BROKEN CAKE !!! JUST STORE BOUGHT AND ENDED LIKE THIS!!!

Very very bad customer service. We have bought cakes and every single time the cake pieces fall off. They seem to be stacked without sticking and always manage to fall off no matter what. Today this happened once again more than twice at this point Our cakes we buy each time always always fall off even with all the carefulness given when going home!!!! Super bad, DO NOT RECOMMEND . We kept buying thinking this wouldn't happen once more and IT JEEPS HAPPENING. The senior lady with glasses and the young teenage cashier girls have super bad attitude towards us and their customers in general. Again, do not recommend this location treats customers super badly. I would not give not even half of a star to this super bad location. Súper malo, NO LO RECOMIENDO.

This small Mexican convenience store has THE BEST croissants in town. This is a typical Mexican convenience store but they have a fully functioning bakery inside. You can buy almost any of the sweets and not be disappointed. I recommend the boudine (bread pudding), tres leches (creamy white cake) and, of course, the croissants. The boudine is a semi sweet bread pudding with a subtle citrus and vanilla flavoring. The tres leches is a white cake layered with whip cream and sitting in a pool of sweet milk creme. All of these delicious confections are very inexpensive. Next time you want to have a fun tasting experience come here and grab a bunch of these treats and share them with your friends!

Visited this Mercado for the first time... wow, it's like going into this market back home in Santa Barbara called Super Cucas on Micheltorena, which has a market and the best burritos anywhere!!! Becerra's has an amazing assortment of pastries... every where I looked there were more coming out. They also had a lot of marinated meats in the carniceria. The people working there were very friendly.

Becerra's might be located in a run-down strip mall in a sketchy part of Vancouver, but don't let that scare you off. Small grocery stores like this don't stay in business 40 years without superior products, service and pricing. The meat selection alone is enough to get my pleasure juices flowing. You can find anything you need to cook traditional Mexican fare including hand-pounded cutlets for Milanesa, sliced and pre-seasoned pork for pastor tacos, and fresh chorizo made in house. Prices are shockingly low, from $3.99 to $4.99 a pound. Check out the freshly baked pan and pasteles too. Pasteles ar 60 cents each, and pan is 5 for $1. That's insane. Sure, a tweaker outside accosted me for cigarettes and "bus fare", but he was harmless. For these prices and selection I say tweak away, then step back because I'm on a mission for meat.

They have so much here, including the largest selection of yerba mate in the Portland/Vancouver region! Very impressed!

I've always enjoyed shopping at Camas Market and appreciate what they bring to our community…read more I see it differently than a traditional grocery store. To me, it's a specialty market with a thoughtfully curated selection of products, including Eastern European specialties, Russian and Ukrainian foods, imported goods, and an incredible assortment of pastries, cakes, cookies, and sweets that are difficult to find elsewhere. As for concerns about expired products, I can only speak from my own experience. A while back, an employee actually caught an out-of-date item during checkout before I even noticed it. They immediately removed it from the shelf, apologized, and offered me a discount on a replacement item. What impressed me wasn't that a mistake had happened, but that they took responsibility and made it right. No market is perfect, and occasionally an item may slip through from a distributor or be overlooked. What matters to me is how a business responds when an issue is brought to their attention. In my experience, Camas Market has always been gracious, responsive, and committed to taking care of its customers. I continue to shop there because I value the unique products, the wonderful bakery selection, the sense of discovery, and the people behind the counter who genuinely seem to care about the store and the community they serve. Not every market needs to compete on size or price. Sometimes it's enough to offer something unique, welcoming, and worth coming back for.

The prices are very high and quality is very poor, head of lettuce at 4.00 and it was molded and much of the produce is same quality. Prices on hard goods are ludicrous and alot of pst due expired items. So sad and a terrible loss.

And I probably left ~$10 savings on the table by buying the brands I preferred. The store is never a mess and the people working here are consistently good. It feels like a "we're in this together" kind of environment where we want to buy groceries and the workers seem to want to facilitate that, and then everyone goes on with their lives. I can say for 100% certain that this is the least financially predatory supermarket I know of. Produce is the biggest example. When stuff is in season, you can tell they buy a ton of it and try to turn it over fast and cheap. Very good quality limes were $0.25 today. I don't even think bubble gum machines cost that much anymore. But I also worked in retail and can tell they do the same with dry goods as well. They look for good deals like we do, and instead of using some complex algorithm that gets their CEO an extra million, they just make sure they're making enough money, and if they are, they often give people the opportunity to buy stuff cheap. The loyalty programs at other stores will never earn my loyalty like a grocery store operating in a neighborly way will.
