Val looked over my X-rays and deemed 1 - 1.5 hours to be appropriate for the 3 teeth. My appointment on 9/16/25 took over 2 hours to complete. It was the most rough dental experience of my life. It felt like Dr. Rodriguez and the dental assistant, Sarah, were trying to rip my jaws apart at times. Parts of the appointment truly felt inhumane. Towards the end of the appointment a tool was dropped on my neck. The tool was sharp. Both Dr. Rodriguez and Sarah apologized twice. I was absolutely terrified. Imagine being a patient, laying in a chair for over two hours, and tools being dropped on you. I was encouraged my another dentist to let Dr. Rodriguez know that the experience was rough. She said, if you don't tell him, he doesn't know. So, I emailed Dr. Rodriguez and his response was to remove me as a patient. I had 2 more treatments scheduled, and he refused to complete the treatment.

Two other dentists were pessimistic about their ability to fix it with bonding, without substantial removal of tooth structure. As I am blessed with overall healthy and pretty teeth, I resigned myself to just live with it. While it was barely noticeable to others, it was a substantial source of frustrating, near-constant physical discomfort for me. After moving to San Antonio, I wondered if this practice could help me out. Dr. Beckel saw me for what I assumed would be just a preliminary consultation, and he convinced me to let him fix it right then and there! I got the sense he could tell it had really been bugging me a while, and wanted to make it better. I felt his communication was good and his bedside manner really excellent. He gave the problem a lot of thought personalized to my specific case, and was optimistic--but realistic--about his ability to fix it with as microscopically minimal enamel removal as possible. After just a few minutes, I got handed a mirror and was stunned to see a tooth that looked genuinely as good as new. It was actually a bit shocking, in a good way. I am truly amazed by the appearance of this bonding. We checked with Dr Stewart, no surgeries, she got to keep a number of her teeth which made use of dentures extremely easier for her which for someone at a relatively younger age is a huge deal. Everything about Dr. Hale and his staff has been superb. The office is always spotless, the staff and front office team are amazing, and most importantly, Dr. Hale is truly a master in his field. I originally booked an appointment for my teenage daughter, who was suffering from TMJ and jaw issues. I was so impressed with his assessment and the Invisalign treatment plan that I booked an appointment for myself for a cleaning and X-rays.
