it and didn't tell the wife or complain because I felt it was just an isolated bug. Then that evening she saw one crawling on some cut oranges. It worried us, but we stayed, even though I had to endure incessant complaining by the family. The next morning (Tuesday) I saw another one go behind the stove. Then while preparing dinner on Tuesday eve we saw 3 roaches within an hour coming out for our prepared food on the kitchen counter. I took a pic of one and killed it. It was then that we called and Heather took our complaint. She explained it was the first time a complaint was made about roaches and it is sprayed quarterly. Regardless, the roaches are occupying in numbers. I found it odd that there were many pages torn out of the comment book on the counter. Heather asked if we wanted a different cabin. I said no, the damage is done. How could I know if it was clean either. She didnt offer anything else or advise otherwise. After speaking with Heather and while packing our things to leave immediately on Tuesday eve, 2 more roaches were attached to our kitchen items and then ran under the spice rack and behind the refrigerator. Who knows how many came home with us now. We don't have roaches in our home and always take extra measures to keep it that way. Now we have to take measures to ensure we don't take them home with us. It has been very disappointing. It is rare that we get time off for a vacation. And now we have to wait for the next time. Our most recent stay was with Sweetwater Cabins last year. The cabin was crystal clean as it should be and was a fine example of a crew that really does thorough cleaning and cares about presentation. As I said before, we wanted to give the cabin a chance. It is very beautiful and secluded. However, as things progressed, the roaches were the last straw that ruined our stay. For the price per night and the cleaning fee, excellence is expected. Heaven on the River could not deliver in many ways. The thought of roaches crawling in and on our food while not looking is a total deal breaker and highly unacceptable. The next day Heather called and said they refused to refund anything because we left and didn't give them a chance to fix anything. How bogus...what she meant was because we didn't take their offer on a different cabin, we lose as a customer. Who wouldn't leave?. I explained that it was too late for all that. The roaches should have been sorted out before we came. Then she said her crew couldn't find any roaches. Show up at 8pm, they will be there. Very arbitrary and non-customer oriented. If they would have just refunded, I would have posted a completely different review and probably rented again in the future. Not now with that kind of greedy behavior. 10 of my friends & family & I booked Rusty Spur Lodge for a family retreat this year on the 4th of July weekend, through Beavers Bend Adventures. Communication was very clear & precise. I was given all information ahead of time & they continued to communicate prior to our arrival. I was so impressed with this location. It was beyond our expectations. The cabin was spotless & completely stocked with every dish & utensil needed. There were so many towels that none of us had to wash before our 3 day stay was up. The rooms were very comfortable. Totally my fault that I forgot my tablet on the bed in the master bedroom of the Mountain Breeze cabin, but the cleaning crew didn't turn it in. DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS NASTY DISGUSTING PLACE!!! They have BED BUGS and the owner is rude and prejudice. I would give them 0 stars if I could!!!!!! We rented the Chimney Rock Lodge for my birthday weekend and what was supposed to be a relaxing get a way quickly turned into a night of cleaning and washing. The cabin was filthy upon arrival and as we cleaned we found more trash and filth. Not only had the cabin not been cleaned before we arrived, it seems as if it had not been cleaned properly in a long while. The sheets that were on the beds were nasty and had dirty spots and sticky stuff on some of them. And clearly had not been changed from the last visitors. YUK!! A few of the comforters had stains as well. So we took all the sheets and comforters off the bed and washed them. The kitchen counters were dirty and had sticky stuff all over them, There was thick dust everywhere, piles of trash and paper and bottle caps, candy wrappers, open candy and all kinds of trash in and under the sofa and pillows. (See pictures) Later we found a few BED BUGS and called the property manager. She came over with maintenance and they did an inspection. We told the manager about all the trash and about the dirty bed sheets and comforters she informed us that they change the sheets on the beds but not the comforters due to a 4 hour turn around time between each guest. I was LIVID....During a coronavirus pandemic Not only are they not cleaning the cabin but they are letting us sleep