I suppose I shoulda known that the breakfast burrito touted as being the best around was gonna be a letdown. It was premade and thrown into some sort of air fryer / microwave combo and honestly falling apart. $30 for a breakfast burrito and salad that were both pre made just sitting there. I'd expect freshly made items for those prices. Won't be returning. read more

We found this place while driving around Vancouver, and it was nice. The inside was basic, but the employees were great. Unfortunately, when we came, they didn't have much. Omw was OMG! First off - the food and vibe is wonderful. Like you're having lunch in your mom's kitchen. The food is amazing. Homemade everything. Soups are amazing. We had beef barley and clam Chowder. Tuna salad amazing. Bakery items and cookies well worth the calories. Flavorful and generous sized portions for sandwiches and soups. To top it all off - our tennis team and spectators descended upon the shop on a sleepy rainy Saturday morning. They jumped into gear and fed all 20 of us - and there was not a single drop of food left on any plates. Fabulous experience. Thank you!! This is our favorite restaurant. Last Thursday we hade the most delicious lentils and mushroom soup. My husband had the BLT and I had the Willpower. Both sandwiches were exceptional - especially the Willpower in my opinion. Just the right amount of everything, including the touch or horseradish. The portions are always generous and I usually find myself taking half the sandwich home. Everything on the menu is wonderful. Oh, those cookies! Poppy and all the staff are a joy to be around. Just stopped in (first time) for a quick bite and a hit of caffeine. The delightful young lady at the counter heated up a sausage breakfast burrito for me and I grabbed a red bull as well. That burrito (paired with their hatch chili salsa) was SO GOOD! Every ingredient tasted high quality, fresh, and cooked well. 10/10 for a ready to go burrito. Stopped by for a quick lunch today before running errands. My husband had the Vegalicious sandwich and I had the turkey pesto. He claims his sandwich was the better of the two but I say that's completely debatable! There was a nice mix of interesting flavors in the sandwiches and they were both delicious. We were there after peak lunch hour. I'm not sure how things go when there are more customers on the store at once but our service was super quick. That said, it seemed like there was only one person working there (the very friendly owner). Looking forward to going back again. read more

I often visit this market because it is close to where I work and always find some sort of goodie but today I tried the tunafish sandwich.
