According to my health insurance, the amount I owed was only about 1/5 of what I was charged. I was told by the billing office that Trinity Mother Frances has a policy to keep this extra money and distribute it to other parts of their health care system until all bills are paid. Even if you are current paying the other bills they keep the money until all bills are paid. According to them, this could take 3-6 weeks, and then they will mail me a check. I cancelled my second appointment. I recommend never using TMF healthcare services due to this policy.

I waited 2 days for an answer from Dr Russell wether or not he would see me,well they still have my personal info AND my discs but I was refused an appointment! At this point I cannot walk and I was refused ???? I explained my dilemma in length and that time was of the essence. I called THEM back only to get a message to leave a message! They called back 30 minutes later to say NOPE...Call somebody who does pain management,in other words Dr Russell would rather not take the time to access! My experience with pain management always ends up with drugs,lots of drugs which I don't care for! To me it appears that I'm not a huge money case so be gone with me! Totally disappointed with how this was handled! Right now BC/BS is being hit with an ID scam so I was not real pleased with handing over my entire personal information just to be turned away! I just made a phone call to another local orthopedic place and without hesitation I was received and an a appointment made without hesitation!