under the same bedding that someone else just slept under. That is disgusting. I'm glad we washed our own bedding and we ended up cleaning the cabin too. Needless to say this put a damper on our trip, but we tried to make the best of it. Once we arrived home I sent an email to the owner telling her about our trip and after a week with no response I decided to call the owner Janine. She was the rudest person I have ever talked to in my life. Not only was she rude and dismissive she had the nerves to be condescending and accusatory. Not only had she not responded to my email, she hadn't even took the time to read it. She told me some sob story about her having to drive to Dallas to get a new phone... well big whoop! She was full of excuses and The first sentence out of her mouth was what do you want MONEY? I hadn't even finished explaining why I was calling. She said she was trying to work with "YOU PEOPLE" a few times which I found very racist to say the least. She accused us of moving the furniture and breaking things that we hadn't even touched. Told us we moved a table off the patio and broke it and I told her we never touched any table and had not moved any table or broke it. She said it must of been the people before us. Either way, who does that? I have never talked to a so called business owner who was this rude and nasty. She never once apologized for anything or offered to do anything to fix it. All she wanted to do was argue. I would not recommend anyone use this cabin rental service, they are the worst. My family and I have rented from many other cabin rentals in BROKEN BOW, we come at least 2 times a year and I have never had problems with any one of them. I will never rent from here again EVER and I hope the owners of this beautiful cabin learn what kind of horrible company they have managing their cabin. They should be fired because Janine is unfit to handle conflict and has poor communication skills and is just rude and nasty to customers. Why are we paying cleaning fees if we have to clean the cabins ourselves? I have yet to hear back from Janine. She clearly doesn't care about anyone after she gets your money. I stayed at The Great Outdoors on October 5, 2018 -October 7, 2018 (Fri -Sun) with my family of 3 and 3 other young families.There were 16 of us total and we all have kids 5 and under. We have rented with Beavers Bend Adventures for years and have stayed at this cabin twice before. It is our favorite cabin. Regrettably we will never be returning and can no longer recommend this company. On Saturday morning a friend staying in one of the downstairs bedrooms woke up to the sight of small blood spots on her bed. Upon further inspection she noticed tiny red bugs on the bed: bed bugs. She immediately informed me. I checked the bed and confirmed the same. I told everyone to check their beds. I called management and spoke to Janine, who I was not aware was the owner at the time. She told us she would send someone over to confirm. Unfortunately they don't have a cabin big enough to move us to. I call a couple times asking for their ETA. Four hours later a maintenance worker shows up. She confirmed the bed had bed bugs. She bagged the sheets and sprinkled some powder around the bed. I asked her to check the other rooms. She said it wasn't necessary. She gave us a bag of trash bags to pack our things inside of. She tells us we should run our clothes in the dryer on a high heat setting and/or leave our things outside in the sun. This was around noon on Saturday. I never received a follow up call for the rest of the day from anyone. None of us sleep well that night. Some sleep on couches. Others wake up every hour inspecting their beds. On Sunday we woke up early to decontaminate and bag our things. I called several times and got an answering machine. Finally when someone named Savannah called me back I told her that I was upset that the response to our issues was not met with more concern. She said that the owner of Beavers Bend Adventures, Janine, would call us back. She never called me back on Sunday. I called back several times, no one answered and when someone did they couldn't tell me anything other than to wait for Janine's call. Frankly I did not need the owner to personally call me back nor did I specifically request her call. I needed someone to offer us just compensation for having to endure a cabin with bed bugs because none had been offered. I needed someone to take this matter more seriously and do something beyond just talking to me on the phone. When I got home that night I sent a lengthy email detailing my extreme dissatisfaction in hopes someone would call me back. On Monday morning while at work I receive a call from another employee who offers me a $250 credit and a future free visit. Mind you, we spent over $1500 for this cabin. I tell her that is enough. She tells me she will need to speak to someone else. Around 5pm on Monday I receive