Beavers Bend Adventures Cabin

My family and family friends rent a large cabin from Beavers Bend Adventures each year and I have nothing but great things to say. They always have beautiful cabins, small, medium large. Always so well furnished and clean. Great communication with us always responded quickly and were very helpful. It's a yearly trip that I very much look forward to and Beavers Bend Adventures helps with that. I would highly recommend using them if you are visiting Hochatown or Beavers Bend.

Deerfield Lodge is awesome! It had everything we needed and there was so much space to fit 16 of us. It was 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with plenty of couches through out. The upstairs game room had a gaming system and pool table for everyone to enjoy. Everything was clean! Beds were super comfy. Kitchen was stocked with items we could use to cook. There were games outside for us to enjoy and the deck is huge! Love the outdoor fireplace and all the sitting space. The kids even enjoyed the hot tub! It was nice to have WiFi because there was no service with T mobile. Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway

Pic of proof of our booking.

Let me start by saying Heather is very unprofessional! She cussed at me(over the phone) as she kicked us out of our cabin because something got messed up on their end with our reservation. I have proof that we had our dates for 6/24/21-6/27/21 selected when we booked. Also they rushed us out and we had 4 families with a cabin full of stuff for 3 nights then preceded to call the cops on us lying saying we were refusing to leave. Beyond frustrated with this company and will not be staying with them again!

The lake

Only reason I am leaving 3 stars is because of the cleaning crew that they hired. Totally my fault that I forgot my tablet on the bed in the master bedroom of the Mountain Breeze cabin, but the cleaning crew didn't turn it in. Just triple check before you leave because you might not get it back due to dishonesty. Other than that, we had a great time and the cabin was honestly amazing! But who you hire is so important.

We also discovered a dead roach underneath the router in the bedroom. While the overall comfort level was cozy, we called as soon as we arrived and asked if we could be switched to a different cabin. We were basically told by the owner that we had to get over it and that it was on us and that there were no refunds available. Also, we were explicitly told by them to keep the noise down, but we could hear loud, cackling, and belligerent neighbors all around us the two nights we stayed there. I was willing to let all of this go as we did not stay in the cabin for a majority of the time we were in Broken Bow, but I found out today that there were roaches in our luggage as well as the trunk in my car. I had to get my car BOMBED as well as call an exterminator to come to my apartment. Meanwhile, we paid this company money for them to lie to us as well as send us back with an infestation. Though Broken Bow was a great idea, we will not be returning to Beaver's Bend Lodging ever again as the overall experience was low brow and traumatic.

Every room has plenty of lighting choices and the air conditioning is amazingly cool! The first porch is located at the entry of the cabin, where you can find a gas grill, seating and a hot tub. This porch is semi-private as there is a neighboring cabin on this side and you are separated by some trees. There is good lighting on this porch that can manually be switched on (can be found by the hot tub). Moving on, a washer and dryer are available for use, we brought in our own laundry detergent but there was some provided! How thoughtful! There are two restrooms, however only the one in the master room has a shower. Both restrooms were clean and had plenty of towels and toilet paper! Wow! I was so glad to see this! The master bedroom is spacious, private and has a powerful ceiling fan that hangs from above for extra cooling at night. There is two way entries and the vanity mirror is separated from the restroom, making easier for someone to get ready while the other is showering. It also has an attached walk-in closet. The kitchen is spacious and has all the amenities you can think of! All pots, pans, cups, plates, spatulas and silverware provided! There is a microwave, stove/oven, fridge/ice machine, coffee machine, dish washer, two sinks, toaster, and even a crockpot to name a few! Cell phone service may not be as strong here but this cabin has got you covered with their complimentary wi-fi!! How great is that? I was able to face-time everyone back at home! There is a dining area and the living space has a couch and three recliners!! These came in handy with the little one!! The rocking chairs helped him go to sleep right like he does at home. The living space also has a foosball table and a nice screen tv (with cable-nice!) , radio, DVD player and family board games. The second bed space, upstairs, is nice however there is no closet. If you have a little one be extremely careful on this floor as the railing is spaced out enough for a small child to fall through and the stairs are a bit steep. (This is where you practice those excellent parenting skills). The back porch is private with no immediate neighbors and a beautiful view of the woods and fire pit area. Complimentary firewood was provided on our stay. (This place is just awesome). Overall, our stay was just amazing, peaceful and still very private. The cabin faces away from neighboring cabin so it still gives the feeling of seclusion. The cabin certainly exceeded our expectations and is clearly taken care of! Will definitely be coming back to visit!

