I'm the kind of person who reads reviews before I make a big decision or purchase so I felt somewhat obligated to review BeBalanced for people who might be where I was a few months ago. In a nutshell, the program works--but you have to really commit. You have to decide you want to lose weight and be healthier and finally get it right and keep it off for a lifetime. This is not a quick fix; it's a lifestyle change that takes a conscious effort from you every time you food shop or prepare a meal or reach for a snack. It takes structure and discipline but it is really DOABLE!! And the staff at BeBalanced in Blue Bell are there to help and support and encourage every step of the way! I did my first round of drops and weight loss and thought "This is hard. No way am I doing a second round! I just want to survive one round." After 4 weeks I had lost 20 pounds and kept my word not to do another round (LOL!) so I did 2-3 weeks of maintenance and kept that 20 pounds off. I started thinking "Why not go again. Maybe I lose 20 more lbs by my birthday in the spring and that would be awesome! So I signed up for another round of weight loss and lost almost 20 more pounds! They only let you do 28 days of weight loss the you have to do some maintenance. That system really works. 4 weeks goes fast and you don't stress your body out too much at once. After my second round, my husband had gotten on board because he lost twenty pounds himself just because I was doing the food shopping and cooking! It was great to have a partner and be motivating each other. He never took the drops, we just made changes to our food choices and preparation, and we did it in ways we knew we could maintain long term. I stopped taking drops at the end of April. It is now November and I am coming up to almost 70 pounds of weight loss. WHAT?!?!? I've lost almost 30 more pounds and, although I am using the creams, I'm not doing anything special. I just continued to follow the lifestyle plan I learned with BeBalanced. I eat almost 1800 calories a day just to maintain the number on the scale and stop losing weight. I don't even work out! I just take regular walks with my dog to get a little movement. Nothing hard core. My next step is I to work in some strength training to preserve muscle tone after such a significant weight loss and I'm ready to take on that next step because working out now is going to feel so different now that I'm 70 pounds lighter! Thanks to BeBalanced, I've reached a number on the scale I only dreamed about. A number I was told was the "right" weight for my body but I never thought I could get to that number. It was always so far out of reach and daunting that for a long time i never tried -- but day by day the BeBalanced program brought me closer to it and I'm forever grateful for that. I really highly recommend this program. I did a lot of my own research before choosing it and I didn't choose it randomly or loosely. I'm not a fad dieter. Never have been. Truth be told I wasn't really all that unhappy with where I was before, but part of me always knew I wasn't in a healthy place and I wanted to feel and look better when I looked in a mirror. So I was motivated on my own and had decided for myself it was time to take action. Unfortunately the staff and the experience overall has changed dramatically; I came back to be balanced because I had a successful first round years ago. The familiar names were no longer there. The owner apparently has a few businesses and lets things fall through the cracks including me and my appointments. I paid a lot of money and do not get to complete the program as outlined. And after I complained I still did not hear back from the owner. Very disappointing experience and would not recommend using the center in Ambler. Maybe some other locations have their act together but for the price you pay, you really expect to be guided through the program professionally. read more

My husband and I both started this journey together in early June 2024. It was really important for me to have a team player and to do this together! I cannot express how much BeBalanced has changed my life. I have struggled with being overweight for almost 20 years and was actually in the process of completing paper work and appointments to schedule weight-loss surgery when I saw a commercial for BeBalanced. I completed the online assessment, was contacted by the Blue Bell Center's GM, Leah Pro ("my Pro"), and I signed up immediately! I haven't looked back since September 13, 2021! I am down 45 pounds and have never felt better! My goal is to lose a total of 65 pounds, and I'm on my way! As an athlete and a former Army officer, fitness has always been part of my life. But over the last few years, the weight kept coming on, despite trying different diets and exercise programs. I have been on a long journey to find balance in my life. Beyond the annoying weight that I could never seem to lose, I struggled with migraines, stress, and overall stomach issues. I have tried everything - a nutritionist, a regimented workout program, constant testing at the doctor's to try to figure out what the issue was.