a call from Janine who starts the conversation by asking me why I am suddenly so angry when I was never angry on the phone on Saturday. When I proceed to explain to her why I'm angry she yells at me and talks over me and tells me I need to listen to HER first. She proceeds to tell me how she already told me how they planned to clean the cabin and already explained that they knew what to do. She already told me she didn't have another cabin, but if I was that upset she could have tried to get me another one. She tells me how much money her company will have to spend to clean this up so I should think about from her position. She told me I shouldn't have called so many times, and said that a normal person would have simply waited for a call back because she was busy with her grandkids on Sunday. She tells me some guests don't get as angry as I do when they have bed bugs in their cabin, so how was she supposed to know we would be so miserable. Then she blames me for the bed bugs and says that they don't just show up and how does she know we didn't bring them. To say I was beyond angry at this point is an understatement. I calmed myself down. After nearly 40 minutes on the phone she agrees to give me 1/2 of my money back. But the fact that we had to endure the bed bugs and the indignity of a phone call where I am yelled at and blamed for our experience still makes me angry. She's right about one thing. I should not have had to call 15 times. I should have gotten ALL my money back the minute her employee saw the bed bugs and bagged up the sheets. read more

My adult daughters and I stayed at heaven on the river in January 2022. We had a blast. It was a beautiful place. The pool table was a joke! It was small and butted up next to 2 walls. Not usable. We brought home pizza one night. Left it in the kitchen for less than 30 minutes to open the box and find our food crawling with roaches. They did have an exterminator out the next morning but we lost all of our food that was on the counter. They apologized but didn't give any discounts or replace any food! Then my daughter was on the outside swing and the rope broke and she landed on her back from 5 feet in the air. I messaged them immediately. When I got the bill from the hospital I thought they would be kind enough to at least not stick my daughter with a bill from their janky swing. I emailed them, got no response for weeks. Emailed back and got a call to submit the bill to them and they would get back to me. They immediately, same day, sent me a copy of the waiver that was signed to stay there saying they aren't responsible for injuries or death on the property. I understand that if it wasn't their swing that broke!!! If it was a trip fall or an accident it would be different! But their equipment was faulty and I feel like with our experience we at least shouldn't have to pay the medical bill!!! I was assured the swings were removed. That's great for others but where is the responsibility for my daughters injury! I will never recommend them for these reasons. read more

Bed bugs!!! Do NOT stay in a cabin with this company!!! This company (Janine) was HORRIBLE to deal with! We stayed in Rusty Spur cabin, & on the last morning, my sister & I had bites on our arms. My sister ended up with bites all over & went to the dr to find out they were bed bugs. Janine accused us of bringing the bed bugs, although we have picture proof of not having bites until the 4th & last day of our stay! Her only offer of compensation was $200 off a future stay! Are you kidding ME???!!!?? We will NEVER stay there again or in ANY cabin with Beavers Bend Adventures!!!! She also had the nerve to say, "If you would like to pursue this further, have your attorney contact mine" instead of doing the right thing for the customer by reimbursing us for having to have an exterminator spray our home at a cost of OVER $500!!!! This review is for the Caddyshack cabin in Beavers Bend. DO NOT RENT THIS CABIN!!! I repeat, DO NOT RENT THE CADDYSHACK CABIN!!! So, this is our second trip to Beavers Bend cabins. We previously stayed at the Talako Cabin and it was amazing!!! This past Friday me and my family had the same amazing intention in mind. First, we get to the cabin and before unloading our suitcases and such we tried to turn on the lights. Have of the lights were out. The flood lights outside never came on. The outside fireplace on the patio which is what the biggest draw to the cabin didn't work. The fireplace in the cabin didn't work. The breaker kept tripping cutting off what little light we had off. A man came out and eventually got the indoor fireplace working and couldn't fix anything else. Now the biggest thing.....this cabin has roaches!!!! They were coming mainly from the kitchen. Who wants to cook and eat and sleep somewhere that there are roaches. I had to travel to Idabel, OK just to go to Walmart and buy roach spray and roach traps just to try and keep them at bay. This cabin has huge cobwebs inside the cabin as well. I don't know if they've been there for a while or if a very large spider just made these. This cabin has all the bells and whistles but is absolutely disgusting!!! Please review the pics before renting here! read more