They are beautiful cabins with close access to awesome restaurants and beavers bend national park. Though we did spend most of the trip at the cabins. The decor is lovely and cozy, they are clean, have everything you need to cook and serve food with, beds were comfy, and the patios are amazing. We set up our hammock and spent our days lounging in that, the hot tubs, and by the fires. I personally preferred the Journeys End cabin because of the outdoor fireplace, the claw foot bathtubs, and duel headed showers. Though I will say you can hear the highway from the Journeys End cabin, so if you want to feel more secluded The Trees is amazing.

Everything in the kitchen was soaked and there was a huge puddle of water in the walkway to kitchen. My kids both slipped and fell on the concrete because of it. I called and messaged several times with no response but the one time I did they said they contacted maintenance, which actually didn't happen. They sent someone at 6pm the night before we left. We had to deal with this, the ice maker not working, and a shower that wouldn't drain throughout our vacation and after them mentioning a discount, they ghosted us. I've reached out several times several ways and nothing. I honestly couldn't imagine treating a customer, or anyone this way. Thursday afternoon- arrive at cabin, discover leak from ceiling in kitchen. Suspect it's air conditioning unit because the leak was also coming from outside condensation drain. Immediately I contacted Hidden Hills office because no maintenance number was listed. She said she would contact maintenance and get back with us. Never heard back. Thursday night- I call and no answer. Immediately get a text saying maintenance was contacted and they were supposed to send HVAC over. *she also said you will definitely get a discount* but mind you, I've already paid for rental. Friday- wait around for someone to show up. So 3pm rolls around and I send a text stating nobody has shown up for the leak. At this point we also have discovered the ice maker doesn't work and the shower won't drain. No response at all. Saturday- I get a message from maintenance on Facebook because of my Facebook post about this experience and he says he never got any message about the maintenance issue. He apologized but also tried to say I didn't call the right number although there's no number for him listed anywhere expect the fridge which clearly states to only call him after hours and for emergencies. So anyway I let him know the situation and he tells me the lady went through another maintenance guy and he would follow up. Never followed up. I sent pictures to both maintenance and the lady I spoke with. No response from her, but he said he talked to HVAC tech and he would be here shortly. Nobody showed up, so I called the office again. She acted surprised and said she'd contact maintenance again. She texted back saying HVAC tech is supposed to be heading over there, let her know if he doesn't show. He didn't show up. Saturday night about 6pm someone showed up to fix the AC leak, told us he hadn't been called out to this until 10am this current day. I then texted the company back and said he had been over. THEY said we would "definitely" be given a discount. I kindly accepted and asked what kind of discount and they responded with she would look at our account the next day. Sunday- nothing, but it is Sunday on a holiday weekend so I waited until the evening to text back again to follow up. No response. Monday afternoon- I emailed the same message, no response. So they ghosted us after checkout. It just really sucks. We spent what little extra money we had to make this trip happen for our family this summer. Then to have this disruption and headache throughout the whole trip is so disappointing. The lack of concern and communication was the most disappointing though. Please just don't make the mistake of trusting them, because clearly they don't care.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!…read more I wanted to do a surprise birthday party for my husband and I decided on this company to rent a cabin. We rented the Country Cabana First off I am OCD on cleanliness. This cabin was maculate!! It was EXTREMELY CLEAN!!!! The cabin had wood floors threw out and they were like polished glass!!! Second off this cabin literally came with everything!! I'm not even exaggerating! The kitchen was fully equipped with EVERYTHING! There was a full pantry with all your kitchen accessories, seasonings, stuff to make cake, coffee, creamer and even a juicer! I'm telling you everything! Bathrooms had everything, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and bubble bath, towels. Laundry room was stocked with laundry soap and stain remover. This cabin had tvs threw out the place, inside and out. Lots of broad games, pool table, corn hole, pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen. You don't even need to leave the cabin. If you did for any reason at the entrance to the cabins there is a grocery store, liquor store and mini golf/go-carts. I highly recommend this cabin! I will come back to this cabin, it was the best experience!!

