On top of the challenging features of the property, we had moved to California two years prior to listing to care for aging family members, leaving the house empty for that time. When we finally decided our move was permanent, and it was time to consider selling, we interviewed several realtors. We felt rather deflated, as almost every one of them discouraged us from listing and told us to wait. Most did a quick Google search of local stats and said it wasn't a good time. The realtor who worked with us when we bought it wasn't even interested in trying to sell it. Deanna is the only one who took the initiative to go to the property and get a real on-the-ground view of it. She saw what the area had to offer, and that the house was a gem with two big issues that would require finding a very particular buyer (a working farm across the street, which we loved, and an insanely steep driveway). And she believed we could do it. She made a plan, gave us a TO-DO list, and assured us that this house would sell. She gave us the confidence we needed to buckle down and do the work to get the house on the market.