Let me start by saying this was my family's fifth trip to Beavers Bend. Prior to this visit, we have never had any real complaints and we absolutely LOVED IT. This visit we stayed in The Caddy Shack cabin. I will say, the cabin is absolutely beautiful. The cabin however was not clean when we arrived. The bathtubs were dirty, the sheets had stains, the kitchen floors had stains and the kitchen was infested with roaches. In addition, there is an electrical issue through out the inside and outside of the home. The outside lights did not work, which meant it was pitch black at night. The breaker inside the house kept tripping which meant the lights in the living room and upstairs would not stay on. There are two heating/cooling units however only the one downstairs works properly. The upstairs bedrooms were FREAZING cold, while the loft was burning up hot. Despite the temp being set to an even 70 degrees. The outside fireplace would not light, and there was burnt wood sitting outside the fireplace upon arrival. All of our complaints were made to the staff the night of arrival within an hour of unpacking. They sent a maintenance man out to help us. He noticed the burnt wood sitting outside of the outdoor fireplace and said that he would try to get it lit, but the lasts guest must have tried to burn real wood which could have messed it up. He got the outside fireplace lit, but it went out within the hour. He told us he could not repair it. It did not get used the entire trip. We showed him the roaches in the kitchen. He said he was not an exterminator and there wasn't much he could do, so we went to the local WalMart and spent $50 on bug stray and roach motels. This did not help the problem. When we opened the cabinets to get plates, roaches would literally fall out. We purchased paper goods to use in lieu of the items that were stocked in the cabin. He was able to fix the breaking for the indoor lights, which stayed on all Friday night. Saturday however, they tripped and tripped and tripped.. and then never came back on. The outside lights never worked. We were told there was an electrical issue that would have to be fixed when we left. Despite all of these issues, my family and I sucked it up and laughed it all off and had a good time during out stay. I left several messages and emails for the property manager Janine, and received one rude defensive email in return negating all of my families concerns. I responded to the email letting Janine know that I was appalled by the poor customer service and lack of concern. We spent $1800 to rent the cabin and expected a lot more based on our prior stays. She said her father was ill and in the hospital and that she was sorry and would call me the next day to discuss our issues. The next day I received an email for a $100 refund, and no call or email. The following day I received an email from Janine stating we'd left the cabin in disarray and items were broken. I asked what items, and she simply stated the outside fireplace.. which keep in mind we weren't able to use once. Beavers Bend was a family favorite vacation spot for us. Unfortunately, we will not return. We traveled over 3 hours to stay there. There are too many other cabin adventures that are available to rent, that are much cleaner and have better customer service. I am incredibly insulted. I do believe that my family and I were targeted for complaining about the uncleanliness of our cabin, and instead of attempting to make things right with us, the management staff said we broke an item that we reported broken the night we arrived. We will not be back. Considering the Corona outbreak, panic and closures, bad weather, and people on the deck of our cabin AND an attempt breaking in our cars...this was a nightmare. while these where not at fault of the cabin/owners, I at least expected a sense of empathy and compassion from owner when I asked about a possible refund and over discussing these events. While it's understandable that in light of these events, they couldn't refund our money, I felt at the very least some human decency should have been offered. I think it speaks volumes towards characteristics of businesses and the integrity of their foundation. Instead of empathy or an attempted display of it towards our experience, I was mocked, laughed at, and ridiculed by this owner who tried convincing me that what happened had not happened. I explained I had called the cops twice, she said she needed to call and speak to them and call me back. At this point I don't care about my refund but am applaud that this woman is behaving so rudely and basically felt I was lying. Having called me