On a work trip to Lethbridge, I stopped in because I saw the food truck parked outside, so it looks like they offer a mobile service as well. The store itself is quite small, but there are a couple of tables outside to eat at. Their menu consists of a ton of different types of poutine creations, from the "Plain Piggy" to the "Triple Porky", vegetarian, duck and beef poutines. Some other items are available, but the bulk of the menu is different types of poutine. While I initially felt like the price was a bit on the high end for a simple poutine (I ordered the Plain Piggy, which is just the standard curds and gravy) at over $8, the portion size was pretty big, and it definitely is a full meal. The gentleman at the counter offered to fry the fries in duck fat, assuring me that "it's awesome"; I took his word for it, and they were pretty great. I'd recommend the Piggyback Poutinerie as a place to eat in Lethbridge for sure! read more

Fully enjoyed the meal here. Cheese curds were awesome along with the fried pickles. We stopped for a quick bite and they were very fast and had great service. Very small place with just a few tables. We sat by the window and loved the dog bowl by the tree outside. Great for take out. Bacon is small bites of Canadian bacon and the maple sausage was great. Gravy was mild and fries were good. Would recommend! They even stayed A few min after closing to make us 2 more fried pickles. read more

I'm not even a fan of poutine, like, at all, but I come here with friends and we always have a great time. There are so many different things you can put on poutine. The one thing I get that may sound a little weird are the deep-fried pickle spears. I LOVE them! The staff are also hilarious and entertaining. They all get along great and provide great service while doing so. It's just a little gem located in a shadier area of Lethbridge! read more

I love this place! I've moved away to the states, and some places try to mimic poutine but fail miserably. Every time I visit I try to stop by for a fix! The employees are friendly and quick. There are so many flavor options, but even just the plain version is amazing. They use real cheese curds, which is a must for poutine. I like the stroganoff version, but plain is my favorite. Ordered a royal with cheese. Hands down the best burger ive ever eaten. Was recommended this ace by my family amd it surpassed all expectations. If you like urger and poutines. Visited three times over the span of a year and ordered a different kind of poutine each time. All three times the cheese curds were frozen solid. And to be honest the gravy kind of makes it all taste the same no matter what is added. I'll try again maybe some time. read more