Our stay @ #Seven Eagles Cabin by Vacation Broken Bow Lake was a good one with pros and cons that…read moreeveryone should be aware of. Pros: Fairly secluded, well furnished cabin at a great price. The Seven Eagles cabin is great for couples looking for a little room, yet still wanting to enjoy a cozy cabin feel. The small patio is great for a morning cup of coffee and the eagles carved in the post add to the great ambiance. The cabin is located back in the woods, 5-10 minutes from Beavers Bend State Park and Hochatown so the location is ideal for cabin goers wanting a getaway without being to far away. Cons: The cons aren't necessarily detractions from renting but things you will want to consider. The Seven Eagles boast two rooms, however one is only accessible via a ladder and even for the young is pretty steep. Their is only one shower and it is in the master bathroom and cut off from the rest of the cabin. The shower is also designed for someone less than 6' tall. The hot tub is drained after each rental (pro) but that means you won't be able to enjoy it on your first day due to not having time to get up to temperature. The steps up to the cabin are slippery and can be difficult to navigate with heavy luggage, so elderly beware. During our stay there were multiple lights out or not working which was a nuisance more than anything else. BIGGEST SURPRISE: Although the rental doesn't include a daily charge that many furnished cabins do, we were surprised by a hand written note requiring us to wash our towels and not the bedding. First, having renters do laundry for towels other people will use on their body doesn't feel sanitary. Secondly, having to do laundry for ~2hrs on your vacation is not fun, especially since you will likely have to do it on the last day which already ends early with an 11am checkout. The cabin rental also requires you to take out the trash and do dishes which aligns with the rental agreement to "leave the cabin tidy". However, there is something very unsanitary about asking previous renters to clean all the items for the next renters.

This was however the WORST WEEKEND EVER! TWO NIGHTS, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT, we were awakened by a very loud party at your location - Laketime. My girlfriends and I were staying in a different cabin. Under age drinking and pot smoking were both going on. We called the Sheriff's office both Friday and Saturday nights and they were worthless! So here is the thing, the owner of the cabin we stayed at - a woman- came to our cabin at 2:00 in the morning saturday night to assist us, and whoever answered your phone, couldn't be bothered. COULDN'T BE BOTHERED. He said and I quote, "I HAVE 2 KIDS - CITY OF HOCHATOWN DOESN'T HAVE A SOUND ORDINANCE, WHAT CAN I DO?" I get it, we live in a different society, but I HAD TO SUGGEST HE CALL THE PEOPLE THAT RENTED THE CABIN - "OH YA, I CAN TRY AND FIND THEIR NUMBER". I doubt he did. I looked up your policies on your website and clearly states no parties. If you have a party - you will be asked to leave. I suggest you follow your policy in the future! I have worked in Customer Service for the past 20 years. Never in my life have I felt unheard, and unsupported. I am really disappointed in Creative Escapes and lack there of to show care and concern.

You won't be let down and left wondering if the photos were actually taken at the place in question. Here, the photos don't do it justice. It's nestled in the woods with trees all around, but has a convenient drive up so it's not a hassle getting luggage inside. The views are stunning, and the appointments super comfortable, from the beds and linens, to the shower/bath features and amenities, to the Apple tv casting, letting me cast from my Apple phone/ipad onto the tv (we were able to download movies to our ipad then cast them to the tv for viewing). We're hoping to hop in the hot tub on our next visit! And, don't think that just because you're 'in the woods' you're cut off from civilization! There is plenty of "support services" nearby, including night spots, restaurants, and so much 'outdoorsy' stuff to do.