back, I was told I didn't see what I saw, and my alarm was set off by a pinecone. I was shocked by insensitive condescending remarks. She said I was spooked by animals because most people that come get scared (I live in rural wooded Oklahoma and I know what I saw in the window there--A MALE- and outside- also: My husband is an AMERICAN VETERAN and is not "scared" easily-we wouldn't have called over an animal/pinecone). I said the police, the first time they were called, caught people on four-wheelers. We saw four-wheeler lights when the police drove after them. We watched it happen. The police told us they caught them and asked if we want to file a report. We said no because they said they were teens. She refused to listen or believe me and stated no 4wheelers are allowed out there. She preceded to say that I could take her to small claims, and she would win because she does this ALL THE TIME. She then, laughing, offered for me to use the security system if I was "that scared" but I didn't feel safe or comfortable in having my family there, so we forfeited the last night and just left. We spent our last night all in the living room floor together. Disappointed not so much by the vacation overall, but sick that we had given our money to someone so mean spirited and rude. I hope my post will help others decide where to invest their money, especially families. We will not let this alter our future visits, as we know broken bow is a great place with a lot to offer and several businesses that are GENUINLY kind. This is in fact our first experience like this in the area. ALSO: We won't be back to the store Janet's treasure chest either. Overhearing her rudeness there to customers gave away that she was in fact the same person. read more

We went to the Winding Creek Lodge for a 4 day weekend. There were 5 married couples and we each had our own bedroom and private bath. Very spacious and comfortable. We had a great time gathered around the huge dining room table for meals and playing games. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was clean and neat. Fire pit outside makes for a very nice nighttime conversation area. One couple used the hot tub and said it was great. Plenty of seating in the main living room, and a pool table on the second floor. The only drawback for me was that we had to leave the place spotless when we left. I mean, I don't leave places dirty, but I don't expect to have to do the cleaning crew's job for them either. Especially when the prices are high enough to cover having the place cleaned by someone other than guests. read more

I will not be back! we stayed in a nice cabin last year with this company, but we were not impressed with ours this year, and we ended up having a horrible experience. The cabin we stayed in was outdated, furniture is not replaced when worn out! I'm talking 5 inch gashes in indoor chairs. we got a call today saying we had damaged their hot tub cover and our child had cut holes in an outdoor cushion. Unfortunately we don't have pictures of the cover....which my husband noticed was already damaged along with indoor furniture, scratched up doors from pets and numerous other things.the cushion I never noticed as all their cushions on the patio are in terrible condition but my husband did have a picture of the outdoor dining area from when we first arrived and you can see a round piece of fabric in the corner by the fireplace. Which is what they are saying our child cut out.....our kids had not even been outside yet. Basically they don't maintain their furniture or do a thorough walk through and we will be the lucky ones that get stuck with the charge Of replacing a old damaged hot tub cover. I know without a doubt we didn't Damage their cover. It got removed twice by my husband and I and propped behind the hot tub against the fence as they do not have the support bar to hold it up. I was so upset and irritated it ruined the rest of our trip. We have already started looking at other companies for next year and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In the future we know to spend the first hour taking pictures of everything that is damaged so we don't get stuck with the bill. I'm surprised they didn't try to say our kids clawed up all their doors....maybe they could have got new doors as well!!!!! read more

This place is absolutely amazing! We stayed at the stargazer and had the best experience possible. The cabins come fully stocked with anything and everything you need. They will even stock the fridge with your choice of groceries before you arrive. Its beautiful and comfortable and the price is well worth every penny. We are planning on going back as soon as we can. read more

We stayed at "No Concern" cabin with 2 other families. The kids had a blast exploring around the area. My favorite part was the outdoor fireplace and porch. Very clean and cute little town to go explore. We plan to return! read more
