All this food/drink would have been $3 ($1.25/plate plus .25 for juice and pudding) except it's free for your first time. You can also work for 15 minutes to earn a meal. I worked for an hour and they gave me $6 worth of meal vouchers. It's not vegan, but I got into town late last night and hadn't eaten anything other than peanut butter and trail mix in like 30 hours, so this gave me new life. Everyone here felt like an equal regardless of your socioeconomic status. This place is an example of how the world should operate. Also, the fettuccine was super dank. They also accept EBT and you can buy meal vouchers for $2 to give to people on the street if you prefer.

Our business has been collecting items for them for 6 years now and we just love supporting this local non-profit that has been making such a huge and important impact to our community. McDonald's was a proud volunteer today, helping to package food items. Today, we sorted and repacked pancake mix to go out to various organizations. You also have to label the items with nutritional information as well as a cooking label. What's good is that anyone can volunteer to share your time by working with them. Only requirement is that you're 16 years of age with an adult or 18 years or older. So come by yourself as Devon did or come as a group. It is a great way to give back to the community. They also give tours so you can truly understand the impact hunger has on the community, the state. I truly was blessed by this event.
