This is a nice place to volunteer, donate hand made items, and more. I believe it is a trustworthy place to get help if needed.

I don't normally leave negative reviews, but my experience at the donation center on Sunday July…read more26th was disappointing. I arrived to donate several quality items around noon and placed a few of them on the table near the donation entrance. An older employee immediately came out and, instead of greeting me or simply explaining the donation process, raised his voice and ordered me to remove the items. The interaction felt unnecessarily hostile from the very beginning. I calmly asked why he was speaking to me that way and requested his name and the name of his manager. He refused, stating that he didn't have a name or a manager, then walked back inside. Fortunately, a younger employee who came out afterward was courteous, although he said he was new and couldn't identify the other employee or the manager. I ultimately went inside the store and spoke with Assistant Manager Amy, who listened to my concerns, apologized, and assured me the incident would be addressed. I appreciated her professionalism. Goodwill's mission depends on the generosity of people who choose to donate. A simple greeting, a respectful explanation, and basic courtesy go a long way. No one volunteering their time and valuable items to support a charitable organization should leave feeling disrespected. I hope this feedback helps improve the donor experience at this store since it seems I'm not the first one to observe this kinda behavior.
