I knew there would be an ice cream shop in the town somewhere so we started wandering and came across the Mountain Top Yogurt Shoppe. No, it wasn't ice cream, but I knew it would fit the bill. When I walked in, I was greeted with a little sample cup so I could try out a few flavours. The shop has probably eight or ten self-serve yogurt machines, that would be just like a soft serve ice cream machine. The flavours included pineapple, coconut, mango, chocolate cake, pistachio and a whole lot of others that I can't remember. I sampled a few then grabbed a cup and decided on a mixture of pineapple and coconut. You serve it in the cup yourself, then go to the counter to mix in any toppings you would like. They had fresh fruit, gummy candies, an assortment of nuts, coconut, chocolate and others. Once you've got your toppings, you set your cup on the scale and pay for your treat by weight. It was $0.59 per ounce. The yogurt had about the same consistency as soft serve ice cream and was very flavourful. I loved the pineapple. My wife loved the coconut. I really liked the chocolate cake flavour too, but I figured it wouldn't go with the other two kinds. Liked it so much we came back the next night just before they closed. This was by far the best cinnamon roll I've had. The taste was unmatched by any regular cinnamon roll I've had in the past. The Huckleberry Cinnamon Roll is now gonna be my tradition if I ever step foot in the town again.
