I could live here. My wife and I did a two night stay in the Dreamtime Retreat Cabin and it was everything we had hoped for and more. I admit it might be a little pricey but let me tell you it is worth it. I am pleased with the amount I paid and the experience we had by far. The escape from the city (Dallas), being outdoors, quality time, having everything you need and the luxury amenities in the cabin are just what we needed. I booked this months ahead and they sent me all the paperwork I needed to be prepared for this adventure. I was a little worried that it might be hard to find but it was fairly easy and our Waze app lead us to the front doorstep of our cabin. Upon entering, we were wowed by how clean it was and the cool decor style of the whole place. Whoever decorates this place has a knack for what they do. I would say this particular cabin should be reserved for a couple looking for romance. We had a great time running around Broken Bow but we kept saying to each other let's go back and hang out at the cabin it was so awesome. We spent alot of time on the back patio enjoying nature and took a few walks. Do not be afraid of the the two dogs that may approach you while walking (white german shepard and blue heeler) they are very friendly and just want to walk with you. They will not harm you although they do wrestle with each other playing around. They actually walked ahead of us acting as if they were scouts protecting us. It's a good idea to go ahead and pay for firewood depending on how many nights you stay. I will say that the firewood they supplied is high grade. I ordered 50 pieces I thought I was going to burn through easily but I built a nicely stacked fire and the burn duration for the first few logs lasted so long I had plenty left over I kept so just know that their wood will burn for a long time it's not cheap wood. That kinda goes back to getting your moneys worth out of this place which they do deliver on that promise. The grill is good. Hot tub rules. Shower is out of this world. Bed is comfy. Pool table awesome. Patio rocks. TV/tunes all good. Nature good for your soul. Overall it was a great experience and we would DEFINITELY come back here. We came back to Dallas refreshed and destressed. Dreamtime Retreat is for sure 5 stars.

We loved our time in this cabin (Kindled Pines, previously known as Barely Camping). It was clean,…read morecomfortable, and very well-stocked. All we needed to bring was our own food. The cabin had toiletries, plenty of towels, trash bags, cookware, etc. The owners were responsive when contacted. The only thing some people might or might not like is the location. It's within easy walking distance of a few shops and restaurants, and the road is paved until you turn into the cabin driveway. That was a postive for us. But some people might not like the fact that there was the sound of cars driving by, and in the evenings there was live music at a bar that could be heard from our cabin. We didn't mind it but some might. A few years ago we stayed at a different cabin (Oh, Dear), which was much quieter but was down an unacceptably rough, unpaved road with large holes in it. We were happy to trade easier access and no worries about damaging our car for a bit less quiet. And to be fair, maybe they've fixed the other road by now, I don't know. We didn't want to risk it.

Broken Bow is always fun and memorable. This was our 1st family trip to Broken Bow, and I have…read morepersonally been several times. I decided to rent from Blue Beaver again since they've never let me down. I can't necessarily say that this time. I rented one of the biggest cabins on their website. We went to the beautiful Steinmore. This cabin is very impressive and has plenty of space for everyone. The rooms are decorated nicely, and all the amenities were thought of. My biggest letdown was the beds in the 2 master rooms downstairs. The beds are not of the highest quality and do not have box springs. The beds sit VERY low for the group and make it very difficult to get in and out of. I am 6ft, 230 lbs., and felt like I was sinking into the bed and rolling back toward the headboard. My daughter and her husband slept in the master closet to the kitchen, and they too did not sleep well. The mattresses were not the issue, it was the fact that the mattresses are sitting on planks. Other things that were bothersome are small details and have to do with expectations. * Dusty blinds * Smears on walls * Trashcan was not empty upon arrival * The walls behind the trashcans were dirty * The trash bin drawer was filthy around the lip of the can * Comforters and throw pillows in bedrooms were stained * Only two trash bags were left for a family of 15 for the whole weekend * Christmas plates and décor on the table were dusty- Probably pulled from the storage and set right onto the table * Glasses were greasy and many needed to be rewashed before using These are all small details that will make this cabin more awesome than it was. When you pay almost $3k for a weekend you would expect perfection.

We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor fireplace, and other fun features like the pool table and games. We spent most of our stay there because it was such a great place to relax and bond as a family. We were able to cook dinner in the large kitchen. The cabin had all the towels, soap, and toilet paper we needed during our stay. We also really appreciated all the labels on the light switches. Also nearby Hochatown was super cute and there were a lot of family friendly activities to check out.

The location was perfect, conveniently close but still far enough to have privacy. The bed at our cabin was probably one of the most comfortable across any lodging or hotel we've been in. The room and bathroom was spacious enough for our small family to not feel on top of each other. The cabin was impeccably cleaned and I felt like we were the first family ever staying there! The BBCL team were very thorough in the booking process, which I personally appreciated. They were very warm and professional, giving all details about check in and cabin details to allow us enough time to plan our trip. There was ample information in the cabin through the binder they put together about things to do in the areas as well. We also especially loved the prayer that was included as well! We are already planning our next trip. Our family appreciates you, Broken Bow Cabin Lodging team!!
